We stumbled upon it by accident because originally, we planned to go to Tara Thai, but my husband missed it and we found ourselves in front of this place. We walked in, the smell was amazing. The wait was only 20 minutes. The food was insane, everyone commented how this was literally the best Chinese food we ever had. While out with our large extended family we couldn't find many places open late enough willing to serve us; that is until we walked into Red Chopsticks tonight. While the location is pretty small they made it work the best they could so we could be close together. Service was phenomenal from the time we opened the door and were greeted. That service carried over with our waiter who was friendly, smiled and interacted so well with us all. He was patient and we never had to ask for refills etc. the menu has so many great options and we all were able to find something we would enjoy. A couple of us shared the wor wonton soup large portion. When I tell you it was delicious that's an understatement. So full of yummy shrimp, mushrooms and of course wontons. The Portion was more than enough to share, but I could've easily eaten the large portion as a meal alone. SO GOOD! As the entree I had the Happy Family with fried rice. Definitely a smaller portion for the price, but again so good! If looking to share I'd say order an appetizer too. Others in our group ordered beef and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, egg drop soup, and something else I can't remember. There were practically no left overs. We've been coming to Sedona for decades multiple times a year and can't believe we had never been until tonight. I'm already counting down the days until our next visit. Very decent Chinese food in Sedona. Was skeptical but their ingredients were fresh, it was not super greasy, and the seasoning was perfect.

Great lunch specials. Fried tofu entrees are outstanding (favorite is Kung Pao Tofu). Shrimp are pretty good too. Comes with a bowl of soup and a couple fried apps. Easily worth $14 or less they charge. Their dinner and holiday meals are slightly less of a great value, but still fine if that's what you are craving. It's a bit crowded in the interior with all the pots they sell from China. I think they could de-clutter a bit. Staff are friendly and efficient. It's a great lunch in a nice setting. What a hidden little gem, right outside of Sedona, AZ! We were on a mini vacation, and had our small dog with us; and were in the mood for takeout. My timeshare in Sedona has a fully equipped kitchen, with dish washer, plates, cutlery, so why not just dine in for one night? I found RC on Yelp & called the restaurant directly for pick-up order. We opted for the braised tofu with vegetables. My husband ordered the Mongolian beef, spicy. We were hungry, so we decided on the appetizers sampler. To my surprise, the BBQ pork was delicious & flavorful. It was unique, since it was super lean & didn't have the unnatural red coloring like you see in typical Chinese restaurants. Of the big three criteria: food had a number if interesting selections, service was prompt and friendly, and an ambiance much more than just a place to have Chinese. Hi, I did take out here 3 nights in a row because they are so nice and friendly. Sometimes when you've been driving all day, you don't want to get in the car again and go look for food. Sedona has weird hours sometimes and restaurants close pretty early! Red Chopstick is located right next to my usual hotel in Sedona and it's so easy to walk over there to pick up something to go and enjoy my meal at the room with my pug. It's generously portioned, delicious and not overly salty. It's standard Americanized Chinese food but that beef lo mein and shrimp fried rice hits the spot after a long driving or hiking day.
