Unpleasant customer service !!! The staff is unprofessional and rude. I had a catering order placed one day in advance. The order was not ready on time and was 40 min late. I am more upset with the behavior of the staff rather than the order being late. The person was so hostile that he was counter questioning me, that do you have any solution to make it quicker when asked why it is so late? Review based on vegetarian order. New Indo-Chinese place and has vast vegetarian options to choose from. Ordered chilli garlic noodles and from big plates ordered corn & potato in hot garlic sauce. Both were delicious and made perfect to our customized suggestions. However, with a big plate we were expecting it to be served with a bowl of rice but that we had to order separate. Our server Ian M was helpful and hospitable and apologized for being late and not attending us immediately. Rated 1 star less because initially we were suppose to order different items but both were not available (vegetable momos and red hot soft noodles). We were ecstatic to see the huge listing of vegetarian plates, with all kinds of varieties of ingredients and flavors. We had the salt and pepper mushrooms, the chili potatoes, and the tofu lettuce cups. They were all delicious. They were spicy, so for someone who is sensitive to spice, pay attention to the menu description and I'd also recommend letting the waiter or waitress know so they can tell the chefs. We have tried this place several times since they have opened, their menu is so diverse that we try and eat something everytime. 1 or 2 times we have ordered wrong, so the dish was maybe not to our liking, but that is likely to happen when you have so many choices and even then, the dishes were still good! But overwhelmingly we have loved everything we've ordered. The service is great, they are very helpful when you have questions about certain dishes. When you request something spicy they actually make it spicy, I find most places do not do that. I love this restaurant. My wife and I come here when we are craving delicious noodles. They serve a mix of Indian and Chinese food and every time we go it has been great. We love the Haca Noodles, the firecracker chicken, the garlic naan is amazing and the vegetables are also delicious. We had a problem one time and we called and they immediately fixed it. They have all safety and precautionary measures in place for COVID which makes customers comfortable. My favorites here are the Dry Cauliflower Manchurian, Pan Fried Chili Tofu/Paneer, Schezwan Fried Rice, Egg Wrapped Veg Fried Rice, Potatoes and Corn in Hot Sauce, Molten Lava Cake, Brownie with Ice cream and many others. We were regular customers before the pandemic and had always been so appreciative of their professional and extremely hospitable staff. But they have notched that to a whole level above during the pandemic! We were hooked to their buffet but have been raving their ala carte as well. Their Indo Chinese is always fresh and exactly like what you get back in India. Their recent addition to the Indian menu has an amazing variety and authentic to the T. You cant go wrong with them. Not only the food but their Service supersedes any Indian restaurant in the area. Both Ashish and Tito are not only prompt but they understand every ingredient used in all their dishes in the menu and go beyond expectation when it comes to service. tl:dr Avoid this place -- the hype is just that...hype. Small portions, no flavor, expensive We ordered take out from here 2 weeks ago and were seriously disappointed on so many levels: 1 - we called the order in, and 3 of the items on the online menu were said to be unavailable by the phone rep 2 - almost every dish had no flavor, it was ridiculous. We even asked for extra spicy and, not only did the food have no spice, it had literally no flavor. 3 - the portions were tiny. It was embarrassing as we had another person over and they were like um, you sure this is gonna be enough. Turned out it was enough bc no one ate the food as it had no flavor. We ordered: - Crispy chili potato ($9): 3.5/5 it was the only thing that had flavor, but not crispy as described - Veg fried rice ($12): 1/5 no flavor, no spice, just plain bad - Chili garlic noodles ($13): 1/5 it was oily and, again, just tasted bland - Hakka noodles ($13): same as above, bland On top of the bland food, the portions were tiny. There are MUCH better options around here. I think the hype is just bc the decor is nice. But, at these prices and portion sizes, it's clear the customer's paying for that decor and lease cost.
