I'd give this place a 3.5 but that isn't bad. It's just a little pricey and the service did take a bit but it wasn't bad service they may have just been busy. Overall the portions were large too! The side salad was tiny and the cinnamon bites. Also if you want a doughnut flavor it's more like a fried flavor bite which isn't my favorite thing. The outside was kind of packed for parking but the inside was so clean. The people who helped us were friendly and willing to answer our questions. Don't let the three piece combo fool you, it's actually very filling. The chicken fingers are juicy on the inside and just the right amount of crunchy coating on the outside. They offer a great variety of sauces to make it sticky. I had the Utah honey ginger sauce and that was pretty good :) The combo includes Cole slaw, well seasoned French fries, and two cake pops. You totally had me at cinnamon! So fresh and perfectly sized. The service is great, they go out of their way to get your order right and I really appreciate that. I got the three piece chicken strip combo meal minus the slaw. I really wish there was a vinegar option for the slaw....right now it's all mayonnaise based. We were impressed to find the mission of Red Barn Farms is so well communicated through the videos, photos and positive-affirmation Post-Its among the restaurant's decor. It was welcoming to find a clean atmosphere, and also that after ordering (and asking under what name to list our order) they instead brought our meals to our table; and made sure we had the sauces and dressings we wanted. They were doing so for all customers eating on-site, too. What a friendly touch for a fast casual restaurant! That they serve meals eaten on-site in real dishes makes it feel like you are getting service a touch more elevated than one would expect for this grade of food, too. Thanks, Sticky Bird! The stripped-down menu still has more choices than other popular local Chicken fast-food places like Chick-Fil-A and Raising Cane's: with options of chop salad and tacos among the sandwiches, drumsticks and chicken tenders choices. Several choices of sauces and dry rub flavors, too! And all for around $10 a meal, give or take: a very fair value. My sister-in-law was happy that besides tasting good, the chop salad has an option to add-on Buffalo-style fried cauliflower rather than meat for the same cost. My wife and I got the Nashville Pounder sandwich combos: the aioli sauce was pleasantly spicy enough (though more spicy options are available); the seasoned fries more well-seasoned than one usually finds; the Original Amazing house fry sauce a delicious spiced white sauce-style; and the combo portions filling for the price--including the included snack of two cinnamon cake bites. The only slight complaint is that the sitting booths are a little snug for tall persons. And our sandwiches were a touch dry because our chicken breast portions were a bit overcooked, and the slaw on the sandwich a little under portioned to help make up for it. Pickles (served on the side) were quite small. Yet flavor was delicious and the onion straws an excellent texture--crunchy enough but still a little soft. My husband loves this place so I wanted to come and see what the hype was about. We ordered the sticky bird chicken fingers combo and the sticky fingers chopped chicken salad. Both were so good! The chicken was seasoned perfectly and we loved the sauce on there. I really loved the salad too, which surprised me. The ingredients were fresh and the chicken tasted great. We also tried the dole whip which was great. It is a semi fast food place but I thought it was really excellent. The garlic fries were seasoned perfectly as well and we really loved those too. We all thought the chicken here was much better than Raising Cane's even, and my daughters and I all commented on how we will definitely be making this a regular stop. Wow!! One of our top meals while in SLC. I was a little worried at first that you could only get the chicken grilled to be GF but they assured me they had GF batter and could make it safely for me. The chicken is crispy on the outside but moist and tender inside. The flavor of the sauce is so good. The fries are perfectly crisped. I love what the company does for people in recovery. The food was so good but for us the star of the show was the garlic fries! Best garlic fries in Utah! The many seasoning options for the chicken definitely makes it a unique experience. The cake balls are more like churro balls and are best eaten hot and fresh. I highly recommend getting the dole shake with coconut, it tasted like a piña colada. I'll be honest and tell you we had no idea about their mission to help people with addiction problems. We had no idea what we were even going to be eating outside of it looked like chicken. We were driving from SLC up to Yellowstone (sidebar: LUCKY! We were there the week before the floods) and were so hungry. We fired up Yelp and randomly selected this place based on good reviews. We were starving. When we pulled up... well... we weren't sure what it was. It was this big red barn with a drive-thru that had a line about 20 cars deep. This made us happy because it was blowing the doors off the McBurger next door, so maybe it was great? It was. My wife had the sticky bird (chicken fingers) combo and I had the Tennessee legs (full-sized chicken drums). We both loved our food. I will say the sauces weren't quite up our alley... but you can't win them all. We tried the Amazing, the Creamy Amazing, the Double Barrel BBQ, and the Rebel Fire sauces and didn't care for any of them. I love heat and the Rebel just didn't cut it. The BBQ was the best of them. The sauces were a side item and the rest of the meal was great. We were stuffed and it held us over until dinner in Jackson, WY. I'd eat here in a heartbeat. You should stop by. We found Sticky bird by accident because it is located close to my mother in-law. It is our new favorite place for amazing food. I'll start with the chicken tenders, The breading is perfectly seasoned and the chicken is tender and juicy. The sauces we have tried are all very delicious. The sandwich is very large and can easily be enjoyed by two people. The fries are delicious and always hot when served. They give you 2 cinnamon balls for desert, which is a nice touch. The service is very very friendly. We have dined in, and used the drive through. You will wait just a little longer than fast food. But everything is made to your specifications. The sticky fingers tossed in the rebel fire sauce and the buffalo cauliflower were our favorite items on the menu. The rebel fire is definitely not hot. It has an amazing flavor with a tiny kick of heat at the end. The buffalo cauliflower has a great flavor as well and a good texture (they had a little crunch to them which was awesome). We (my boyfriend and I) felt like the ranch, even though it was delicious, overpowered the flavor. These were great without it. The man taking my order and the one who handed me my food were both so helpful and friendly and professional. It really makes my day to have great service anywhere but especially in a drive through when it's such a limited and quick interaction! Also just an FYI for all the utah soda lovers out there... they have good ice and flavor syrups and skinny straws (my fav)! So get your drink fix here-- the closest soda shop with a drive through is the next city over in both directions! So this is good to know!
