Never again gotta "get up outta here". I got a 3 way combo it was 5-8 little shrimps, 2 chicken wings, and 2 small pieces of fish with a Mac and cheese. The price did not match up to the food portions. 40 bucks was way to much for this child size plate. The seafood was mediocre. The Mac was straight up inedible. It tasted like boiled noodles with minimal to no cheese. I ate here a couple years ago and let me tell you the plates went from a big styrofoam tray to a little open boat tiny plate. The ONLY reason that this place is 4 stars not 5 is the time it takes to get your food. The food is 5+ stars and that is no joke! I've had multiple items on the menu and yet to be disappointed. I absolutely love the crab cakes and the chicken. My wife got some chocolate cake and now that is on the "always order" list. Just so you know, if you are going to order the "had to have it" you need to go store to order it. They will not allow you to order ahead. While I do not like this, I understand the business decision. I just wish they would allow you to pay online if you wanted to order this item to facilitate ordering ahead. I was in Stockton, ca today and decided to stop by my favorite fish spot. I ordered my son the small tender and fries, my mom got fried catfish (bone-in) and fried chicken wings with fried mushrooms. The car was quiet so I guess everyone enjoyed there meal. I got Alaskan cod and red snapper plate with fries. And I must say omg the fish was so good and melt in you mouth. My red snapper tasted buttery and my cod was not dry. When my order was taken by Ray (owner) I asked if the cod would be dry and I was guaranteed it wouldn't and I was not disappointed. Every plate comes with 2 slice of bread, coleslaw and fries. When you go for your fish make sure to get the hot tartar sauce. It's also a fish market so you can get fresh seafood. (Aug 16, 2020) Positive: the food was hot when the order was ready. I ordered a pound of snow crab and half pound of jumbo shrimp. I also asked for spicy seasoning. The portion sizes were skimpy and over cooked. I had a total of 8 shrimp and they were not jumbo. The crab legs had very little meat and stuck to the shell. The secret sauce seemed to be water based, made from jars of minced garlic. There was a slight hint of lemon, but definitely no spice or salt. Nothing special about the sauce at all. I would compare these crab legs to the Asian buffet crab thrown in sauce. I would recommend driving a little further for crab that's worth the price. read more

I'm new in the area and was told this place has good food. A friend and I came in and ordered $100 worth of food. After waiting for about 30 minutes our food was ready we grabbed our order and left. We get home a few minutes later and as we're going through the bags we realize that our two way combo and small jambalaya was missing. We immediately call the restaurant back. A young lady picks up and says let me talk to the man who packaged your food. When he gets on the phone (Ray) as he made sure I knew it was him starts to repeat my order multiple times. I ordered the food so I know what I got. I tell him the combo is missing and so is the jambalaya. He tells me he packed our food personally not one of his staff and he put everything in there. I tell him I can bring it back I have no reason to lie I just spent a decent amount in your restaurant. He proceeds to argue with me like I'm just trying to get over on him. Finally he says I was suppose to grab the jambalaya out the fridge fine that's my bad it was my first time I didn't know. After arguing he finally says do you want credit back or to remake the food my best friend is still hungry so I say remake it. He says it will be ready in 20-25 min we pick it up and I can still hear the attitude in his voice. Fried oysters and WATERMELON LEMONADE (not on the menu!) slush! Both were really good. - Prices were good, ranging from $1.99 for lemonade & $2.99 for fried mushrooms to $7 fried oysters. I only regret not getting more of their sides like gumbo and okra @_@ - Clean atmosphere, and the place didn't smell very fishy for a fish/seafood market. - Parking -- Great big lot out back, so you will not have trouble! I was also surprise by the amount of catfish fillets it came for the large, definitely worth the price. This place could've been a 5 stars but our sides (red beans & rice, fries, Mac & cheese) was really bland and the $6/$7 slices of cake was dry AF. The owner manager helped us explained the menu and we ordered. The freshness of the seafood 5 Stars, the smell and seasoning 5 stars, the overall customer service 5 stars. We got our seafood boil Jumbo prawns, crab, corn, & links. It was just so delicious. The owner even gave some some Tiger Prawns ( Giant Giant) on the house. So kind of him. We also got fried chicken wings. Oh boy it was the best wings we have had in a very very long time. I highly recommend this place and it's now one of my favorite spots. This was suggested to us by a family member who mentioned that they served halal fried chicken. We immediately decided to check it out. We walked into the establishment and were immediately impressed by the cleanliness. The man at the counter who helped us was literally one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of interacting with in food service. He allowed us to take our time figuring out what we wanted and even let us add some last minute items we hadn't realized we wanted until payment. The food was absolutely delicious. My mom is a hard person to please and kept saying how delicious everything was in addition to being so happy it was halal. We ordered coleslaw, potato salad, fried okra, hush puppies, fried corn, fried catfish, fried chicken, and garlic shrimp scampi on a bed of rice. ~30 bucks to feed four adults and we have plenty leftover. Wait time from raw to deliciously fried was only about 10-15 minutes on a Monday night around 6:30. Very convenient. Highly recommend and will definitely be ordering out from here again. PS. He also never skimps on the sauces which included tartar sauce, spicy tartar sauce, ranch, Louisiana hot sauce, ketchup, etc. The fish is always fresh, piping hot, and portions are absolutely crazy for the price point.
