Not sure how this place has its rating. My husband and I visited on Sunday afternoon after a trip to oak glen. The food was ok. The fries are obviously generic frozen fries and not that great. The best part of the meal was my burger. The meat was pretty good. Let's get to the service part which was lacking. First, we waited at the host stand for about 5 mins to be greeted. Not a huge deal they looked busy. After we sat down and ordered our drinks and food. The server was nice enough. Our food came out in a good amount of time. I'd say about 15 minutes. However our drinks never came. We didn't even the water we asked for when we sat down. There we are sitting with our food and no drink. My husband also noticed that he had no silverware for the chilaquiles he ordered. Our server was no where to be found. So he had to go track someone down just to get a fork. When he came back we still had no drinks. So we start eating our food. As we were almost done we finally get our drinks. I asked if we can still get some water and that was another wait. I don't think it is acceptable in any restaurant to have to track down silverware and already be just about done with your meal to get a drink order or water. read more

The appetizer was very tasty and the bartender was great and kept checking on us and even asked us if there was something else we wanted to watch on the bar tv and then turned it to the Football game my husband wanted to watch. Alerted by Yelp to this relatively new restaurant, Diane and I decided to venture here and sample some of its offerings for ourselves. We liked what we tried. While Diane enjoyed a nicely balanced French Dip and well-seasoned French Fries, I began with Rebels Nachos. This app included a good amount of avocado and queso to pick up with homemade Potato Chips. The concoction was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. Then I followed my starter with a 1/2-pound Rebel Burger cooked medium. After a request for a medium-rare burger, I was told that "medium" was the least cooked meat that the restaurant was willing to provide. Snce many restaurants won't cook hamburgers rarer than medium well, this was acceptable to me. The burger with two smashed beef patties, several onions, a melting slice of American Cheese, and a secret orange-colored sauce on a soft brioche bun was tasty with ketchup and yellow mustard added by me. And accompanying Tater Tots were a fine harmonizing side. The dining room was cavernous, with several open seats available even on a night when an NFL Monday Night Football game was playing on nine large television screens. Well, we waited 8 months since my last 2 star review and have this place a try. This time on Father's Day. The Cowboy brisket burger or whatever it was called was great. Unfortunately the service is still absolutely stand out garbage. We were seated and no one acknowledged us for more than 10 minutes and it wasn't even busy, as it was around 2pm. "Valerie" came by and asked if we wanted water and we told her we were ready to give her our entire order and she said "no, I'll get you drink order and then I'll be back in a little bit to get your food order". She did take out appetizer order. Hmmmm, okay. So that killed another 15 minutes. When she came back to take our food order we asked for place settings. She came back with napkins. That's it. The wife's salad (her entree) and our youngest son's food before everything else's. We had no silverware, so that sat for another 5 minutes until I whistled at a nearby waiter to get us some. Food came out and like I said, the burgers were good. We didn't see Valerie much after that until we flagged her down for the bill. The space doesn't have much of an identity, except for the bathrooms--go, even if you don't have to--and the Rebel wall. (Mugshots of Morrison and Sinatra!) The jalapeño burger had good flavor and heat. Solid fries and tots. The wedge salad with chicken gets a thumbs up. And a passable fish and chips. If you're looking for a decent IPA, avoid the Brewery X options. You'll for sure be disappointed. We'll see what happens a few months down the road. read more

I live in Yucaipa and its my first time here and I really enjoyed the experience thanks to Kendall he was friendly, the other bartender was nice also but I didnt catch her name. the food was excellent, I ordered the home made pot pie and my girl ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich. They did take a bit on the food but it tasted fresh so im definitely coming back . Drinks are priced fairly and I believe they have a brunch on Sundays. read more

Five of us had Brunch at Rebels for the first time on Sunday and it was excellent. The Brunch menu is limited but has a good selection. Our server was Kat and she was fantastic. She was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel like special guests and not just customers. She was helpful when it came to selecting our food and attentive throughout our meal. It was obvious that this is not just a job for her but something that she enjoys doing and interacting with the guests. Each of us really enjoyed the food that we selected and would definitely order it again. The homemade Chorizo was excellent and there were raves about the beef dip sandwich, sliders and breakfast burrito. If there was a negative, it was a combination of the street noise with the roll-up doors open, and especially the tv sound which was entirely too loud for the amount of people in the restaurant early in morning. I love this gem! It's not only one of the best customer services, but also the food! My goodness, that food was amazing! To drink, I ordered the espresso martini, which was so smooth and flavorful, and the perfect drink. I also ordered a beer, which was crisp and light but full of flavor. We also ordered the sliders with tots and sides of ranch. The sliders were so good that I didn't even remove the grilled onions because they went so well with the burger, and I normally hate onions! The tots were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The burgers were like mini smashed, and they were so good. I also ordered some wings, and they were big! The size of the wings was perfect, and the flavor was amazing. It was my birthday at the time, and so I ordered the cookie skillet, and although it might've been cooked a little too long, it was still so good. I normally like very soft, and don't get me wrong, it was soft all in the middle, but the edges were a little harder. Well I don't know where these high reviews are coming from. Got 2 stars for service and friendly. The food not very good. Burgers looked about as thick as a basic burger from a fast food joint. So I ordered a French dip with onion rings. I asked if I could get it rare and was told no problem. Well look at pic I would say medium Well at best. Supposed to be prime rib but looked more like dried beef. Au jus can you say slaty. Wow so salty must have an ounce of salt in the dip. Onion rings decent but no all stars here. Had a couple draft beers good but nothing impressive. So if you want mediocre food and average beer definitely come on in. Will I be back no way if a Taco Bell is in reach. read more
