I came in with such high expectations and a real craving for Indo-Chinese food. Sadly, we left disappointed. What was good was their chili chicken (fried), chicken momo's, and masala soda. The hakka noodles were flavorless. We ordered two fried rice - regular and burnt garlic - which tasted the same. This is the first time I've ever ordered cauliflower manchurian (which I order every time it's on a menu) that came in a brownish gravy. It seems like they have a batch of the three gravies that they just add your choice of protein to it. Everything is served in to-go containers, which I don't mind - easy pack up if you have leftovers. Problem is that they don't serve them in the proper containers. The rice and noodles were in the long/tall containers and were hard to serve. The entrees had all the protein at the bottom. Everything comes out hot but the plastic containers don't hold up to the heat and are difficult to handle. After being seated, we had to wait to order and were told that even though a party came in after us, they'd take their order first since they're smaller - fine, but at least get our drink orders. read more

The best in town Indian restaurant, the service is great and the food is exceptionally good, especially mutton biriyani, chicken malai kabobs, stuffed naan, chicken tikka masala, corn soup, chicken drumsticks. It is reasonably priced and affordable during lunch or dinner. Would highly recommended this to my friends and family!!! read more

We came for the dinner and everything was going good till the appetizer. . But when the main course arrived Garlic naan was cold , and they forgot to get us the bullet naan. When we ask the server the naan is cold. He said kitchen is close and the chef left. We can only server your complimentary rice. ( the reason we didn't order rice , because we don't eat rice ) Then the server came back and said , we can provide only paratha if u like to. We said okay please get it. So my question is , if the chef left , how come he can get us the paratha. And the paratha was frozen paratha. That was not even layered paratha. I have my own restaurant. So I know what which are fresh paratha and which are not. Just to inform you guys naan takes less time to cook , comparing to paratha and they brought us that paratha in a quick time. The edge of as also not even cook well. Our check was 126 $ they should have compensate something. But nothing came from their side. It's just waste of my money. Our server had cold or allergies but definitely has runny nose, maybe she can work on behind the scenes? Some of the items we ordered were not even warm, perhaps they were waiting to get the entire order ready before serving? Great food okay service We walked in with a table of four and were seated almost immediately. The rest of the people in my party had already visited the establishment so I let them order. We got the chicken 65, fried rice, and chow mein. After ordering, we were waiting about 15-20 minutes before our food came. Even when it came, the food did not taste hot or fresh. While the flavors were plentiful and spicy, it definitely felt that the food was laying around for a while. Sad to say that I won't be returning. read more

Food was really sub-par in quality/taste and some items sucked to the core. We ordered bunch of vegetarian dishes and only two of them turned out to be reasonable (veg munchaw soup & cauliflower manchurian). What was even more baffling is there so called ONE- TIME use of ALL PLASTIC cutleries. Every item was served in a plastic cutleries, including water provided in a water bottle. They have been using this so called ideology for past one year in the name of COVID. Not that I know much about how restaurants business work behind the scene but getting good hygiene is not a big problem to help avoid/minimize germ spread like other restaurants do. Being in deep shock from their plastic usage, we gently asked the main guy at the counter about it. We got even further shocked from his reply. As per him, they are using recyclable and biodegradable plastic. However packaging clearly had listed plastic type as Polypropylene - which isn't recyclable. Plus, depending upon how these waste is handled by waste management company, no guarantee on all of their waste successfully going through recycling if for a second we assume they are using recyclable plastic. Atleast for one last year, each table they have served they have been using one time use plastic! Imagine amount of waste they have created thus far! :x Look at the attached photo for the review to get bit of an idea on all plastic cutlery! I have eaten Indian-styled Chinese food at various Indian restaurants and have never previously liked the cuisine. I have heard people errantly call this type of food, IndoChinese but that phrase means a whole other something else for those that can cite the French colonization of Indochina, the area that is now from Vietnam to Laos. This fusion cuisine supposedly came about due to the migration of Hakka Chinese people who practically immigrated everywhere back in the day. The ones who ended up in India adapted to their environment and thus born this cuisine. With the amusing RHCP name, I notice that the customers were mostly Indian while the staff were mostly Western and Chinese people. I was curious then to try this kind of food from what I assume are actual Hakkas. What I tasted was just really spicy Chinese food that I simply enjoyed from the dry tofu that seemed like it was deep fried; much better than any salt & pepper tofu dish I had. The Hakka noodles were also delicious; basically stir fried rice vermicelli with vegetables. I enjoyed the food and so did all of the Indian patrons that surrounded me. Some things I didn't like so much. The kitchen was slow but I assume that's because of the Friday crowd and I would rather have a dish come out when it was ready rather than too soon. However, it shouldn't take 15 minutes to prepare the small ginger cheesecake for me. It doesn't take that much time to garnish the cake that came out of a fridge. The other thing was the awkwardness of children running around the bar area and creating a ruckus. Their parents should be supplying some old school Russell Peters discipline. read more

This is probably my favorite Asian fusion restaurant. The service was amazing, ambiance was very cool, and it was in a good location. My brother (10 years old) loved the Hakka Noodles and he is usually a really picky child! We ordered everything vegetarian and with very low spiciness. The Vegetarian Hakka Noodles were great, but a little dry. The fried rice was also very good and very filling, just could've used more vegetables. The stir fry tofu plate was great except the serving size was just a tad too small. For dessert we got the chocolate mousse and the decorations were DIVINE. It was covered in gold dust with chocolate shavings and chocolate/caramel drizzle on the side. The mousse itself was super smooth and a great size to share for 2-3 people. Overall, for being open for just 2 weeks, I think this place is going to be a great success. Can't wait to come here again! read more

This is the second time we had food from this restaurant. The first time was before COVID and we dined in and this time around we got food delivered. The food served is what is called "Indo Chinese" a fusion cuisine primarily from Calcutta where people from China settled over a century ago and the traditional Chinese cuisine was adapted to Indian flavors. The good thing about the food was that the quantity however the flavor were subtle. The Schezwan Fried Rice was more tangy than hot and the Hakka noodles were cooked well but was a bit bland. read more

The one thing I loved about this place was their molten chocolate dessert with vanilla ice cream. The combination of warm and cold and ooey gooey chocolate won me over in a heartbeat! For the main course, my hubby and I ordered hot and sour soup, schezwan fried rice, and curry rice noodles. The main course was okay and lacked in flavour in my opinion. The soup was good. Really good Indo/East Asian fusion food. I have had the buffet before and didn't like it much at the time. But ordering from the dinner menu is the way to go. Their Manchurian cauliflower is amazing, I never thought that vegetable could taste so good. My other go to's are their Calcutta chicken, fish in spicy sauce, and any of the shrimp entrees. The service is good. All the entrees are decent portion size, easily could share between 2-3 people. My first time at an indo-Chinese place and it was very tasty. Was craving Indo- Chinese and this place popped up on Yelp. I saved it on my must visit list, just happened to be in the area today. The host at the restaurant was very helpful and friendly. When I told him this is my first visit, he told me about their popular dishes he expedited my order. While we were waiting for our food he even gave us bottled water, truly made us feel welcomed. Loved it! Exceptionally well prepared dishes. I have longed for Calcutta Chinese food for ages and this one is extremely close to the mark. I wish I could go there every other day but it's a little far from where I stay. We had the shelled crab appetizer, so good! And stir fry lamb was okay too, but too shredded and too fried that you can't make out the lamb. For main course, we had the chicken in Manchurian gravy and chicken hakka noodles, both mind blowing good! I was taken back to olden days, to the Chinese restaurants in East of India, especially Kolkata! As I licked the fork the last time, I had decided on being back the next weekend. And so I did! Last Saturday, we were back! More Hakka noodles and more Calcutta Chicken!! We're going to be back next weekend too, to try few more dishes. It's definitely a love affair! They attend to your every need, the right kind of table, to explaining the dishes to recommending great options. We felt great just being there! Great deco, five star service from start to finish, pricing is perfect and the chefs' do an amazing job. They deserve this golden review! It was $13.99. This is competitive with other buffets in the area and I believe the quality is higher. On the weekend, the buffest is $14.99, but on Monday - Thursday, it's only $10.99! 4.5 stars Food: I have no idea what authentic Indo-Chinese food is supposed to taste like, however, I do know that this place tastes really, really good. If you like spicy food, definitely give this place a try as their food has the perfect amount of it. That, and as mentioned above, the quality is higher than your normal buffet. No cold items, everything fresh, and no questionable cuts of meat with a lot of batter. I've tried other Indo-Chinese places in the area, but after one visit, this place became my instant favorite. We ordered Hakka noodles, vegetable coins, spring rolls, spicy fried rice, chocolate mousse cake, and some sort of raspberry dessert. Our food came out suspiciously fast, so I wonder if it was just reheated. The food was either watery or spiceless for most of the people in our party. Hands down the best part of dinner was the chocolate mousse cake (although I have never had bad chocolate mousse)!! Positives: our waitress was very attentive and sweet. My friend wanted the cheesecake and that night it was sold out, so she let her have another dessert of her choice on the house! The interior of the restaurant is modern, chic, and spacious. We ate on Saturday night, and it seemed like every Indian in Dallas was there, which is a good sign. Overall: I would never come back here again, because the food was just way too bland and average. Received confirmation of my order. 3 Chicken Kadhai Regular $12.99 ea. Medium spice with gravy Boneless Sub-total: $38.97 Taxes: $3.22 Total: $42.19 Went to pick my order at 7pm and the front desk gentleman said we made Chicken Biryani instead of Kadhai chicken. Now we have guests waiting at home and he asked us to wait for 10 - 15 min. Finally after 15 min we received our order. It was half cooked gravy (probably rushed so not cooked well). The packing was bad and oil spilled on car seat as all the lids were not closed properly. Not sure how difficult it is to follow the order (placed online). Last time, they messed up my order by giving my order to a wrong person and made us wait 20 minutes. RHP have to step up their game...... read more
