Where do I even start? Not a regular, but I should be.... but this is what I can say When it's Crawfish season, this is one of my favorite places to come. I didn't get Photos but today we got the crab legs, fire mouth seasoning. It was good, but The Crawfish is better. My son got the grilled alligator and his spouse got some type of grilled shrimp and fish. They both looked really good. They also ordered some rat tails and some fried alligator which I didn't eat, of course because of the gluten. Service here is always really good. I have not had a server yet that wasn't helpful and on top of things. Only complaint I can give is only had a tiny bit of ranch for my salad, but that's not really a complaint. That's just because I like a whole lot of ranch. It wasn't as loud today, which was nice sometimes it's very loud in there. The stuffed shrimp was nothing special for $20. The shrimp and dirty rice were underwhelming, and the hushpuppies were some of the worst I've tasted. The crawfish fondue was okay, and garlic bread has improved! It was soft, buttery, and one of the highlights of the meal. My family member enjoyed the crawfish fondue and the Cajun fried chicken lunch combo, so at least someone left happy! Unfortunately, we ran into three issues during our visit. First, my garlic bread didn't come out with my stuffed shrimp. Then, green beans were brought to our table instead of the fries requested. Lastly, the boudin balls only had rice inside, no pork sausage, which is supposed to be included. I didn't mention the boudin balls to my waiter because I wasn't about to wait for them to be remade. Thankfully, the garlic bread and fries came out fairly quickly, so we didn't have to wait long. Honestly, I'm glad we chose fries to replace the green beans because canned green beans from the grocery store taste better than the ones Razzoo's serves. On a positive note, the service was good, and the fried pickles were exceptionally delicious! Unfortunately, I have to give this visit a low rating because of my overall experience. I shouldn't have to wait for an item that's supposed to come with my meal. If I order a specific side, that's what I should receive, and I shouldn't have to wait for an item to be remade because it wasn't prepared correctly in the first place. Furthermore, the music was way too loud. We both had to repeat our orders because the waiter couldn't hear us. If the music is loud enough to interfere with basic conversation and taking orders, it needs to be turned down. Helpful tip: You can switch out your sides for free! You don't have to get the sides listed with your entrée. Even when ordering online, you have this option. read more

My Boyfriend invited me to Razoos. We sat at the bar together. I noticed there was one girl working. I heard, they were short handed two people so, service was a bit slow, of course. They brought my Boyfriend's Poyboy Sandwich out and it looked pretty dry? My boyfriend said, he thought it had been sitting in front of the heat lamps for a long time. He brought it to the Manager's attention. The Manager disagreed but, he had the Sandwich remade and it was nice and fresh this time around. The Fries were fresh and flavorful with all the right seasonings.Three Hush Puppies came with the PoBoy Sandwich that were fresh but, not too flavorful? The staff is friendly and the food is good. If, something is not right, the Manager will make it right. So, head to Razoos for some Cajun food. read more

My son treated me to dinner, and honestly... he chose wisely. We both ordered the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, green beans, and creamy andouille gravy !Everything was flat-out delicious. That chicken fried chicken was crispy, golden, and seasoned all the way through. Even the batter had flavor, which is not always a given. The gravies? Excellent. Rich, comforting, and done right. And the mashed potatoes and green beans tasted like I cooked them myself--which is the highest compliment I can give. The service was amazing. Montreal was attentive, on point, and somehow managed the rare skill of being present without hovering. That balance deserves applause. We both had margaritas with a float of Grand Marnier. Now... I'll be honest--the Grand Marnier was a little sus. I couldn't see it or taste it, but Montreal insisted it was there, so we'll let that slide. The margaritas were still good, and the evening was beautiful, so vibes stayed intact. Great atmosphere, relaxed energy, wonderful food, and quality time with my son--can't ask for much more than that. I'd absolutely go back, especially for that chicken fried chicken. read more

Just moved to the Fort Worth area and I can hands say this place is the closest I have found to food back home in Louisiana. The crawfish had the perfect flavor and spicy to them. The oysters were fresh and flavorful. Everything was a 10/10. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or just traveling through. we always split the fish ah yee. They had it going on that day. I kept craving it, so on Dec 31st I went back with my daughter, grandmother, and mom. It was a complete 180. Service was terrible. She was the rudest waitress I think I've ever had. She had a smart mouth and even backed talked my mom while she was trying to order her tea. She made another table so mad that lady threw stuff all over the floor when she left. Not the most classy was to say you're mad but I understood because of how ugly the waitress has been. The food was okay at best, the rat toes were not cooked as well and didn't have much stuffing. The fish ah yee has no toast and when I asked "she guessed she could go find some", I was scared to eat it after that. On top of terrible service and meh food, the dishes were disgusting. Everything was dirty. We got four little plates and we had to send three back. This was still one of the ones after the first three were exchanged. If you zoom in the fork there is still food between the tines. We had to ask for multiple sets of silverware before we got clean ones. I was so disappointed after I had been so impressed. Let me tell y'all something--Razzoo's is IT! I'm out here in Fort Worth, Texas, visiting, and this place just put me in my happy food place. I started with the grilled oysters--you know, the ones with garlic butter and Parmesan. Babyyyy, they were EVERYTHING. Like, who knew oysters could taste like a little slice of heaven? I was out here licking the shell (don't judge me), wishing I had room for another order. Then came the main event: the stuffed shrimp. Y'all... shrimp stuffed with seafood? Who even thought of this genius combo?! They were juicy, flavorful, and topped with this lemon butter sauce that had me over here like, "What's the recipe, and how can I make this at home?" And don't even get me started on the sides--white rice, green beans, and that garlic toast. Let's just say I cleaned my plate like I was raised right. The vibe here is a whole mood. The staff is sweet, the energy is fun, and the food just hits different. If you're in Fort Worth and don't pull up to Razzoo's, you're playing yourself. Came in today for the BOGO crawfish deal. Disappointed that they had to be ordered together. My husband prefers spicy where as I cannot do spicy. We didn't want more than a pound each. (Later heard a family behind us order crawfish and were told they were out of crawfish, also something that should've been mentioned at the hostess stand, as it was a deal that was heavily advertised) Service- Feel this location is understaffed or just were having trouble catching up. The bartenders had quite a few friends come by hang around the bar to chat, leave with food and drinks, etc. Seemed to be a huge distraction and delay in service for paying patrons. Food- Decent although came out very slow and staggered, we don't mind eating as food as prepared, however it seemed as if it was forgotten, and not entered in immediately after we ordered. Oh wait,--I nearly forgot that I'm in Texas, the land of plentiful mediocracy in nearly EVERYTHING, especially the hospitality industry. We enjoy Cajun food and have done so in many places across America, not just the south. We should have heeded the warning when the we saw the orange Yelp star rating of 3.4 out of 348 ratings. Instead, we decided to give this location a try for a to-go order. On to the "completely incompetent" portion... My wife spoke with a person on the phone and placed an order. After taking the payment information, the staff member informed my wife the payment didn't go through. She repeated the information back thinking maybe something wasn't relayed correctly. Nope, that did't work. Not a big deal, even though my wife travels often and hasn't had an issue with her credit card in the past several years, she presented another payment option. Nope, it did't work, same problem as the first try. After this, the staff member suggested we could come into the restaurant and make the payment when the order was picked up. Sure thing... we proceeded to the restaurant. Upon arriving, I gave the name that the order was placed under to the first person who greeted me. They appeared to go into the kitchen and presumably checked on the status of the order. After about 60 seconds or so, they came out and informed me "it's not ready yet." I should note that I wasn't in a hurry and definitely didn't expect our to be ready when I arrived. After waiting for approximately 5 more minutes, another person greeted me and asked the name associated with the order, which I gave to them and they proceeded into the kitchen, presumably to check on it. After 30-60 seconds, that person came back into the entry area without mentioning anything to me (which is okay, not a big deal in the moment). After approximately 5 more minutes passed, another person that I hadn't spoke with yet (yes, the third person) proceeded to ask me, "excuse me, what's your confirmation number?" I replied stating I never received one--my order was placed over the phone. This person informed me that they don't place orders without a confirmation number. The bottom line, is this establishment clearly has several points of failure for a simple order. I realize that no one (or organization) is perfect, but c'mon, this is ridiculous. I was obviously lied to at least once, by the very first person I spoke with in-person. This review is completely legit and real. This isn't an Ai troll. In fact there were 5-6 staff members who witnessed me mention that I'll be leaving this negative review. Im not interested in speaking with anyone from management about this "to make it better." There's nothing to be made better. If you continue to employ staff that are liars, then I predict your ratings will continue to suffer. If you have great food with great service you might have a chance to rise but that's not what I experienced. read more

Waiter took his time getting our order, I asked for the pig out combo and they said they were out of that combo and didn't tell me what they were out of exactly, so I waited another 10 mins and he finally came back to fill up my drink and I got two lbs of crawfish. Gator was dry and very thin, shrimp was mediocre and small. Crawfish were dry and hard to peel without shredding the meat. Staff was alright, a lot of meat wasted cus they over cooked it. Food is well flavored with many choices. Reasonable meal quantities, sides are not mentioned on menu for all items, ask. Seating and service rapid, Sunday lunch lots of seating available with even room for large parties. One of the few places with pricing shown on all appetizers and drinks and specials. This is great, as so many make you ask and then servers have to ask the bartender... that's others. Your prices are reasonable and shown. Good thing. It was the 3rd and last time we go there. Don't sit in the bar area because every time we went to the bar area. First 2 times was during the week midday. Their mixing drinks instead of tending to your food order. Then it comes out wrong. They always have 1 side of the bar tables closed, so that shows they don't want any customers in that area. So we had to sit at the bar stools.Last time was a Saturday, late afternoon and we waited over 30 minutes for our order while watching our bartender/waitress fixing drinks. Pathetic place. read more

The GOOD: Razoo's is about as close to real Cajun food as you're gonna get from a chain sit-down style restaurant in north Texas. The service at this spot is usually pretty quick and the food comes out hot and fresh. The bar has cold beer, including a couple labels from Louisiana. I sat at the bar and ordered a shrimp Po' Boy with fries and it was pretty darn tasty. An ice cold New Belgium "Voodoo Ranger IPA" was the perfect drink. The BAD: Cleanliness in this particular location is hit and miss. It's not unusual to get a sticky table or see food on the floor even during slow periods. Today was no different. As soon as I took the last bite of my Po'Boy... a damn roach crawled up from under the bar and skittered across the top. I should have taken a quick photo, but my knee jerk reaction was to just swat it away. I spent 30+ years traveling the world and have eaten in some really sketchy joints. A little roach isn't gonna cause me to freak out like some entitled "Karen". Guess what...bugs happen! Just because you don't see them doesn't mean they aren't there. I visited Razzoo's for the 1st time ever. OMG!! What a find!!! This was hands down the best service & management I've ever experienced at a restaurant! I went to their website earlier & signed up for emails & text & they immediately sent me a text coupon for a free appetizer. At the end of the meal, I showed my "coupon" to my server & she showed it to her manager. She came back to the table & said instead of taking my $9.99 Gumbo off the bill she took the $14.99 gator bites off the bill to save us some money. I am still blown away that they were so thoughtful, they actually cared about their customer over their profits! In so doing, they now have a customer for life! I would highly recommend this restaurant!! Our wait staff was an absolutely amazing girl named Asia!!! We were well taken care of! If you're ever in South Ft. Worth, stop by this restaurant! Be careful if you're a door dasher. This restaurant does not do their due diligence when it comes to properly giving out orders, at least to the correct people. Refuses to make the order again when the mistake was on their end. All around upsetting customer service for a restaurant. I don't usually leave reviews unless it was awful but I really don't appreciate a company refusing to correct their own mistake, consequently making myself have to deal with the repercussions of something I had no control over. I really wanted to like this place...love anything Cajun. But they so missed the mark on quality. In their defense, they were slammed with takeout. That's a weak excuse... But an excuse. I ordered a cup of the gumbo, that never ended up coming. I ordered the red fish blackened, and when it came out, I was surprised that I hadn't received the gumbo. The manager, I believe, said it would it would be right out. The red fish was a thin cut, so any delay in the kitchen getting it out would have over cooked the fish. It was so bad. The dirty rice was cold ...the greenbeans were actually good. I waited a few more minutes for the gumbo... but after the fish I really don't want another disappointment. I paid and the bartender said he would make the gumbo to go...I just left without it. Again the take out was going crazy, so maybe this was an off night and I ordered an entrée that is not suited for this particular restaurant. It's not even the same recipe for fried fish. Don't even think that's catfish, I think it's a whitefish. My daughter had stuffed shrimp. Stuffing was mushy w no flavor. I had grits and shrimp.
