Not going here again. Was recommended by a friend for an easy pick up for dinner. Definitely not worth it. Very cheap with the chicken, All rice and lettuce and doesn't even look like a whole chicken breast. I would be embarrassed serving this. At least fill the other sections of the box or pack in a smaller box to look like it's more food. VERY disappointed. ***update after eating- the chicken is gross, chewy, thin, no wonder they put so much teriyaki sauce on :(

I love this place, it's been a minute and as of moment they still don't disappoint. The flavors are on point. I have tried the curry, the chicken sandwich a little messy, the Chinese chicken salad. The coleslaw on point and not forgetting the fabulous chicken teriyaki yummy. The service is very welcoming and quick to order. The fries are great, but getting them to go with a plate item. Not so much, you need to place holes so the fries aren't soggy. Other than that, keep up the good work and your establishment always stay clean . Thank you

First time going here and it wasn't a good experience. Cashier with no greeting after chatting up a storm with previous customer. Lady giving out the food was friendly but the amount of chicken is really bad. They just give you tons of salad and rice but little bit of the meat. Won't be back.

First time at Rascals! I was so excited to go- the place is huge very clean and the staff were amazingly nice and informative (Ian) very helpful with selling the perfect size platter for family Christmas party. The Food is also Amazing! I highly recommend visiting this Gardena Location especially if you have to grab last minute catering food items. I ordered the CCS Chinese chicken salad. Each tray was about $55 very reasonable for last minute.

I used to go to the one in Long Beach before it closed years ago. Now this location is close to me and it's a great Teri bowl staple when you want a simple wholesome meal. Heads up they don't sell their famous dressing by itself it only comes with a salad purchase. Lately I've been liking their bag beef and half chicken bowl, I can stretch this out to 3 meals sometimes. Plenty of parking available and the food coma out pretty quick.

Been coming here for years. The Chinese Chicken Salad is to die for. The also have a beef and chicken teriyaki plates along with a variety of other things on the menu. The service is great and everyone is friendly and polite. They have plenty of seating inside. And they get busy durning rush hours. I would definitely recommend this place.

The Service was meh. Cashier was not helpful. Yet very empty. We all have our bad days. I arrived at 12 noon on a Saturday an hour after opening. Not sure if I will come back to this Location anytime soon

Ordered the Teri Plate, with both chicken & beef. The complete meal with delicious, including the salad .

I've had a meal from this place before, but I always had it delivered, so I never got to interact with the staff. I went in person for an order and was helped by friendly staff.

They even opened the door for us as we exited. Our food came quickly and tasted fresh and amazing. We loved all 6 handrolls we ordered. Our recommendations are the eel + tamago and the snow crab + spicy mayo. I highly recommend adding double rice to your handrolls (it's free!) We also ordered the sweet potato brulee which was the best dessert I've had in a long time. It was not too sweet and very light/refreshing tasting. We will absolutely be returning! They offered us free beer because of the World Cup games, but we declined because we dont drink. But it was a nice of them to offer. We got a bunch of handrolls. You can get double portion rice (for free) if you think the portion is too small which I did. Everything you see on the menu is just one piece, so it can get pricey if you eat a lot. The seaweed wrapper is so crunchy! I love it. The fish quality is decent but not too fatty. The sauces and wasabi makes up for the lack of fish fat, so it is still flavorful with every bite. Service was very quick, probably because it was practically empty at the time we went. The food came within 5 minutes of us ordering. Friendly waiter. Clean bathroom. Bathroom has 1 women's only and 1 family neutral (inside has a urinal) bathroom, so I'm guessing this is just a retrofitted men's bathroom. World Cup decorations everywhere at the time of writing this. Overall great spot to eat delicious handrolls.

I usually read through the Yelp comments and look at the photos before trying a new place, but this time I only checked the rating -- which was great -- and decided to go based on that and the FB post. Looking back, I probably should have read the reviews first. We didn't realize the bento boxes are only available during lunchtime, and we were also surprised to find out they don't have yakitori. Those were two things we were hoping to try. We came with a party and ordered several items, including the Akatsuki Special Hot Pot, which was recommended to us, along with other dishes. The tempura and karaage were definitely the highlights -- both were really good. The rest of the food was okay for our group, but unfortunately it didn't really satisfy our craving or stand out the way we were hoping. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the staff was friendly. I think the biggest thing was that our expectations were set by what we saw on FB, and the items that caught our attention weren't available when we visited. I would recommend checking their current menu before going so you know what to expect. Maybe we'll come back another time to try their lunch menu and explore more of what they offer.

When we arrived for lunch, the place was quite festive with a mixture of young people, families with kids, and an ongoing lunch party with senior ladies. Luckily, we were able to get the last table, and the friendly waiter brought the water and menus right away. After browsing through their menu, we ordered the following items: Special Fish Combo (Spanish Mackerel): The Spanish mackerel was nicely grilled but lightly seasoned. It had quite a few bones, which took a little bit out of the enjoyment of the meal. The udon noodles had a very nice texture, however the broth was on the bland side. The California rolls were well made and flavorful. Tempura Combo: The shrimps were tender, however, the battered outer layer of the tempura was a tad thick and not quite airy. Like Fish Combo, the udon had a bland broth, and the California rolls were fine. Our main issue was the 50-minute wait time for the meals. As a courtesy, the restaurant definitely should have informed us about the delay.
