I've been to him a few times, but this time, when I tried telling him what was wrong with my cut, he insisted that he didn't want to cut anymore. I don't understand why stylists will show you how much they are going to cut from the length, have the client approve, then proceed to cut inches more.. The layers needed to be blended, instead of cutting more from the length. They were very busy, but letting a client leave looking like this is unacceptable. I've gone back to have him fix the layering in the past, but I can't get past him blowing off my concerns while I was sitting in his chair. I shouldn't have to make 2 appointments to get a decent haircut.

My first experience at this salon was excellent. Unfortunately, my second experience was the…read morecomplete opposite. I scheduled a 12:00 PM appointment a month and a half in advance. When I arrived, I was informed that my appointment was supposedly at 10:00 AM--which is unequivocally incorrect. At no point did the salon confirm this appointment with me, nor did anyone contact me when I was marked as a 'no‑show' at 10:00. I was then told they could accommodate either a haircut or a color, but not both. As I had an event later that evening, this was not a viable option. The entire purpose of booking the appointment was to receive both services. Prior to posting this review, I attempted to resolve the issue directly with the owner. She responded by stating that 'Megan said she spoke with you on a Saturday and booked a 10:00 AM color/retouch and a 12:00 PM haircut.' This is simply false. Megan is my usual stylist, but she did not schedule this appointment. Another staff member answered the call, and I had to explain in detail what I needed so she could take notes for Megan. The owner then 'apologized that I missed my appointment,' which was both inaccurate and dismissive. I did not miss my appointment. The salon made an error and has taken no responsibility for it. To have the owner try to gaslight me into thinking this was my fault is going too far. I can't give my hard earned money to an establishment that would think it is ok to do that to anyone. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional, especially given my previously positive visit. I thought I found salon with a stylist that finally got my hair right. Even though the stylist was great the first time, the treatment the second time and the treatment to me by the owner is unacceptable. I guess the search is back on for another salon.
