I used to love going to Red Lobster all-over the United States. Today I was at the Red Lobster in El Paso in Sunland Park. This is the worst experience I've ever had. The crab legs came out dried-up and cold. I had a $30 plate and it was literally worth $2 to me. The crab shells appeared soft and rubbery while the inside was dry and hard to chew. Some of the smaller crab legs were all dried-up and nothing came out of them. Nothing on my plate was warm. I was not asked how my food tasted. Even my butter was cold. The service was ok otherwise, but it doesn't make up for poor food quality. I will not be back for this price. I will go to Landry's Crab Leg buffet on Sundays. You get more Bang for your buck. Red Lobster used to be such a wonderful franchise. Very sad. If you're coming here for crab legs, don't bother. read more

Let me say that Red Lobster is always high on my list of places. Great food, good service, and an overall pleasing atmosphere. I've never had a bad experience here (or at any Red Lobster) and that is hard to say for most places. Keep doing what you're doing because it works great! Me and husband decide to eat at red lobster for lunch. Our first dish was the calamari appetizer, and it was so greasy and quite gross. I ask if the salmon was wild caught nope majority of the seafood is farm raised which is appalling full of chemicals. If you do not know what farm raised seafood is look it up. So I got pasta and salad, and my husband got the shrimp trio. Our plates were small and very greasy. I am a picky eater, and this place was not worth 70 bucks for both of us. We go here on our anniversaries:) just because the consistency of service and food. And we're stuck in the desert so edible seafood can be tricky. I figure they are such a big company they have the fresh seafood ordering down to a science. I grew up next to the ocean and was used to catching my own dinner literally. This has become a favorite spot of mine now for mostly one reason.....Lobster Nachos. The restaurant itself is kept up very well, very clean, and have friendly and attentive staff. The food is fantastic and I always leave fully satisfied....as long as I have my lobster nachos. I will sometimes go there just for the delicious appetizer, i also suggest the lobster bisque. read more

Visited this Red Lobster a couple of times this month. Over all good place. Service can be slow from time to time but not to the extreme. Standout items were the Lump Crap Fritters Also enjoyed the Lobster Shrimp and Salmon combo. Had broiled oysters that were way over cooked but other than that, an ok place. read more

We took my mother here for her 71st birthday tonight, and we had a great experience! Our waiter, Larry, was attentive, polite, and very sweet. The food was all delicious, and my steak was perfectly cooked. This isn't the first time I've been to this location, and I've never had a bad meal here! I hope the manager sees this and lets Larry know how happy we were with his service. And the table of 20 who stayed there over an hour and only tipped him five bucks? Shame on all of you! read more

Red lobster isn't my favorite but it also isn't Taco Bell (aka worst food establishment on the planet) it's really pricey too. I had to get approved for a loan before I went here. Food is pretty good. Salmon was superb. Price makes this place a once in year type of restaurant. read more

Good dependable staples, great cheddar biscuits

It's just my 2nd time going to red lobster, I didn't really like it the first time I went so I don't know why I went again . I got a steak with shrimp grill combo . The shrimp was a little under cooked and soggy .. I don't know how that's possible this being that it's red lobster for crying out loud , my steak was not cooked right either , I asked for medium well and I got a medium cooked steak. And the the Long Island ice teas had hardly any alcohol in them , long islands are suppose to have a little kick to them and I couldn't taste anything at all and they had waaay to much ice ! That was a waste of money for sure , I'm not going back and I don't recommend this red lobster. read more

The food was delicious but that's not the real story. The service was above and beyond. Our food accidentally went to the wrong table and the manager came out to explain the situation. They sent us a free appetizer and comped our meal! We were upset at all - the other customers should have said the the entree wasn't theirs. But the manager and the waiter went above and beyond to make the situation right. That's the kind of thing that sticks with you. read more

Food was average. Went here for crab fest and was pleasantly surprised at the options and new menu....until I got my pound of crab legs and "sides". Ended up being 4 pieces of potato and a weirdly spiced soggy piece of corn on the cob. The crab was nicely steamed, but also seemed less than a pound. The cheesecake was creamy, but there was no crust and tasted like it could have been frozen. Service was ok, efficient, but somewhat awkward. On top of this all, I ended up with a pretty bad stomach ache and got sick. Definitely not going to this location again. read more

To eat there or not? My wife and I ate at this Red Lobster and was very dissatisfied. I was so disappointed in the Admiral Plate, you could taste that the shrimp, fish filets, crab bites (really couldn't tell what it was) was frozen and greasy. You could pick up a shrimp or any of the fish and your fingers would be super greasy and also taste that all had been frozen. My wife's order of breaded talpia was all breading and what fish she could find tasted good to her. It has been a few years that we have eaten at a Red Lobster and we will not return. I went to Red Lobster today by Sunland Park. We sat the table for twenty minutes, never had a waiter come to the table. I went with my Dad to this place, and was craving some seafood.My Pops and I sat in the Bar area booths, I will say the interior of the place is really nice, with the dim lighting at night...I guess I just thought it was cool looking. So I ordered as a starter the Clam Chowda! I'm from Massachusetts, and probably the best Clam Chowder I've had is obviously on the Cape, and Legal Seafoods, Red Lobsters Clam Chowder wasn't anything special, was kind of bland, and tasted as good as a canned soup I'd find with a dent in the can at Food King. Basically, I wasn't impressed with it. Are Server/Bartender was nice and friendly, was attentive, kind of a burly lookin man named David. For my entree I ordered this stuffed Tilapia with Lobster meat, and for sides I had Broccoli and Mashed Potats...the Mashed was kind of warm, wasn't hot, which I prefer hot, but oh well. I also added scallops to my entree was actually really good. Overall, I enjoyed my experience, the food was good with minor things the chowder was ehh,and the mashed was warm, but almost cold, if that makes sense. I will come back though, was a good experience overall, but I will never again order Clam Chowda from Red Lobster. read more

Our server was obviously new and overwhelmed, a group of 6 of us visited this location last Friday because our friend was deploying on Monday, we waited about 30 minutes if not more for a table. We immediately sat at the bar to order drinks. The bartenders were rude and ignoring us, as soon as we open our mouths the bartender snapped at us and asked for ID's. We ordered mudslides and a few mojitos. After about 10-15 minutes of being ignored the bartender said "oh we're out of ice cream". So we said we would all have the strawberry mojitos. By the time our seats were ready our drinks still weren't. We waited another 15 minutes until our server came over with our drinks. He was obviously very overwhelmed, which we were extremely understanding about because it was busy. Once our drinks were served, the server disappeared. Long story short we were ready to order when we got there. It took us about an hour to actual order, and waiting 30 minutes with empty drinks. The whole time we never saw our server more than 5 times and he never asked if we needed anything, We knew he was overwhelmed because he was sweating and running around, he also asked another server to take over a table of his because he was swamped. Worst experience ever, if you can't handle being attentive to your tables, maybe this job isn't for you. read more
