Holy Goodness! Seriously you guys. Where should I begin? I really wish I could give this coffee shop 500 stars. I found out they've been in SC for 3 months (and I mean, can they please stay forever?!) They actually travel all over the world to find the best quality coffee for us to have the pleasure of indulging in. When I looked at their menu, I immediately noticed my beautiful homeland (Honduras) named on it. I inquired right away, and the manager/barista ( who was super sweet by the way and kind enough to listen to all of my 100 questions) told me that they travel to Central America and actually visit the farms where the coffee is grown. They talk with the farmers, develop relationships that make a difference in third world countries such as mine and import their delicious coffee to us, here, in San Clemente. How incredible is that?! I mean, it goes above and beyond quality - they actually care enough to ensure that they understand exactly whom and where they are buying from. I love that so much! I really wish I could say more about that (believe me, I want to) but I know this is Yelp! and you're interested in the coffee shop experience - right? Service: 100 stars. Simply incredible. Ambiance: hipster, quaint, adorable, minimalistic, rustic, vintage, warm, cozy. Noise level: I am writing this while I am still here - it is actually pretty quiet. Perfect to work (which is why I came, but I just had to write this review) and for studying/reading. They have music playing, but it's instrumental and it isn't loud so it's not distracting at all. And last but not least: the COFFEE! All I can say is that I felt like I went back to my beautiful Honduras and woke up in beautiful San Clemente. If you've never tried coffee from Honduras, this is your opportunity to do so. You will not regret it. I paid $8 for a small cup of warmth and memories, and it was worth every penny. This is such a hidden gem! The sign outside is misleading with the biggest word just being "Smith" Walking into this store has such an awesome vibe! You walk in and there's a really interesting mix of chic and cute accents mixed with industrial and simple furniture, such as a couch made of cement blocks piled up with a cushion. There's a beautiful tile wall with cute cards with seashell and plant decorations and it's so nice to gaze off at. You also get an amazing view of the bar where they make your drinks which I love!! I've been here twice so far and their quality of drinks can not be beat. I've tried their iced matcha latte and their iced vanilla latte and both were phenomenal!! My husband and I stopped by Wahoos and saw the Cafe Smith across the parking lot. The cafe's name caught my eye. I thought the place was closed. (It actually was because of COVID on Sundays). I was greeted by both of the owners and wanted to buy some coffee to support local business. The owners were nice enough to sell me three bags of coffee, offered my husband and I cappucinos to try, gave us another sample, and stickers! What an introduction! Very special coffee place. It has a surf vibe to it with surfboards and a small selection of merchandise as well. If you like coffee drinks on the sweet side you should definitely try their Bon Bon drink which is a strong iced coffee with condensed milk. read more

Just discovered this amazing coffee shop in San Clemente on our way home from San Diego to Sacramento. Walking in we were warmly greeted by the two owners who were happy to share their expertise of the coffee beans and drinks they served. The shop was bright,clean, with cool music playing in the background. I selected the cinnamon latte and my husband had a peppermint mocha; all their syrups are made in house. Our drinks were served in ceramic cups with beautiful latte art. My latte was delicious, tasty, and smooth! And I loved the touch of cinnamon. We thoroughly enjoyed our coffee experience there and highly recommend you try them. I know we will be back our next trip down south. Great job guys!!!! read more

This is probably the nicest coffee shop I've been to in San Clemente. It almost seems too nice to be in this shopping center. They have a nice selection of coffees including geisha coffee which I haven't seen at many places in Orange County in general. The prices are all very standard and very worth it in my opinion. The people working there are very accommodating and the atmosphere is wonderful. The music is calm and makes the entire visit enjoyable. I've tried both a dirty chai which was good in both the latte and espresso departments and a mocha which was also very excellent. I tried the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie this most recent visit and it was scrumptious. My goal is to come here as many times as possible before I leave for college. read more

Just wandered into this new place and quickly found out how amazing it is! The coffee is delicious, I had an iced vanilla latte. The vanilla and sweeteners are all made in house and aren't overly sweet or "Starbucks'ed" up. The result was a pretty smooth incredible cup of joe! I'll def be heading back. We had no idea this little shop even existed! I was pleasantly surprised by the shop.. we tried their cold brew and cappuccino and both were great. The location is a bit tricky to find. As others have said, the biggest word outside the shop is "Smith". If you're struggling finding this place, it's in the movie theater parking lot, not the one past it. Tip: It's next to the Sheiza Threading place. (The shop is on the backside of Full Moon Sushi.. sometimes the address will take you to the Full Moon Sushi parking lot, but if you're getting lost it's on the other side!) The shop itself is cute and clean. It was very quiet when we were in there. They do have some tables so you could go sit and work with your laptop. According to the barista's, they've been here for about 6 months now. We live right up the street and I am so happy I found out they're here because I'll skip Starbucks for coffee from now on. read more

Learned they just opened 3 weeks ago and they're doing a good job so far. Cute interior, clean, simple, and they mix industry and green. Cinder blocks, succulents, wood...so cute! Passed Rapport on my way back from work the other day and stopped to check it out. What a neat coffee shop! I sampled the iced vanilla latte, which they explained was made from natural vanilla as opposed to syrup, and it tasted great. The chai latte was delicious too.
