This store sold us an already damaged product that also doesn't work. We purchased a few different appliances at the same time more than a year ago. No other appliances had any issues but the microwave, shown in the pictures here, was damaged before it came to us. We did not unpack this until this month. It also doesn't work! We did not damage this product and the store is not taking responsibility for having had anything to do with the damage. We purchased the appliances during a holiday sale and we did not open the boxes Until we started with the installation of the appliances. When we discovered the damage to the microwave, we attempted to exchange it or return it, but we were told that neither was possible because it's been more than two weeks after we purchased the product. We did not open any products until we were ready to install them , I now know that I need to do that in the future. I am posting this review to spread awareness and let others know to open up your packages to inspect the products for damage /check the product for operation within two weeks of purchase , because this store will not take the products back. Furthermore, the lowest point, the store accused us of damaging the product and trying to return it! Needless to say, we will never be returning to buy anything at this company anywhere or ever again. read more

WORST FURNITURE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! DON'T DO IT!!!!!! My god awful adventure with RC Willey started a year ago. We financed around $2700.00 worth of furniture. A couch, chair, and mattress. The couch and the chair were awful. The cushions were slipping off constantly. You would have to get up ever 10 minutes and push the cushions back onto the couch/chair so you wouldn't fall off. During the 4-5 months we had the couch 2 springs broke and popped out of the bottom of the couch, and had to be repaired. Also, threads were coming undone from all of the cushions. RC Willey refused to give us a refund but said we could return the $1400 worth of furniture for other furniture that had to be at least $1400. So, to clarify, they did not refund us store credit in the amount that we had paid them, but they forced us to have to get something that would lock us into continuing to give them money. We went to RC Willey and did not find anything that matched our style, but settled on a midcentury couch/chair/ottoman that equaled to about $1800. So they managed to get more money out of us... Within 2 weeks of delivery the fabric on the furniture started to shred and the buttons started popping off of the couch (see attached images.) We notified RC Willey of this in August. It took me calling them weekly until mid November to decide if they were going to let us have our money back or be forced to pick out another $1800 worth of their cheaply made crap. Finally two weeks ago I managed to get a hold of a manager and he seemed to give in and agree to give us our $630 so we could move on. He said we would have our check in 7-10 business days. 10 business days later (today) I call because we have yet to receive our check, and if I've learned anything from dealing with this company, it's that you have to be on top of them or you won't get anywhere. The girl I spoke with on the phone says "You'll be receiving a check in 7-10 business days." I said, "Yeah, you said that 2 weeks ago." I asked for a manager. He told me they don't cut checks until they get the merchandise back (even though he said 7-10 business days 2 weeks ago.) So then I pointed out that they have had our furniture for a week now and haven't even cut a check. RC Willey was the worst decision we have ever made when it has come to making our house a home. I would have rather had Ikea at this point and built the damn furniture myself. It's insanity. Buy at your own risk. read more

I placed an order for 4 items on 01/31/22. I got confirmation emails and texts that all 4 items would be delivered on 02/09/22. On delivery day, only 2 items showed up. When I called to inquire about my other 2 items, I was told that I would get a separate email with a new shipment date. I was never told this. Why would they say all my items would be delivered on a particular day and then not even communicate when they knew all of the items wouldn't be delivered? That's ridiculous. After I ordered, my friends told me horror stories about RC Willey not delivering the items they paid for. I canceled my order and ordered from Living Spaces. Would not recommend RC Willey. I used to purchase my furniture at Rocklin R.C Wiley since It's closeby. However, after today's incident I would never buy anything from here again. I stepped in the store to get my business end of year supply for my office furniture at 15:40 on 12/24/19 after visiting American furniture store. The frontdesk younger gentleman greeted with me after I confirmed with him I have about 20 minutes to view the items in stores before closing since it's Christmas Eve. Then 5 minutes later another older gentleman in his 60s wearing a grey suit abruptly stopped me as I walked towards the office furniture area that "I only have less than 15 minutes after nonchalantly asked me if I needed any help since they try to get everyone home." Needless to say I decided to make my end of year tax deductable purchase at American furniture and I would never visit R.C Wiley again with this kind of poor customer service. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I probably would. The only positive was that our salesman was very nice. I spent over $4000 for a leather sectional at this store. After 30 days of purchasing one of the recliners started leaning and sagging. Called the store and they were also it not going to replace it because I was one day outside the return policy but they did. From that point, nothing but problems electrical started not working issues with the frame underneath being bent and popping for the mechanisms underneath when using the recliners. We have a warranty but we have to wait months for parts to come in from overseas. With spending this much money for furniture and then having this many problems does not seem they sell very quality merchandise despite how it may be represented in the store. The store and the third party vendor are stating "customer usage" which I think is crap. My wife and I don't jump and down on this furniture to cause this kind of damage. I say crappy quality and no backing from the retailer to stand behind the customer in this case. Also, this sectional was bought March of 2023. Buyer Beware! 12/29/23 Update: I went into the store and spoke with them directly and much different experience than calling the customer service number. I was able to speak with the store's customer service and our original salesman as well as a salesman who listen to our story. Long story short then took the couch back with no restocking fee and we were able to select a different couch. Very happy customer with the store. She has been with RC Willey for 16 years and is extremely knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions and gave great advice. When we are ready to purchase we will return and work with Doly. The customer Service with the store extended Warranty department & with store manager Ileaha Williams is horrible. Nothing more than lip service. They have no problem taking your money for extended warranty. But are absolutely no help with helping you get the service & the support you paid for. When the service provider "Lake Appliance" won't even show up for a service call. They either cancel appointments, change appointment times or not show up. We've had a new refrigerator broken for 3 weeks & nobody with RC Willey will help. Ileaha Williams the General Manager of RC Willey simply said, " sorry there is nothing I can do!" I would rate 0 if I could. The customer service is garbage. Once they have your money, you're on your own. Bought a chair, loveseat and ottoman from them. All on back order per Covid. Never got a call from our salesman Brent. Had to make our own inquiries a month after purchasing as to when can we expect delivery. After a month and half of waiting and doing our own follow up. Our furniture finally came but it would take another two weeks to get it delivered. At that point we opted to get it our self. Back before Christmas we purchased a new couch from this location. The couch was a sectional consisting of 3 pieces. When it was delivered the frame on one of the pieces was broken and the other two pieces had holes and scratches. We called and they sent out new couches. These also had scratches and holes in the fabric. We called a third time and again when delivered the couches again were damaged. We called again and were told a manager would get back to us and a week, and several phone calls later, we are still waiting to hear from them. This has been a very frustrating process. It is evident that they have very little quality control and their warehouse and delivery people do not care if the products are damaged when the customer receives their purchase. I like the friendly, knowledgeable staff that go above and beyond to ensure you are well versed before you make that major purchase. Even the delivery staff has always been friendly and professional. My family has used RC Willey for years, and being new homeowners, we naturally flocked to RC Willey to purchase an entertainment center. However, based on our most recent experiences, we are questioning our families' loyalties to this store. FIRST OFF, when we were researching a "deal" that was being offered, we noticed the numbers were fishy. Look at the attached picture...when you add up the items on the left, it equals $1494.99 ($350+$350.99+$499+250=$1449.99). Since buying them separately is CHEAPER than $14999, this is Clearly NOT a deal, right?? When we brought this up to the saleswoman, she was VERY DISMISSIVE, and did not see an issue. She simply mumbled that it was a typo. ABSOLUTELY no empathy whatsoever. We wound up purchasing anyway because we wanted to get out of there. SECOND OFF, let's talk about delivery. My wife took the day off from work today to accept the delivery. However, the bridge portion of the entertainment console could NOT be installed because someone from their end DID NOT pack ANY screws to install the bridge. As such, they have to return again at a later date to install the bridge. This is highly unacceptable! WE cannot afford to take another day off when it was expected to have it completed and finished in ONE day. If you want a smooth experience, I recommend you to STAY AWAY!!! RC Willey DOES NOT STAND behind their products. I also have a sound bar that I bought in December and when I got it home it was broken. They refused to replace or refund my money. I'm going through my cc for help. i would never recommend this store to anyone. Bought a recliner in the clearance area. It was a previous returned product. Within 6 months the brown leather was coming off. I took pictures and went to their store to see what they would do. The customer service guy said the warranty wasn't good because I bought it in clearance. Fast forward 16 months and the chair looks like I bought it from a homeless person who slept in it. So I called their main office customer service. The representative was very understanding, but said the warranty had expired. I explained to no avail. They wouldn't do anything. RC WILLY??? How about RC gives me the willies!! So folks sit back an get ready for long sordid saga of furniture purchases from the aforementioned RC Willy store in Rocklin... We've purchased over 11 thousand $$ over this last summer, with each order there were sundry of issues. 1. Exercise equipment ( 3k$):loose and dented parts! 2. In wall double oven w/ dish washer and microwave(2.8k$): over 6 month's delivery and microwave does weird things, though I've not complained yet due to all the other stuff I keep forgetting it. 3. Bedroom set, bed frame, 2 night stand, dresser w/mirror, hi boy dresser(3k$): 4 month's delivery, missing foot stool at end of bed 4. ( the big one) Dining room table and chairs(2.7k$): 1st delivery, 2 months past order; leather on side bench all scratched up, 5 chairs all wobbly, won't sit level on floor, slide open table center piece broken!! Sooo we refused delivery of dining set, complain to customer service manager and we were assured the second delivery, if no issues and we're satisfied, they will do something special for us to assure we are satisfied ... we'll the second delivery came tonight at 6 pm.. two hours past promised deadline! The table has a large mar or scratch on side wood, we ordered three side chairs and two captain chairs.. we got five side chairs!! And one of the side chairs is missing a wooden rung! ... now we're stuck again, store closed at 7 pm salesman said management will call us tomorrow, I said I'll be there tomorrow I'm store!!! We'll see what they think is a good customer satisfaction resolution.. I'm guessing they'll offer a 50$ coupon towards our next purchase.. HA! .. I'm not going to accept anything less than 50% discount on this delivery and we'll keep the marred table with the replaced chairs! Our new GE Profile dishwasher is very good. It is extremely quiet, which we really enjoy. It has a good capacity and many useful washing cycles. The only negative aspect of our purchase is that, when using the "Dry Boost - High" drying cycle, our Corian counter top above the washer gets very hot and we were afraid of its eventual discoloration or even deterioration after repeated use of this drying cycle. The "normal" drying cycle works just fine, however, and we are satisfied with using that cycle when washing dishes. read more

Went to the South Sacramento store this past weekend looking for couches. RC Willey was the third furniture store we went to and I was worn out. But at RC Willey my wife and I were amazed by the professionalism of the staff. We were assisted by a gentlemen by the name of Donald. He was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and low pressure. Donald provided us with a very pleasant experience that made our visit to RC Willey enjoyable. Donald's great service, combined with RC Willey's fantastic prices and impressive selection definitely give Donald and RC Willey a 5 star rating from me. My shopping experience at RC Willey in Rockland with disappointing. The sales person was initially great and patient and my table and chairs were delivered to my home on July 10 however, to my surprise after delivery guys unpacked the table and chairs and laid all the pieces on my kitchen floor they didn't have the necessary hardware to put it together. they assured me the hardware would be delivered, but after contacting RC Willie the next day I found out it wouldn't be available until the following week. I received no apology or offer for immediate assistance the attitude of the customer service rep was unacceptable. R C Wiley products are high-quality but their customer service is a lot to be desired. Overall, I would rate my experience as extremely poor and sadly I cannot recommend this store to others. I am very disappointed in the customer care and service with this store. Unfortunately for the manufacturer of the piece of furniture I purchased they also will get a bad rap on this. I suggest no one buy from them, I have been waiting since May of this year (2019) to have my chair repaired, I am still waiting. It has been many calls from me. It is only a couple years old and the motor has a five year warranty which expires in 2021. I would prefer to take this piece back to their showroom and be done with them, I am tired of the excuses and turn around on this. NO MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Very disappointing the store was so nice and has a huge selection, it was our first time there. Very disappointed with the quality of the furniture. One of the dressers was broken when we opened the box. Then the armour door keeps falling off on the other piece. When I call they say I have to speak with the sales person but it's just a voicemail. we replaced a 10 year old couch set in Nov 2022. Almost immediately we noticed the new couch cushions were sinking (which by the way is the reason we replaced our old set). Got thru the holidays and called for service. Feb 2023 new cushions were ordered by service rep. Called in Mar 3023 and told 12 weeks for delivery. We continue to pay for a couch that is more uncomfortable than our prev 10 yr old couch. Letter to corporate ignored. What a piece of crap this company has turned into. Their business model is based on fraud. They hire very friendly and knowledgeable sales people who can sell you the moon and back then proceed to back them up with the worst support team around. Yes they sell mostly quality products, yes you are treated great while inside the store, yes they have great financing. What you won't find out till later is the deliveries are a pain (late, missing items, cancellations, unprofessional installers), customer support has no power and seems irritated when you call, warranty services are an absolute joke. We have never had one transaction go smoothly in the 3 different times and over $10,000 in products we have purchased from the Rocklin California location. Our latest dilemma is with the warranty service on a Samsung refrigerator that has a broken ice maker (known problem with this model). Twice I have taken off work to meet a repair man and both times they called towards the end of the meeting window to say they didn't have the proper parts to repair correctly. I was promised again that the parts are in order and they should have them next week. That will put us at exactly one month since the initial warranty request was made. This is an absolute joke. I own my own equipment repair business and have to pay someone $150 per hr to cover the time I can't be there. I could have purchased another refrigerator by the time this unit is repaired and I'm done paying the company that's covering for me. RC Willey has long tarnished its good name and we will no longer be recommending them or conducting any type of business with them. Update: 7/23/19 After 3 visits by the repairman we were advised yesterday that the ice maker was not repairable and that RC Willey would be contacting us to send out a replacement refrigerator. Today we get an email stating the "warranty will not be honored and that the damage was most likely caused using a hair dryer to try and defrost the ice maker". Not only is that untrue but the outlets near the refrigerator are non GFI which means I would be putting my self in extreme danger by doing so. I expect RC Willey to make this right!!!! I missed 3 days of work to meet with repairmen. If they showed up the first 2 times we could have been well down the road of getting this resolved. More than a month later and RC Willey's reputation is tarnished and we will be pursuing legal action against them immediately. Such a bad move on their part!!!! read more

We went with RC Willey on our LVP purchase/install. I was a bit hesitant working with a Big Box company, but they were terrific. Cody was our sales rep and he was very quick to response to all our questions. He was quick in securing installers and worked with us to make sure the days were in line with the rest of our kitchen remodel. And the installers were incredible. Their work was meticulous and they left zero mess behind. We also ended up with about $1000 of material that was not needed. RC Willey took it all back and refunded us in full. We recently replaced our hard and carpeted floors. We dealt with Adam Carmona throughout the process and are now enjoying our new floors. We wish to communicate the following experiences during the process: 1) Adam was extremely good at what he does. He patiently counseled us in choosing the flooring we wanted. 2) RC Willey offers a great selection at very competitive pricing and terms. The estimate process was clear, straightforward and easy to follow. 3) The hard floor installation crew (from Moldava) were true professionals--excellent at their craft, pleasant to be with, and very considerate, polite, and tidy. We are extremely please with their results. Special kudos to this crew and their supervisor. 4) The rug installation crew were good at their craft and also very considerate. We are very pleased with the results. We recommend RC Willey, Adam Carmona, and your installation crews and will use them all again when the need arises. We needed a new refrigerator. Our repair man said go to RC Willey they will help us . We met Stephen Pfaff at the store who was so gracious and even called our extended warranty company that deemed our refrigerator unrepairable regarding our reimbursement . The check came, we went back to Stephen who introduced us to Mark Johnson a man who knows the products he represents both pros and cons. We told him what we were looking for he showed us products that checked off most of our boxes and we chose to purchase a refrigerator from Mark, which is so different from feeling pressured to buy. It wasn't buy and the store will say bye , but Mark gave us a direct phone number to call if we needed him for any reason read more

Just purchased a $2600 recliner sectional to discover it was completely destroyed from the manufacturer. The wood inner frame that holds the springs was completely broken... really.... come on RC Whileys. Didn't even have a chance to even sit on it. Avoid this place like the black plague. My spouse feels compelled to shop there frequently. Why? I don't know. Both of us are generally discouraged by the quality and service we receive. The one exception would be appliance and TV's. The delivery is spotty at best and I've never had an appliance install that wasn't screwed up. I think they are about glad handing you until after the sale. I wouldn't do business with this outfit with a gun to my head. To sum up... if you ever wonder why you dislike sales people, this is the origin of the stereotype.
