Wanted to add more photos. Picked up a phone order for lunch. Order was perfect and mostly ready when we got there. Would recommend the fresh and warm cookies for 75¢. Delicious!

    Classic Italian Sandwich. Yum

Saw the reviews online and decided to give Rebecca's Cafe a try. We weren't disappointed. We ordered the Classic Italian and a Meatball sandwich. Plus chips and macaroni salad. Everything tasted great. Service was quick and professional. We sat inside. Definitely will be back.

Big variety on their menu so it was lunch time so I ended up choosing the turkey bacon and avocado sandwich. The ingredients are fresh just the bread is delicious however I was very disappointed to see only one very thin slice of bacon on the bottom of my sandwich I had to go back to the cashier to make sure that they gave you the rights. The avocado is plenty the turkey was plenty as well the sandwich is made very well just disappointed about the bacon cuz I could not even taste it the inside is worn tables, the staff is friendly there is some outside seating tables.

    #14 Avo Turkey Bacon

This place is a gem! Cute little sandwich shop tucked away in a plaza of offices. I ordered two subs: avocado turkey blt & tuna. Both were fresh and PACKED despite being only small's. Solid lunch spot!!

So I told myself I wouldn't write my review until after I tried their food. And I am... Called in for pick up. Super rude over the phone. I had a question to see if I could change out cheese options and add in bacon. She said "hold on". I held for about 3-4 minutes. She comes back on the phone with "do you know what you want yet?" So I just went ahead and ordered. Finished the sub order and she goes "is that it?" I wanted a salad also. So I ordered that. She asked for the pick up name and I gave it to her. Then she just goes "ok bye!" No time given for pick up or total cost or an option for me to even ask those questions. I open my salad when I get home really excited about the amazing reviews from this place so I could give them more than 1 star for customer service. Oh.. great. A hair... gross! Snapped a photo. Said ok whatever, sometimes these things just happen. ANOTHER HAIR. GROSS!!!! And my husband asks me how my harry salad is. I really hope I don't diarrhea or vomit later. I don't want to have to eat this twice.

Overrated. Got the meatball and sausage sandwich. Bread wasn't crispy, meat and sauce clearly store bought. Not worth $8.

This time we ordered the specials which come with empanada (potatoes and chorizo), mussels in some sort of "curry" like sauce, and and braised short rib with rice (you can also choose mashed potatoes instead of rice). You order at the counter, so we pay ahead. The verdict: wow. Everything was just wow. Such a great combination of food, I shared it with my bf and the whole thing was $31 before tax and tip. It was so good. The empanada was probably one of the best one in the city (the only contender is selva's empanada), the mussels were so good and the sauce too. Short rib with rice was amazing. It has more fat than meat lol but still really delicious. We brought our dog and they have a front patio with high chairs. It was a nice day so it worked out perfectly. The neighborhood is a little "sketchy" to me, this restaurant is literally surrounded by dive bars. I would imagine if they were located in downtown or 4th st, or Belmont then it would be so packed. But then maybe it would be even way more expensive. The price right now is great for what you get. Go try this place if you appreciate tasty food!

Fell apart in my mouth with just a fantastic flavor and texture, and the mushroom tacos were so on point. Not to mention the service here. Veronica was absolutely delightful. She took a lot of pride in their food, and let her talented husband has produced. You absolutely must give Black Pork a try. There are tiny little gem, that's absolutely priceless.

You walk in and you immediately are greeted by a warm person at the front desk. You walk in and the place is so chic and beautifully laid out! It is small so tables are limited. You need to make reservations in advance for a table. It overlooks the track so that was entertainment for the kids. I wouldn't say it is necessarily family friendly, especially small kids, but our kids were fine dining there. They don't have a kids menu but the chef was able to make the kids some simple things they loved - pasta and cheese!! The highlight though was the Porsche shaped butter. That was THE absolute coolest thing ever. It came in a little dish with the bread. My kids and I loved it!!! It was a really nice touch to our meal. The food was really exceptional. One of the best places I've dined in a long time - even including Michelin star restaurants!! The dishes were so beautifully and delicately prepared - we had the octopus appetizer, the homemade pasta dish, the heirloom salad and Ofocurse we couldn't pass dessert! Dessert: if you are a tiramisu lover like me you MUST try the tiramisu-choux. It's a whole different take on this Italian dessert! Overall this place was absolutely INCREDIBLE. From the ambiance, to the service, to the delicious noteworthy mouthwatering food you totally need to come here. I already want to come back next time we visit !!! If that doesn't get you pumped, not sure what else will! Highly recommend you make reservations way in advance. Looks like they also have a room for a small party of meeting. Note they are only open for lunch. Parking lot is huge. As you walk in, you are greeted to check in. If you are booked for an experience, you get a fun lanyard to wear. Visitors, you get a sticker, lol. The restaurant is on the second floor, so you can take the stairs or there is an elevator. You're greeted again at the host's station. We got there early so started off with a cocktail. We both tried the 917 Old Fashioned which was delicious and they sear the 917 and Porsche logo which was super fun! They start off with pretzel breads with cute butters shaped like Porsche cars! They do have a couple chairs in front of the host table as well as a bar area. Bathrooms are back towards the host area. Huge and clean! There is a viewing station as well that you can walk outside from this area to watch the track from the top and that did not disappoint. You can get seats inside right at the window and watch the experiences. So fast and loud! We had a great time!

Very friendly, offered good suggestions and had a general good vibe about them. I am so bad at getting their names. I only remember Joseph and he was cool but our table was handed over to another waitress shortly after arrival and I don't remember her name but she was great. I'm super indecisive, especially with massive menus - Cheesecake Factory is a nightmare - but The Pan had a great variety so it made the choice a bit difficult. I saw they had a cuban sandwich and I froth at the mouth for these but I was convinced to try the loaded hashbrowns. We actually got into a little conversation about the miscommunication between restaurants and customers sometimes because everyone's definition of hashbrown is different. Are they the McDonalds oval shaped golden discs or the shredded and pancake-style flat things? OR are they those weird onion and pepper potatoes that some people call hashbrowns even though they are home fries BUT they're not even fried, they're sauteed so clearly having an identity crisis but anyway... The Pan's loaded hashbrowns are.... the shredded kind! :D Wow, if someone actually broke through my review and read my potato rant... I'm buying you breakfast here... Limit $20 :) Anyway... couldn't help but order my plate with a guava pancake as I've never heard of that before and tried stepping a little out of my comfort zone and trying something a bit different. Was very yummy, although I have my eye on the banana pancakes for next time. Glaze was a little runnier than expected, although I did take a minute to dive into the pancake as I was preoccupied by the hashbrowns - delicious by the way. Hashbrowns came loaded with: cheese, green onion, chopped pieces of bacon (thick kind, not bacon bits!) and diced sausage (turkey sausage is an option, so I'll def opt for that next time). Dish was nicely seasoned, no overpowering spices or unnecessary aiolis - wait, actually it did come with a chili aioli but it was more like a spicy mayo and it was not spicy, so it's a good dish for anyone to enjoy. Only thing was it arrived a bit cold; cheese wasn't thoroughly melted but the flavors compensated for that easily so it wasn't really a bother at all. Dish also lacked grease and for it being absolutely covered in cheese, bacon, and sausage, I was happier than heck that there were no grease pools. Service was good, although they lagged a bit with refills - they get insanely busy though so I get it. Again, they compensated with good vibes, suggestions, overall interactions so I wouldn't worry about a lack of attention here. I would probably not advise against ordering the guava pancake; however, it wasn't anything incredibly special so I'd opt for a different flavor if going the pancake route. I'll be back soon - need to try out that Cuban sandwich and get the name of our waitress! Thanks for having us, was a lovely experience.

I'm not sure if it's always that lively on Friday nights, but it was the weekend of Warped Tour, so there was a lot of music and energy. If you're looking for a quieter meal, this may not be the best night to visit. The food itself was good, but the wait was much longer than expected. We waited almost 40 minutes for our order. Unfortunately, my burger was also made incorrectly. I ordered the Bacon Bleu Burger but was served a different burger instead. Not quite sure what it was, but it had mushrooms and American cheese. Since we had already waited so long, I decided to just eat it rather than send it back. The burgers were flavorful, but they were smaller than I expected for the price, and they don't come with fries. To round out my meal, I ordered the poutine fries. They were decent. The fries were nice and crispy, which I appreciated. My husband ordered the Burger Don Chendo, and that ended up being the standout of the night. I usually don't like spicy food, but this burger had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but between the long wait, the incorrect order, and the portion size for the price, the experience was a bit hit-or-miss. I'd be willing to give them another try, especially for the Don Chendo burger, but I'm hoping for a smoother experience next time.
