We usually have a great experience here but unfortunately I think this experience ruined it for us. We had a reservation that I booked online for 8 of us. And later found out they don't even do reservations. We didn't get seated until 7:15pm. Once seated I asked if we could have a high chair for our baby, they told me no because there is not enough room... We were stuffed into a booth and no room for the baby to sit but on the table? I have never ever been declined a high chair before. And sitting right across from our booth was a family with a high chair. I hope this never happens to anyone there again. if I could do negative I would l. have gone five times this year all Bad! Today I went in at 3:45 and only a few people. We ordered at 3:52 and our food did not come out till 4:50 the only edible item was lobster tail. The shrimp raw and uncooked the noodles were actually hard and the backed potato couldn't get fork through the middle. Waiter came said oh ok well want dessert? Paid 90.00 for him to take food back and leave never again! The waiter himself took forever on his cell phone but the bar. Ridiculous. There have been many posts/articles about the demise of Red Lobster .. I spent 25 years living in No CA enjoying fresh seafood from Mendocino north to Ft. Bragg .. I admit I am a spoiled/CA food snob .. I have enjoyed Dungeness crab right off the boat to fresh Halibut .. currently living approximately 1000 miles east from the Bay Area . .. the wife and I recently visited our Red Lobster in Grand Junction CO .. our server was very pleasant .. knowledgeable .. attentive .. we had a very enjoyable visit .. the food was very good knowing that it had been caught .. frozen .. transported to our dining location .. but what the hey -- it was pretty darn good (considering) .. if you want to enjoy a reasonably good seafood dinner - reasonably priced .. 1000 miles from the ocean .. A few weeks ago, I was dining at Red Lobster and witnessed something that really bothered me. Two servers were berating a new host right in front of me -- one was a very large Mexican server, and the other was a tall brunette. They were yelling at her so loudly that she started crying. I felt so bad for her that I gave her a tip myself. It was uncomfortable and completely unprofessional to witness that kind of behavior in front of customers. Because of this experience, I will not be returning as long as those servers continue to work there. I cant believe this place allows their staff to treat each other so poorly and so openly too. read more

The restaurant was clean and bustling, not crowded, but a fair amount of people dining. We ate at the bar and we were not treated very well. My husband is very particular. We go to Red Lobster for the biscuits which were mediocre at best last night. Keep in mind, I recognize my husband is particular and has difficulty hearing clearly. The bartender was impatient and decisive on how "he wanted us to eat". The register timed out and he lost our order, so he put it back in based on memory and it didn't come out right. He said there is no satisfying us. At one point he came out and said "Your meal is going to be another 20 minutes", it was only after I asked why that he explained they ran out of rice and more would not be ready for 20 minutes. It wasn't any explanation or choices, he was just haughty. I changed my order to mashed potatoes which were lukewarm. No more affordable lunch special. No matter what you order, the salad will cost you $2.49, even with a 2 side plate. Also, the salad is not simply delicious anymore. It now comes with cold bacon bits, cheese, onions, tomatoes, croutons and mixed greens drenched in dressing. So be sure to ask for the dressing on the side and leave off any unwanted items. If only they had used fresh romaine, it might have tasted better. Also, no prices could be given on drinks. We were told anywhere between 4 and 8 dollars. No drink prices listed on the menu except for margaritas. Alcoholic drinks $10 and up. Again, the old lunch specials are gone. Gone and the good economic times. read more

I do want to give my server credit, she was really great. I also am very understanding that it was a holiday tonight and we expected it to be really busy. That is why we made reservations. I don't know how this happens in a restaurant this big, but we waited an hour and a half past our reservation time to be sat (we're only a 2 top). After an hour of waiting, we checked in with the hostess to see if they had forgotten to text us. She said they were seating everyone for our time slot now, and would receive a notification when they were ready for us. We were patiently waiting, but 30 minutes later I still hadn't received a message so I asked again. That's when they said that I was no longer on the list. The manager overheard and made sure we got the next table. We sat down, ordered promptly, and then found out they had just run out of the item I ordered. I was especially disappointed because we were supposed be sat so much earlier. The kitchen was backed up (understandably), but our food was obviously rushed. Steak was only cooked on one side, the lobster tail was questionable, and part of my meal was incorrect. Did I mention we live an hour away? We should be home around 11:15... reservation was for 7:30... super disappointing experience. We won't be going back. read more

on 8/24/2022, went for dinner for crab alfedo linguni. cost was $24. found that it comes only with biscuits, no salad. there was at most 2 or 2.5 ounces of crab meat. maybe a cup and a half of pasta and sauce. in my opinion, way overpriced for what you get. i could not find how much they charged for a Bud or a house margarita on the menu . the waitress could not tell me either. she had to ask the front desk i assume and come back to tell me. the Bud 12 oz was $5.29 and the drink was $10.99. what a bad way to make someone feel. like " you so poor you have to ask?" . when i got home, i looked for reviews for this red lobster. gee, lots of 5 star reviews. but on looking closer, found that the reviews were 4 to 6 years old. there were almost no reviews in the last year and the few that were, were bad reviews. i will never return to this restaurant. read more

Tilapia was too spicy hot, like chili or hot pepper, ruined it for me. Mid December and the air conditioning was blowing on our head. Others were saying the same. We were in the area so we decided to have dinner here. Our server Cesar was great! The food was alright. I got the Pick Your Own Trio and my dad got the Steak and Lobster Tail and a cup of clam chowder. I thought my food was ok, I hadn't eaten all day so I was just really hungry and even then the food was just alright. My dad didn't like his steak too much so he only ate half. We were one of the last people in the section and when the other people around us left, one of the servers started cleaning right away. There is nothing wrong with cleaning the tables but he started spraying cleaning solution on the tables and the smell was strong. Maybe that's why we didn't care too much for the food because all I could smell was cleaning solution when we were trying to eat. Terrible!!!!! Went to enjoy endless shrimp with my daughter while visiting from Phoenix... Don't know where to start... Alfredo a day old, crust on top of sauce, pasta watery and soaked the breaded shrimp, garlic scampi didn't have garlic and was rubbery. First skewer of teriyaki shrimp was okay so ordered another and it wasn't grilled at all and cold! Daughters skewer wasn't grilled or cooked! Most expensive small salad and tough baked potato I had ever bought. Thanks for ruining shrimp for me Red Lobster! Service was poor also.. I liked this place. Was just passing by and needed to grab a quick bite. I always prefer Red Lobster to other chains, but this one has exceeded my expectations. I had a dinner (full) size salmon with baked potato and broccoli. Tasty and high quality food! All the ingredients were fresh. It did not take them too long to serve the food after I ordered, but everything had been just cooked. The service was fast, the waiter was very attentive and responsive (sorry don't remember his name). The place is spotless, reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. Haven't eaten here in over 20 years. I guess there are several towns like GJ that are so full of people with little to no reference for what decent food is that allow Red Lobster to stay afloat. The service was sub par, the biscuits were super salty, the bisque was cold, gelatinous, lumpy and a weird shade of orange. The shrimp were mushy. The salads were the worst part- wilted, warm and some of the leaves were actually a repulsive color brown. The only reason I didn't take pictures was because a family member requested this place for something 'different' as a birthday dinner, and I didn't want to make them feel bad. First impressions, the hostess was ready to sit us down promptly and with a friendly attitude. The waiter tended us promptly and was friendly and helpful. We ordered coconut jumbo shrimp and the new Caribbean salmon shrimp. We had our salads out quick and the main order followed after. It was really good. We ordered two top shelf Long Island ice tea.
