I put my name down on their online wait list. It said the wait was 20 mins. We arrive 20 mins later, check in at the host stand and she finds us on the list and says "it will 15-20 minites until I have a table". Seriously wtf is the point of the online reservation system? There was a crowd of people waiting including a ton of little kids like it was a day care center. After waiting 15 mins the host came and got us. Stopped in to the Henderson, NV Red Lobster for lunch on Monday.We both decided to have the Monday special Ultimate Endless Shrimp and were very happy we did. Everything was absolutely delicious and our server (Brittney) was very friendly and extremely on top of things, every time she brought something she asked what we would like next, so there was very little waiting. I really can't say enough about the food or service. We left extremely satisfied (and full, lol). The restaurant was very clean and music was a nice mix. Definitely recommend! She was pleasant, knowledgeable & she suggested what I should get from the 3 choices so I picked the Lobster and Langostino Pizza. First time to red lobster since I was a teenager so I guess you could say it was my first time because I don't remember anything about this place except the biscuits which are actually better from the box if you make your own at home. I normally don't eat at chain restraints but since I've had my baby I've had to do things more accommodating and convenient with a new baby. Hence why this was an easy choice close to home. We came in and while my boyfriend was carrying in the car seat naturally they opened the door for us. Very nice of them. We were seated right away and given some menus. Our server came over and started is on drinks. Explained the menu a bit. I like that the restaurant is dim so it was easy for my son to take a nap. I'm not much of a shellfish person so naturally j went to the land menu. I ordered the same thing as I did years ago which was the Cajun chicken Alfredo. My significant other ordered the shrimp. I could tell my server hates his job. He seemed to even do a bad job at faking a somewhat friendly attitude. He brought us out some biscuits which like I said aren't that great but they're free and warm which I appreciate. The clam chowder was not that great. I think progreso makes a better one. Our food came out eventually and my pasta was ok. Nothing great or stand outish about it. Could have had more Cajun flavor if you're going to call it Cajun pasta and needed salt as it was kind of bland. The shrimp was served three ways. In a garlic butter sauce, fried and a shrimp with pasta Alfredo. The shrimp was a pretty alright as my boyfriend said which means it was ok. Darden Restaurants, if you want to know why your chain is slipping put upper management on the next flight to McCarran and pay this location a visit. 2 visits, 1 week apart, 3 people the first visit, 5 on the second. I had read an article about the Red Lobster chain closing so i needed to visit at least one more time before that happened. I had been to many locations of Red Lobsters but this location was a first for me. I know it's just a little thing but I love it when they are there to open the doors for me. We were there for an early lunch so we were seated immediately. Erik, our waiter, walked over with his permanent smile on his face. I only mention that because every time he came over there was a huge smile. Fabulous! He was a great waiter. Our drinks were never empty and very attentive to our needs. We started off with the sweet chili shrimp. It was perfect for us to share! It had just enough spice with the sweet flavor of the sauce. I loved it. My lunch was delivered shortly thereafter. Wood grilled shrimp tacos were calling my name. They were full of good sized shrimp with a tangy sauce. Three tacos seemed like almost too much but I managed to power through. My daughter and her BF took me to red lobster in Henderson for my bday on Sunday night july 2. The food was good. But the service was the worst I have ever experienced. Not only did we have to ask after being seated for 20 mins for some drinks and bread, my drink I had to ask for 3 times. Our waitress shay kept disappearing in the back. We had to wait for her to return from whatever she was doing and wave her down for napkins and water refills. We asked for more bread that we never ever got. Then she stopped and talked with this other table for like 15 mins. We told her we were paying cash and she said you can give it to me when your ready then off she went and disappeared again making us the last table in there. And we felt so rushed I asked for a bday dessert and showed her my license to prove it was my bday and she brought me vanilla ice cream in a to go container with plasticware. All I see is a bunch of mixed reviews for this specific location. For me, I think this was one of the better Red Lobster's I've been to and I've been to a lot. Most of the Red Lobsters I've been to in California always include a long wait. I have yet to wait more than 10 minutes at a Las Vegas/Henderson Red Lobster. Let's start with service. Been to this specific location about 4 times. I remember one time meeting a friend here 30 minutes before they closed. I showed up in time, but she was running late. She showed up 10 minutes before closing and the restaurant still managed to serve us with a smile and no attitude. I know, that's their job, but a lot of restaurants show that they are not happy when you arrive minutes before they close. They kept the kitchen open for us even after closing. What I will never forget is that they continued to check on us and basically asked permission if they can shut certain parts of the kitchen down. Now, that's good service. -Food: If you have not been to Red Lobster before, they offer basically what any other seafood restaurant offers. They specialize in price because it's much cheaper to eat seafood here than any other seafood restaurant (no don't Long John Silvers). -Bottomless Shrimp: I don't know if this is daily or all the time. But I have had it in the past. Their fried shrimp has more batter than shrimp, but still pretty good. -Seaside Shrimp Trio: Is a favorite when in the mood for shrimp. It's shrimp pasta, fried shrimp, and garlic shrimp -Tilapia and Cod I put these all together, but their cod is really good. Big thick pieces of flaky fish. Tilapia is prepared pretty good to. Both are not fishy. -Steaks: Mixed reviews here. Had steaks here come too dry. Had some come too juicy. Then had some just right. Not as good as a Ruth Chris' but definitely better than a Chili's or Denny's. -Lobster: My opinion, one of my favorites. Portions small thought. -Stuffed Sole: Tried once and only recently. Did not fill me up, but still good. Order an appetizer!! -Glazed Chicken: I know it's a seafood restaurant, but have stopped by for lunch just for their chicken breast. About 7 total oz and usually have the sauce put on the side. -Calamari and Fried Vegetables: An oxymoron, but you'll find it all gone before your soup arrives. Usually gone from me and yes, the only way I will eat vegetables. -Red Lobster Biscuits: Don't remember the actual name, but this is a must on every visit. So good and perfect to dip into you chowder. Overall....I think you get more than what you pay for at this restaurant. Regarding service, I've always had good service. One of the reviewers mentioned poor service because they were seated after someone that came in later. I have to admit, they once or twice, have done that for me. I don't usually leave a review for a big chain restaurant. What's the point, but when their is a big ripoff I have to say something. We went to celebrate my birthday and the last day of school for my daughter. My wife and daughter both got the triple shrimp dinner. You get a salad, then pick your 3 kinds of shrimp. They both got shrimp and lobster pasta and two skewers of 6 shrimp each. So 12 shrimp, pasta with a bunch of shrimp and a salad for $14. Pretty good deal. I wasn't super hungry and my daughter didn't want her salad so I decided to just get the lobster & shrimp roll off the small plate menu for $9. I though I would just get a normal lobster roll but without any sides or a salad or anything for $9. No small plate means small plate or in this case small lobster roll, really small roll (see picture). I left my thumb in for size reference. I also included the photo from the menu. In the picture you can see three small shrimp and a clump of lobster material. The roll was so small they couldn't even fit anything in it on the one end. You can see the little shrimp can't even fit inside. These weren't the bigger shrimp like on the skewers, these were the small ones like in the pasta. Four bites and it's done. Didn't even taste that great, kinda bland, needed a little salt. Really really not worth 9 bucks. I had been looking forward to Crabfest and finally had a chance to go for a Sunday lunch. After looking at the Crabfest entrees, I decided to just have the Dungeness Crab (claws) by itself and have the Mussels in white wine appetizer. The mussels were done right, but a little too salty for my taste. The Dungeness Crab was a huge disappointment, it did not taste freshly cooked, and was very dry. The waitress was attentive in the beginning but lapsed into neglect as people started coming in. I ended my meal surrounded by at least five plates none of which she picked up. Ok first off the restaurant was wonderful in handling the fact that they forgot to input one of our dinners into the system so one of my guests was not able to eat with us upon delivery. The other two plates of food were good, however, the reason for the low stars is because my dinner (the $34.00 lobster tail) was mushy. That is an indicator that the lobster tail was bad, so I was unable to eat as well. It was delivery. There was no way for me to send it back and I wasn't going to drive all the way to the restaurant to prove my lobster was mushy. Thank you for trying Red Lobster, but I'm sorry. One person not receiving their dinner and one person paying $34 for a dinner not able to be eaten is to big of a risk for me to recommend or give a better rating. Husband and I went to this location for the first time today. The restaurant is super clean with friendly staff. Our waitress Taylor was just amazing. She was so nice, I will ask for her the next time we go. She knew how to take care of her guests/customers. That's the only reason why I gave this a 5 star rating.. Downfall was my salad that was under the chili shrimp there was a bug on the lettuce wings and all I wasn't eating anymore of that. The manager was very nice and took care of it all for us. Went in on MLK day about 5:30. It was the wife's B-day and she wanted fresh lobster form here. Got our drinks, appetizer, and ordered meals. All was good. Waiter, Sean great at his job, came back and informed us that they were out of 1 pound lobsters. They only had 3 pound lobsters at $75.00 each. She asked if they could discount the price a little. He offered alternatives, but wife was set on fresh lobster for her day. He sent the shift manager, Lisa over. Lisa explained that many people had ordered the 1 pound lobsters over the long week-end, and we should have called ahead, to see if they had them. That way they could have sent someone over to another restaurant to pick one up for her. So it was our fault (shame on us), and the $75.00 price was set. Next time call ahead. ?????? Then she left our table, and never stoped by to check on us again. Next time???? Since we had already received drinks and apps., and it was the wife's day. I told Sean just to bring her a 3 pound lobster. It took an extremely long time to receive our meals. My meal came out kind of warmish - cold. No way was I going to say anything at that point. Maybe it takes longer to cook a big lobster? Sean latter asked if my wife would like a free desert. You know, the ones they would have to throw away at the end of the night anyway. But by that time she was finished with her meal, and drinks. She was full. The food ranged from okay to good, and we didn't let this interfere with the wife's celebration, but we could have went without the stupid lecture from Lisa. Isn't their name Red LOBSTER? They run out of their main food, and we get a scolding? Isn't this Las Vegas with a ton of great food options that pride themselves on outstanding customer service? Lesson learned from Lisa; Don't eat at a restaurant located in the parking lot of Walmart, unless it's In-Out Burger. The bill came to over $200.00 with tip , (yeah at Red LOBSTER, for two people). So me and my boyfriend decided to stop in for a late lunch on Saturday as we hadn't been here in years. We were seated very quickly and our waitress greeted us and explained the current specials. We ordered the seafood stuff mushrooms as a appetizer and they were delicious. We both did the $14.99 three course entree I did the Cajun linguine Alfredo and sadly I did not taste any Cajun seasoning and/or spices it taste kind of bland. My boyfriend ordered the steak and stated it was good. This special included unlimited cheeses biscuits but we were there for a hour before we were brought a second round of biscuits and when asked for more we were told they were in the Oven. The dessert that comes with this special was quite the joke it's a small brownie that appears to be a frozen pre package one that they just heat in the microwave for 30 seconds. I asked for Herb Hot Tea and my wife asked for Decaf Coffee. Bree, in a loud voice proclaimed "We've never had Decaf here or Non-Caffeine tea bags. No one ever asks for that!" Right then and there, we should have left. What an ignorant comment for her to make. You all have nothing to be proud of that you don't serve decaf coffee or have herbal tea bags. We then proceeded to order. 2 Endless Soups & Salads along with an order of Crab Stuffed Shrimp Rangoon, and 2 Ice Waters. We had a 25 minute wait before the Salads were brought out. We asked about the bowls of Soup and Bree said it would be another 15 minutes or so. And she then added that the Biscuits would be coming out "whenever they are ready". My wife's Clam Chowder was very watery and tasteless. Here we were at a Fish Restaurant and the Clam Chowder was horrible. My lobster bisque was OK but nothing like the Bisque I've had at other seafood restaurants which were superb. The Shrimp Rangoon was mediocre - but edible. I asked Bree for another bowl of Botomless Bisque. I literally waited 25 minutes for that Bisque. I asked Bree what happened to the Soup and she said that "our policy is not to 'make' the soup until we get the order?!?". The table next to us were also grumbling about where there Soup was. Totally ridiculous and amateurish. Soup and Biscuits finally came out but we had to leave so asked her to put it in a To Go container. We were so upset with this meal that we ended up leaving the containers on the table. Our tab for this under-whelming, horrible service & poorly prepared food was $44.18. A complete waste of time and money to have come to Red Lobster for lunch or gawd-forbid, dinner. Well there it is. After taking my kids to Red Lobster for endless shrimp pretty much every year, this was the visit that signaled the end of the road. Before we left WA we went to the same location every year because there was only one near us. The service was frequently sub-par but the food was usually pretty solid. The service at this location was decent except for the part where they should have been asking us why we were handing them back mostly full plates of food. This was just gross and I'm pretty sure that some of our shrimp were under cooked. I can't even pinpoint what exactly was wrong with the shrimp linguine but the noodles had an odd texture, the Alfredo was watery and the shrimp seemed under cooked as well. The flavor was all wrong and I felt a bit queasy after consuming it. The teriyaki shrimp skewers were definitely under cooked and so were random shrimp in several of the other flavors. I only have one kid left at home and she was really excited for this and ended up with an upset stomach and in full agreement that this was the last time. Additionally, I do not use self check out at the supermarket and I really dislike being compelled to use it when I'm paying to eat out. We got a gift certificate for Red Lobster and we have seen a bunch of adds on tv so we decided to have a great dinner there. Well we had to wait 25 minutes for a table and yes there were several empty table but no servers for them, hence the wait. Service was slow and we had to ask for their rolls which are not as good as they were once. So we ordered the 3 course dinner of coconut shrimp. They were good maker of fact I could not eat them all. We came for dinner after a long day of work. I ordered my favorite drink lobsterita. Blake was our server. He was great. We ordered our foods. I had steak n lobster same as my boyfriend. We ordered medium rare but it came out a bit over cooked, color were pink all the way through. Blake took it back and replaced them right away. The manager, she was step in and resolved the issue. They cooked us new pieces of steak and it came out perfect. They described how they considered they steak as a medium rare should be pink all the way through. Now, I know how I should order next time and let them know it should be more on rare side.They gave us a discount which I didn't really needed that.
