On Saturday, July 19 myself, wife and sister visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday. When seated I told the waitress that it was my birthday and that we did not require any special consideration. The meal was served and I would rate the meal well above average and the meal service good. Upon leaving, I left my blue colored birthday card, with my name on the card with a restaurant gift card on the table. When I returned home I called the restaurant and was told that they removed the card and put it in the dumpster. It is obvious to me what happened to the card and gift card. I fully expect that personal property to be held for restaurant customers as a courtesy and just good business practice. The on duty manager was unable to help me because she had to accept her employees word. I wrote corporate customer relations and was told that they are not libel for forgotten customer personal property. I just expected it to be held for an hour. There is little doubt in my mind what happened here. I felt that this restaurant could have been more forthcoming, honest, and helpful to me. read more

The crab boil was supposed to be Cajun but tasted like Parmesan, the "wild-caught" fish seemed straight from a frozen box, and even the coleslaw lacked flavor. The kitchen was messy when I passed by right before leaving. Our server was great, but overall I would not recommend this location. read more

We went to Red Lobster on Christmas Day. Had to wait 2 HOURS and another hour to get food. We arrived at 7:00 PM and didn't leave until 10:30. I can kinda understand why cause it was Christmas to be fair. Don't order fries, if you do, be prepared to wait a while to cool. They are very spicy. But the other food was good. I love the ambiance. They do have a weather station there. Since I'm a weather geek. I loved it. Would recommend going there, just not on any holiday, like Christmas. read more

The absolute worse Red Lobster EVER!!! Ate here and my husband and I both got sick...Vomiting and diarrhea. Not to mention, the workers are very unprofessional. Alot of playing around, loud side-conversations (particularly the loud "boy/girl gay server)while customers were clearly dining. This was a disaster! This location needs some serious overhaul. Saturday night there was an hour wait for a party of 3 after 9 before we were seated. My waitress was fine, she was friendly but obviously was just tired from a long night of complaints. First to start the restaurant is filthy. Clean dust the ceilings, vents, floors, tables window ledges... After we ordered we realized every single table around us was waiting on food or complaining to a manager about the food or lack thereof. We waited for about an hour to receive lukewarm food that was incorrect and had been sitting and was not fresh. It was late and we were just outdone. The wait for a manager was long as several tables were just ticked off at the wait and then condition of the food. The kitchen was obviously short staffed and beyond struggling. I tried to have grace as it was a rough night for all staff. I will not be back anytime soon. I hate we waisted money tonight. We went here for lunch this week. When order arrived one of the sides was missing. The waitress argued that we had not ordered it! I got the sailors feast. Flounder was fried skin, no thickness at all. The popcorn shrimp were so small they looked like tiny embryos. Baked potato was really small. Meal cost $68 !!!! Never again !!! read more

Took my boys and their buddy to dinner tonight. First time at Red Lobster! We all had the Caesar salad. Very good. Not too much dressing and shaved cheese. The warm rolls were delicious. No need for butter. The main meals were good, just not Great. The shrimp was over cooked and the crab legs were so soft you couldn't use the crackers. A bit disappointing. Was surprised of the prices; seemed high for this chain The service was not good. I had to ffinally get up and ask someone to assist us inn getting a check. We were told that our waitress was not feeling well soo another was taking over...really? That is what you tell us after she has handled our plates, glasses, etc? The server really makes or breaks this location. My family came in December and it was awesome service. So the food seemed fresh and amazing. Saturday night we waited an hour to get seated. Totally understandable for a Saturday night. We got a text to be seated... yay! Our waitress seemed like things would be okay until I realized she was all over the place. Trying to clean tables versus providing service. No biscuits, no water, ordered a cocktail. After 20 minutes, I realized she wasn't going to provide adequate service. I went to the bar to order my drink myself. I came back while she was at the table and she said oh was it waiting on you? No ma'am! I ordered it while there. No refills on drinks, just poor service. I can go on and on. The food wasn't bad upon arrival... well some of it because one of the appetizers came after the meal but she couldn't remove because it came with a deal. It was a long time since our last visit, so we visited on a Thursday night. Forgot to make reservations, but as a walk-in, we were seated in 15 minutes. Shout out to the manager and our waitress Kiara. High sprited, pleasant, and checked on our every need. The famous Red Lobster classic biscuits were yummy. Just as I remembered. Patron Margarita with salted rim was excellent. I was hyped, but alas, the rest of the evening went downhill. Calamari had an unknown foil item intertwined; the ultimate feast contained 2 premium and 2 classic selections. Selected lobster tail (could have been hotter) grilled scallops (under cooked) shrimp fettuccine alfredo (just ok) and garlic shrimp (just ok) and hubby ordered the Salmon New Orleans ( blackened salmon topped with shrimp with a tomato cilantro relish- salmon was baked not blackened. First off the service was good our server was very nice and tried to accommodate us as we were a party of 12. But first thing is that they were our of Pepsi no sugar. Next they were out of Lime for waters and the dish I wanted had ingredients missing so I had to order something else. After this they ran out of sweet tea so couldn't accommodate the drink refills. This was at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon needless to say this was our last trip here. Also waitress got everyone's check mixed up although I can see how this would happen. I stopped in for a early dinner at Red Lobster just to take a moment to breathe. It was pretty busy but I was seated right away. I had the sweetest little waitress named Dory. She took a look at me and said I'm going to bring you a glass of water and a hug, I thought that was the sweetest thing. I ordered steak, shrimp, broccoli and string beans. Surprisingly my food came pretty quick; the steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp & veggies were very tasty too. This is hands down the worst Red Lobster I've ever been to. Recently ordered the lobster pizza and the Ultimate Feast. The pizza was soggy and undercooked. As shown in the picture the crab legs had worts, the lobster tail was barely cooked. Only thing edible in the feast was the Brussel sprouts, baked potato (which they didn't send my butter or sour cream), and the shrimp. $55 and ate about $5 worth. I will say the biscuits were good and hot so that helped me not still be hungry. read more

Horrible service. Family of 5, got 4 pieces of bread. Asked for over 2 hrs for a refill, breads were always "in the oven". Table next to us with 3 ppl got bread twice in 10 min. Empty cups most of the time, no refills for over an hour. Food took forever and missing items. Promised missing items for 2 hrs, never arrived. Offered bread and cake to go for free for poor service, missing silverware, and no crayons for child. Kids were excited and picked out cake that we never received or bread to go. Awful experience. Granted I have been coming to this location for 15 plus years seen alot of people come and go. Today we decided to go for lunch big mistake.. New Bartender AJ. He was very nice. Over whelmed with people. Taking tables around bar and working the bar and the well. Way to much for someone on their 3rd day. You would think a manager would step in to help him. But no Kelly was of course in office where she always is. Poor guy. I give him a month before he quits. We ordered our drink which is a shot of patron on rocks with sugar rim, sour on the side. And lobster dip app. Hubby and I had 2 drinks a piece. KELLY the manager tells AJ to charge us for a classic margarita 9.49 and a shot of patron for 3.00 so 12.49.. wow. All just for a SHOT OF PATRON. TALK ABOUT PRICE GAUGING. When my drink have ALWAYS BEEN 10 49. WHICH is the price of a shot of patron. So if you go to eat at this Red lobster. Check your bill. Telling my wife I wanted I was crab and letting her decide lead us here, because of the cheddar biscuits! She loves them! And we haven't been here in over a year and half or so. It was actually a nice trip, it was quite and we had a great waiter. We ordered the coconut shrimp which are amazing (always get a thing of extra piña colada sauce it's delicious to dip ur biscuits in), my wife had the shrimp trio that she always does and loves it with a baked potato. However they forgot her side salad. I did the crab legs and broccoli and side salad which they also forgot. The grab was great I actually didn't realize how much was coming. And the broccoli was amazing! Now my complaint is they changed there pricing to where salads are the upgraded sides so we got charged 5.00 for salads we never got. And we just didn't want to wait to have them removed. And a lot of the prices have went to the extreme that we can go to Ruth's Chris for the same price. And I wish that was a joke. Some meals are close to 45 or 50 dollars, families can't afford stuff like that. I feel there pricing themselves out of business. However over it was great meal! And great food! read more

Whoa! It's been at least a decade since I've been to this restaurant chain. A lot has changed, but the fact that you can count on fresh seafood prepared many different ways has not; I am glad. Those keepsake lighthouse glasses are gone (smile). I thought they were adorbs. But those light, fluffy, garlic-cheese biscuits are right there where they belong and as delicious as ever! We went on a beautiful mid September afternoon. On this particular Thursday the state of North Carolina was bracing themselves for Hurricane Florence, so there was no wait time, and we were seated at once. Everyone's entree was nice. My fish was seasoned and fried to perfection. My mom enjoyed her endless shrimp -- but my husband asked for a medium done steak. Instead his steak was well done. We all thought the Caesar salad was coated in too much dressing. And we didn't get dessert, but based on the choices and pictures... Dessert would have probably been scrumptious. Last but not least, a big thumbs up for the service. Our waitress was friendly, prompt and left nothing to be to be desired. Based on this visit, it surely won't be another ten years before I patronize Red Lobster again. read more

This review is from service a year or two ago, so things may have changed. I was with my wife and son, celebrating his birthday, and the service was incredible. When we walked in, we were greeted and signed in promptly. It took around 40 minutes to get seated, but we waited. The lights were dim, as usual, but that was good for my son, who has autism and some sensory issues. We were seated at a table, which i didnt mind, but my son, he doesnt like the feeling of publicity the tables give. We were changed to a booth promptly, with no questions asked, and he was happy. We then gave our drink order and received their famous biscuits which were properly seasoned, buttered, and were deliscous. I ordered the crab platter, and my food was phenomenal. My wife and son shared the meal with 2 entres and 2 sides (it costed around $80, not sure what it was called.) My son was ecstatic when (at the time, we didnt realize) the server upgraded his small steak to an AMAZING filet mignon. He said it was one of the beat steaks he ever had. When it time came for the birthday song, he was reluctant, considering the music annoyed him and made him embarrassed. The servers agreed to sing the sing quietly and he got his dessert. Commenting on disappointing scene I witnessed this past weekend when I came in with friends. I'm not from the area nor is Red Lobsters common where I live, so I was looking forward to eating here with friends. We got there around 8 and were told there was a 45 minute wait so we went to grab drinks elsewhere and swung back almost an hour later but still had to wait outside for a bit before being seated in the back by the bathroom. Generally I'm not a fan of being seated near bathrooms but didn't want to make a big deal about it. From my view, I could also see the kitchen very clearly as well. A couple of my friends ordered Caesar salads and I watched our waiter stick his bare right hand which wasn't gloved into the salad bowl, scoop some out, and put into the bowl. I was mortified and thought I didn't see clearly because it looked like something I would see on TV. I immediately told my friends what I observed and that I would make our waiter aware. As soon as he came to serve them their salad, I pointed out to him I saw him serve the salad without tongs and with his bare hands. At first, he claimed to be wearing gloves and that he used tongs, but after I pressed he used his bare hands, he then went to put an extra glove on and claimed it had been a day. We were all turned off at this point, cancelled our order and left. He was a nice kid, but with COVID-19, it's extra important that restaurants practice utmost safety measures and protocol to keep customers safe. I have been a regular, 4 to 6 times a year customer of Red Lobster for many years. The last time we ate at one of their stores, Myrtle Beach, SC, it was mediocre. Tonight we ate at Concord Mills, NC. The service was poor, it took a long time for our food to be delivered, and when it was, it was lukewarm, and not very good. The saalad was wilted. Our server didn't bring our rolls until the meal was served. I had to flag down a different server to get a drink refill. When we were ready for our check there was no server to be found. We got a busboy to find our check. He was actually the most efficient person working. I am deleting the Red Lobster app from my phone. I will not be going back. The one-star rating is the lowest allowed. It's a gift. read more

Every now and again someone will say they tried Red Lobster and had a positive experience. I had a family member who really wanted to go and a waiter in training is the only reason I gave 2 stars. His trainer was woefully lacking and clearly didn't care much. read more

I normally do not go to Red Lobster as I prefer to go to non-chain restaurants, but I stopped here because I'm traveling and really wanted some seafood. The service was (from start to end) was excellent. Management here really knows what they are doing and they went above and beyond to make my experience a pleasant one. The food was delicious. The drinks were delicious. Everything tasted wonderful, perfectly cooked, and I will probably be back when I'm in the area again! Kudos to the manager last night, Scott (I think is his name). The adults snuck away for a quiet dinner and Red Lobster was just up the road from where we are staying. We around around 7 on a week night and were quickly seated. Our waitress lacked personality. She didn't tell us about any specials just jumped right into our drink order. We got our food and it was pretty good. My food arrived lukewarm and my friend's was hot. Wait was 20 mins. Which wasn't bad for a Sunday at 530. However, after sitting down it took 12 mins to place a drink order about 12 mins to get our three water. Then about 20 mins after that we got our food. I understand restaurants are short staffed but the server only had two tables with customers in them. Manager walked by me multiple times and saw we didn't even have drinks. I wouldn't return because of how bad the service was. All red lobsters are definitely not the same! Eli was a wonderful waitress and we were able to sit immediately. It was mid week so the establishment was quiet. Eli was accommodating and recommended the Brussel sprouts which were to DIE for! (Please don't die lol) I'm normally not a chicken tender girl but the breading was amazing! It's been two weeks since I ordered a Togo order which was missing items and had the wrong size of a soup I requested. I then waited over 20 plus minutes for them to correct my order and make biscuits while being ignored by the staff who were busy taking selfies. I asked for a refund and was told only the GM could do that the following day. It has been two weeks now and although I have been contacted back by customer service through email and told the operations Manager would reach out I have still not heard back from that person or received a refund of my entire order. Take my advice don't bother ordering food from here. They wasted almost an hour of my day two weeks ago but have also wasted my time with trying to get my refund by not doing what was stated would be done. I feel like I have plenty of time for them to do the right thing before posting here and on other platforms to warn others.
