Food arrived pretty quickly but without utensils. Requested utensils, waited 10 minutes. Didn't receive them. Searched for another server and requested utensils again. Never received them. Stopped the next server 10-15 minutes later and requested utensils and to speak with a manager. Took him another 15 minute to arrive and tell me they didn't have anymore utensils available. I lol. I thought he was kidding. Well he wasn't. Finally 20 minutes later utensils arrived. My food was very cold and I couldn't eat it. First we tried to make a RSVP for a party of 9. Then I was told that " we don't take RSVP".....then I was told when I arrived the wait time was an hour. Then we opted to sit in the bar area, and the host seemed to have an attitude about it. The whole experience from the TEA, tasting stale to placing the order was crappy. I haven't been to Razoo's in years and I'm not even sure why. It was Fat Tuesday and my coworkers birthday so she picked the place and I'm glad she did. We arrived were greeted & seated immediately. Our waiter was very nice and took great care of is. I decided on gumbo and a cesar salad and it did not disappoint. The gumbo was flavor and the creamy dreasing on the salad the perfect compliment. I really don't understand how this restaurant is not five stars. Our family enjoyed dinner here and the food is absolutely freshly made. I had the Jambalaya Pasta, my husband had a fish basket, and my children had corn dogs. We also had a few appetizers of wings, and gators with shrimp. Previous visits have been great. Today not so much. I ordered the bowl of gumbo without rice as I always do and have at this location as recent as LAST WEEK. My waitress returns and advises that the manager said it cannot be served without rice. I asked to speak to the manager and some "20-something" comes and lays one leg into the opposite seat in my booth... rude... and I explain I've had this served this way previously. He advised the rice is in the roux... fine is that's really true I've never seen any so I advise I'm I don't have a rice allergy I just don't want the cup of rice dumped into it. What he advised is not correct and still don't believe him about the roux. Maybe there is rice flour in it but I've never hears of rice being in a roux that doesn't make sense. That's not how roux is made, literally it's fat and flour and aromatic vegetables that makes a thick gravy. Anyway his tone was very unprofessional and I didn't want to eat my meal there. read more

Went here Saturday for my granny's 70 th birthday dinner and the Manager was soooooo rude to our ALL BLACK PARTY! Told us we couldn't be seated together because we would socialize?? ( well duh we came together) Yet they tried to seat half our party very close to another party, we were damn near touching elbows with this other party. but since we weren't going to be talking to them it was ok that they were less than 6ft? If you love cajun sea food then this is definitely a place to try out. I went there for lunch on a Friday and it was wasn't too busy. The atmosphere was chilled there was some country music playing and the TV were on... they were broadcasting  sports. If you're not big on sea food then the options are limited.. I got the cajun chicken pasta. It had mild spices, and the chicken was very well cooked.  The didn't try any of their alcoholic drinks or desserts bcus the portion sizes are HUGEEE The waiter was nice she made sure to make eye contact with myself or my friend just to see if we needed anything.  There are a lot of parking spots. Went here for a work happy hour and ended up feeling ill afterward (and threw up later...sorry). I'm sure it was a combo of the nasty fried food and the way too sugary drink. Came here after coming back from a trip and the service was horrible. We were sat by the bar area and did not have a server come by for quite some time (when the restaurant was empty....less than 10 tables seated in the whole restaurant.) Another couple seated in the bar area had to request drinks from the bar since their server was backed up. We moved to the bar and the bar tender Tori proceeded to take our order. She served the Corona but failed to get the water & soda that was ordered. She proceeded to go to the computer to enter the order and started texting on her phone. I guess she had to check in on social media. But her service did get better towards the end of our dinner. Of all the items, the Corona was the best item we ordered. The broiled oysters wasn't too bad. The crawfish was not fresh and the seasoning way too salty. Definitely will find an alternative spot for crawfish next time. read more

I go to razzoos often during lent and I have one question. Is it me or does it seem like the portions here are smaller compare to arlington location? Their fish portions are so tiny. The catfish pieces are like the tiniest piece of catfish I've ever seen. My coworker ordered the blackened tilapia poboy and there was only one small piece in between the bread. My meal was a one star possibly for something else like Fried everything it might be another star. I ordered this years in Season Boiled Crawfish.... but I think they thought I said - last season. This was the second worst Crawfish I have ever had, in my life, period. You are supposed to be able to peel crawfish, but this dissolved into a mushy unpalatable mess. Either they were old or just under cooked, not sure which and probably do not want to know. The seasoning was the weirdest mess of flavors....tasted like it was boiled in salt water (mega salt) and then tossed in pure Cayenne pepper afterwards. No layers of flavors at all, especially yucky when it is a hot, salty mushy mess. Cajun seasonings are more than salt and heat that is for sure. The corn and boiled red potato were the best parts of the meal along with the service. I always sit at the bar so I have two servers and they were top notch. They kept my Diet Coke filled which I needed because of Cayenne heat not seasoned heat. Always good food at this Razzo's. Prompt service. The bartenders are easy to talk to, and sometimes have a interesting stories. Can't go wrong with Abita on tap. Any kind of crawfish, catfish or chicken dish here is great. Rattoes are tasty. The specialty drinks are pretty good as well. Swamp thing and anything gator goes well. But watch out for the second one. I can't say to much about the general seating area since I always sit at the bar. From what it looks like the wait staff works pretty hard in sit down area. A friend and I were in need of a Happy Hour to celebrate Friday and chose Razzoo's instead of our usual Mexican fare. When we arrived, there were only a few diners and we took a seat at a table in the bar area. After a few minutes, we were greeted by a nice gentleman who stated our waitress was running late and he would take our order. Since I would be driving when we left, I ordered an iced tea. When it arrived to the table, I asked for some Splenda. He left and did not return. Our waitress came in and took our food order and I again asked for some Splenda. Still was not brought. Ten minutes later, our food arrives and I asked this employee for some sweetener. Thankfully, she left and returned with some. Gees! For our food, we had the fried pickles and cheese fondue with shrimp. The cheese dip was forgettable, with a few pieces of shrimp tossed into a boring sauce, served with bread. The pickles, on the other had, were served super hot and tasted incredible! I had totally forgotten that Razzoo's offered fried pickles, some of the best around! In the end, the fried pickles saved the day, otherwise I would say to avoid this place. The service was horrible, to say the least. read more

Oooook.....This place wasn't horrible. The food was decent, but the service was a bit aloof and slow, especially for it being fairly empty on a Friday night. The menu itself is entertaining to read, but as I've not had real Cajun food, I didn't know what to expect. I had the Cajun tricky fish and my counterpart had the shrimp en briochette. The shrimp was small, and the bacon cold, and the rice that we both got with the food was SALTY. The fish itself was good, albeit a bit heavy with the sauce, but overall it was fine. Looking back, I should have opted for something else, but it was worth a shot. read more

I think its safe to say I am a offical fan of Razzos. I have went to three different locations for some Cajun foodand I have yet to be let down. The restaurant is always fairly busy in the wait time was extended because it was dinner rush. However once your seat everything is good. I ordered the house mango long island ice tea and it was really good. The fried pickles weren't too greasy but they were a little salty for my taste. I also ordered for my main dish the shrimp etoufee and it was very large and I couldn't finish it all but it was very good. I think Razoos is a very reasonably priced restaurant. Great for a second date location, or going out with friends for drinks. I definitely will be revisiting this location if I have another craving for Cajun food. read more

I've been here twice and both experiences were exceptional. The drinks are great and food is tasty. Both times the customer service was also great. This is a small token of appreciation... on my first visit there was a young lady on the phone and the hostess counter and another cleaning menus. I expected the young lady on the phone to make us wait until she was done. Nope! She greeted us and instructed the other young lady where to seat us.
