It's been a year since we were there and thought we would give it another chance. They improved finally replacing the carpets so it no longer smells. They do social distance and throw away menus etc for Covid guidelines, that's appreciated. Our waitress was fantastic!!! The lobster claw in the Bloody Mary tasted freezer burnt-very fishy-the second one was only slightly better. The shrimp pasta Alfredo was so so. The 2 lobster tails were stuck on the shells and I had to pull them out with my hand but they tasted good. The steak skewers were so gamey and tough. The fish and chips were good and the lobster dip was watery. I'm sorry, as much as I love seafood, but with so many hit and misses in this place we won't be returning. Pretty bad experience. When we walked in, first thing I noticed was dead lobster in the tank. I didn't get my coleslaw until I was finished with the meal. Jim found 3 hairs in his meal. Went to dinner tonight and wasn't impressed. Their special of unlimited shrimp was not even highlighted on the menu. If you didn't search for it-then you missed it. A waitress came up and asked the hostess to come sign happy birthday. We wait. Got seated with menus. Not a person paid us any attention for 15 minutes. No water, no silverware, nothing. We left without saying a word and no one noticed. There were 3 waitresses and a waiter. Several tables dirty and several tables empty. Ever go out to eat, and even during COVID, the best you ate was the salad, I did just recently. I ordered the three-option selection and chose Walt's shrimp, clam strips, and fried fish with green beans. The shrimp was a little over cooked but the cocktail sauce was bitter; the fish tasted metallic; the clam strips were way overcooked, hard to chew; and the green beans had too much garlic and salt, I couldn't make it through even one. We go to this restaurant periodically, and we usually have a wonderful time. Red Lobster is known for great service as well as great food, and the nice manager, Linda, works very hard to keep the standards high. Ally is one of the best servers anywhere, and she and Linda (as well as other employees) really want the customers to have a great experience. We usually order the delicious Shrimp Cocktail for an appetizer, and today we also ordered the mouth-watering Garlic Shrimp Skewers and the wonderful Sesame-Soy Salmon for the entrees. Why couldn't we go to one of the cool up and coming places in downtown Freddy?! Anyways I was in the mood for scallops, so went with a combo meal of scallops and tilapia with a baked potato. The verdict? BLAND. The baked potato was the best part of my meal. Others in our party had the same opinion. And it's really kinda pricey. They were also out of a few key items. First time going to this location and it was a very pleasant experience. The waiting staff was great, and our waitress was top notch. It was Saturday night, so it was crowded. However, we only had to wait 15 minutes to get a table. The food itself was pretty good. It's my son and I got a plate with crab, lobster and two different types of shrimp which came with two sides. I have not been to a Red Lobster in years and my daughter wanted seafood after a long day of Christmas shopping. We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and were seated right away. We ordered the seafood artichoke dip which was really good and bubbling hot. I ordered the triple shrimp combo which came with shrimp scampi, fried shrimp, and shrimp fettuccini. This was A LOT of food. All were great and fresh. My daughter had the Mac and cheese, fried shrimp and broccoli. She loved hers as well. Since yesterday 4/10 was Mother's Day I got to pick where we ordered from. I really wanted crab legs so I did an online order from your restaurant in the Spotsylvania Town Center, Spotsylvania VA. I put in the order at 5:43 and it said it would be ready at 6:11. I have 3 confirmations the one on this site, an email confirmation, and the money was taken from my checking account since I used my checkcard to pay online. My daughter goes to pick the order up after work and they take down her name and car type and color. An hour later she is still waiting. Another hour passes and I decide to drive over there and ask to speak to a manager to cancel the order and get a refund. I get to the location and there must have been 100 people around waiting for their order. One gentleman had put his order in at 9:00 AM and another at 2:45 PM and both were still waiting. I asked to speak to the manager and so did several other people there. We were told that the manager couldn't come out and speak to us. I told them I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund. I was told they couldn't do that I needed to call corporate. Well corporate's guest services is shut down. So I decided to wait. It couldn't be too much longer it was already 8:30. At almost 9:00 pm I asked them to check my order and see if it was almost ready. It took asking 2 more times before someone came out and said they have no record of my order. The order said it was completed at 6:11 pm. We were told they were behind 200 orders and then they said 50 orders. It is just ridiculous that the manager did not come out to keep the customers informed or to offer a free appetizer and desert along with an apology for the wait. I understand with Covid 19 we are all having to learn to do things in a different way. I have had to figure out how to teach 1st grade from home. I get it this is not easy but I will never go to this restaurant again. This completely ruined my Mother's Day. I never got anything to eat that night. read more

Didn't get our water, my salad, or bread for about 10-15 min after placing order. My husband ordered a wagu burger. It was ok but not a wagu burger. We have had wagu before and expected a hirer quality of meat than was presented to us. We ordered an appetizer crab ragoon that we never received (we weren't charged for it.). One should receive an appetizer before the main course. We ordered it at the same time we ordered everything else. They were short in the kitchen as well and we didn't get our main courses until 30-40 min after ordering. My husband asked for mustard for his burger but never received it. He got up and asked someone else for it so he could actually eat. It was an overall poor experience in light of past positive experiences with Red Lobster. Soooo the family and I went here for dinner tonight. Normally we love it but on a day with 93 degree weather and no air made for a rather uncomfortable visit. Coupled with the fact that they had hardly any staff working and there was an extensive wait to be seated, ordering, receiving drinks and food. During the covid pandemic in an effort to support my local restaurants I ordered $98 worth of red lobster to go to be delivered by door dash and was sadly dissatisfied when it arrived despite the receipt being correct for what I had ordered and what had been paid for instead of a whole cheesecake I got a slice for $31.99 also no pina colada dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp then only about a quarter cup of the lobster artichoke dip with hops instead of the regular cup of dip you are served in the restaurant for dine in. Their idea of family size rice pilaf and fries for a family of four meal is sadly anemic as well only slightly over a cup of rice in one container and what you would get for a single serving of French fries instead of four So I'm short the food was completely messed up and when I called the restaurant take out area they said the manager was to busy to talk to me despite the entire restaurant finding room being closed due to the pandemic then I suggested they have somebody who can pack the bags correctly do it he simply started "we are doing our best and you should remain positive" and hung up on me.
