I don't normally review big chains. One because I don't typically go to them and two because I feel almost all chains are are just ok with their food. I love living in Burleson it's a perfect location. We've got that country feel but close to the big city. The only thing I don't like is not having a decent seafood restaurant close to us. We decided to give Red Lobster a try one night for a date night. It was awful. We started with mussels appetizer before we ordered our entree's. I'm surprised I didn't get sick. They were super "fishy". We decided not to order to order entree's. The manager did come over and told us he was just recently given this location and hopes to make a lot of changes. My problem is it's a massive chain so what changes could possibly happen to this specific location to make it edible to me. I think I'll just drive an extra 20 minutes to Fort Worth for some amazing seafood. read more

Meh. Server was great, great 50's music. Order a $15.00 combo and a cup of clam chowder. Over priced for the combo plate. The scampi cream sauce tasted very lemony. The fried shrimp was good and the other dish was unforgettable. Literally I have forgotten what the third entree was! Combo came with salad which was nice and cold but no other side (potato. My husband took me on a dinch date to any place I wanted and it had been a while since we had gone ro Red Lobster in Fort Worth so we decide to go by the one closer to us which is in Burelson region. We went to this Red Lobster last night and it is by far the WORST one I have ever been too and I will never go again. I paid $50 for the wood grilled fish that was extremely bland no seasoning at all. My wife got a steak that was also very bland and the broccoli was awful. Spectacularly bad food. It would seem the deep fryer wasnt up to the task as everything fried arrived soggy and luke warm. The wood grilled shrimp was the only bright spot of the meal. What they did to that poor asparagus was unspeakable. And did I mention the flies? Luckily we were seated near another group who were friendly with our wait staff and we got to hear all about the slow traffic in the restaurant, poor training, etc...but they were all wondering why there weren't more customers. I came in with a large group for my birthday and the service was good and fairly quick. My food was good but a few of my table mates had complaints about the pasta. The reason I gave only 4 stars was because the location was pretty messy. There was trash on the floor from the second I walked in. Walked in today, Sunday, about 15-20 minutes before five. They were in no way, shape, or form busy with only a few diners visible from the podium. Not one, but two different servers came to the podium, looked at the chart or something else inside and WALKED AWAY. There was absolutely no eye contact or acknowledgment of my presence. While I may have been wearing a camo button down shirt, I'm 6' tall, 225 pounds, so I'm not exactly what you could call invisible. I gave one star only because something smelled really good. I love eating at Red Lobster due to their yummy goodness of biscuits but service also plays a great part in my return! Upon arriving to this location, there were MANY empty tables but despite that, there was a 10-15 minute wait. Their excuse was that tables needed to be cleaned. Potentially they were understaffed? Not certain but it wasn't a great first impression walking in to a nearly empty restaurant and being told we needed to wait 10-15 minutes. After finally being seated, service was even slower. Went for my daughters bday on Jan 5th. Not to busy, got right seated. Was a 6 top table.. Took our drink order and went down hill from their. Overall, I give RL a 3, but the food would be a 2 at best. My gf got a lobster loaded baked potato, and it barely had a tablespoon worth of lobster. Laura J went above and beyond expectations as our server. Having my level of disabilities I find it difficult to walk any distance and she helped me get to and from the restroom. Also, never having a cooked live lobster I didn't know the first thing about getting the meat out of the shells and she cracked and extracted the meat and showed me how. May family and I decided to dine at the Red Lobster in Burleson, Texas on August 10, 2019. I somehow knew that the dining experience would be problematic when we arrived at 4:50 PM. There were four parties waited to be seated and the restaurant was about 20 percent full. We were seated in the bar. I asked the hostess why the bar. She responded by informing me that her computer told her to seat us there. We ordered appetizers and drinks which were served promptly. Our dinner order was another story. We waited and waited and after 50 minutes we told our server that if it was ever going to be finished to package it to go. The manager came to our table and offered no apologies. Just waited close to an hour for sub par food. I wasnt offered and didn't receive the addictive biscuits until about 35 minutes after I was seated. I had 2 drinks soup and an entree and spent almost an hour and a half here. The food isn't that great and the service/kitchen is slow. The soup I ordered came about about 30 minutes after I ordered around the same time my biscuits came out. Pitiful The absolute worst experience ever at Red Lobster. Beside the SUPER SLOW service, 2 hours worth, never received appetizer, never received my baked potato but, the Nashville Hot shrimp reorders changed on the Endless Shrimp. The original batch was outstanding, nice spice, great taste. Then the shrimp got bigger (Good thing) but the spice disappeared and it became real sweet. Really had to choke down the last 2 refills. Speaking of refills, got confused on what had been ordered because we never received our full reorder. In fact, I believe at times we received random reorders. I've never figured out why RL is my wife's favorite but, after last night she'll be hard pressed to get me back in there. Upon our visit today we were told that it would be a 20 minute wait. We ended up waiting 45 minutes. Over 75% of the resturaunt was not being used. I heard a waitress state that they were understaffed, only three waitresses available. We finally got a table and the service was extremely slow. The quality of the food was not good as you would expect for the price paid. I will never visit this particular Red Lobster again. read more

Went in about 6pm for dinner, so dinner rush had not really started. Took about 10 minutes to get two draft beers, because server said the bartender was backed up... we had another beer each and ordered it about 10 minutes before we actually wanted it and that was a good move. It seems like the bartender might have been taking care of bar customers to ensure tips and everyone else could just wait until he/she had a free minute. If it takes 10 or 15 minutes to get a draft beer, you need more bar help. We had a couple dozen oysters - their shucker needs to learn how to shuck without leaving pieces of shell in pretty much every. single. oyster. We bit into each one carefully to avoid cutting our mouth or breaking a tooth. Beyond that, it's hard to mess up a raw oyster, so those tasted fine. We got the shrimp trio and captains platter (I think it's called). Shrimp linguini was absolutely horrible. Shrimp scampi was pretty subpar. The fried shrimp and fried fish were the only things that were good. We got biscuits shortly before our entrees came out (30 minutes into our dinner probably). Those were undercooked and doughy. We couldn't even eat them, and that's a shame since those alone will usually take you to Red Lobster. The server at the table next to us turned his table twice while we were there. Both times there was obviously a problem with their food that he was working on correcting. We also saw the manager visiting another table that was clearly having issues with someone's meal. I still like Red Lobster, but this location needs to look at the quality of the food they are sending out, and the amount of time it takes to get anything from the bar. Our server took good care of us for what she must have been having to deal with there. We won't go back to this location. We basically spent $100 on 4 beers, 2 dozen oysters, and fried shrimp. I don't go to Red Lobster expecting Eddie V's, but this was pretty bad, even for a chain. read more

Let me preface this by saying this was early in the endless shrimp period this year, but this was the worst experience all around. The waitress managed to get our drink orders fairly quickly. That was the last quick thing of the night. It took 10 minutes to get the waters and tea, and another 12 to get the beer and mixed drink. 40 minutes after we ordered we finally get our salads and soggy rolls. Salads came with tomato even though I said no tomato. She made the excuse that she'd had to wash the dishes herself because they were out of clean salad plates. The waitress then took my fork cleaning off the salad plates, then returned with the entrees and disappeared. She came back to get refill order and noticed my empty tea glass. She informed us of the new 1order per refill policy. It was 15 minutes before she returned with the refill of tea and shrimp. I commented that at this rate we'll be here all night. She replied she was exhausted from being on a 12 hour straight shift with no breaks. Now, I'm not calling her a liar, but I've not heard of a Red Lobster Brunch, so the thought of her working at 9am seemed laughable. Every time she came out it was a new excuse. She "broke our 3 plates that she had hidden in the sugar" because they were out of plates. All refills arrived with no sauce, unless you had ordered and already received your food and ordered your next refill. Then the sauce for your now cold shrimp finally shows up with your NEXT order. At least half your food is hot. The dry rubbed shrimp has 3 tablespoons worth of seasoning still sitting on the plate. So overseasoned, they were practically unedible. She saw my tea glass was yet again empty. Having already gotten 3 refills, didn't think I needed to repeat that it was unsweetened, but 8 minutes later when she finally returned with the pitcher, it was sweet. She then went to go get the correct one. I'm guessing she forgot, because a few minutes later she's bringing out our next order and going "tea!",confirming she'd forgotten. This was a repeating cavalcade of errors the entire night right up until we had been there for 2 hours and the rush finally died down. By that time I was the only one that still cared about being full. Finally, food is coming out, and more than we actually ordered. The rolls we requested are apparently lost, but at least the dishes are hot. I again empty my tea glass. The waitress finally returns to see it and goes to get the pitcher. She first fills the table behind me, then comments, "Wait! This is sweetened, let me go get the unsweetened." She then comes back and pours my glass. Surprise, it's sweetened. The table behind us all requested sweetened and received my unsweetened. This was the topper to an epic fail of a night. The 4 drinks ordered took on average 22 minutes to get each pair (20,then 24) Again this came with a bevy of excuses. The best thing this waitress did all night was make excuses. By the end, it was just sad. We rarely leave less than 15%, but this gave new meaning to the word "bad", so a slight decrease seemed more than warranted. read more
