My crab legs... pretty skimpy & no flavor

We stopped by after Christmas shopping on 12/23/25 didn't realized that it was crab legs night. 1 lb for $25 so I ordered one. It came out, it looked ok... a bit skinny on the legs but once cracked one open & ate it, ugh... no flavor... tasted like the boiling water that was cooked in it. It didn't have the seasoning flavor. Soooo disappointing. I didn't say anything cuz I was super hungry & didn't want to wait any longer for fresh legs. I drenched them in the melted butter which helped tremendously. I don't think it was worth the $25...

    Sailor Boil

For the tl'dr people: Service was bad and the new seafood boil lacks flavor. My friend and I had been planning to come here all week because he wanted to try out their new seafood boil. I had been seeing online that the seafood boil's quality was dependent on the location, turns out this was one of the bad locations. He got the sailor boil which has sausage, shrimp, corn, and potatoes. He got both the butters, but that didn't save it. He said the flavor was bland, but the shrimp and sausage tasted pretty good (more so the sausage). He didn't think the potatoes were cooked because they were extremely stiff and bland. For the price, he definitely wouldn't recommend getting it. I got the Chicken Linguine Alfredo, which I thought tasted pretty good, and for the price I thought it was definitely worth it. What really gives this a 2 star is the service. She was hardly attentive, got the initial drinks and biscuits but became m.i.a. until the food was ready. It wasn't like she was busy, I could see where we were sitting that she was just talking to her server friend near the front during that time. After the food got out she was somewhat attentive, but once she gave us the check my friend asked if he could get a box to go, which she just flat out ignored, and walked away while he was talking.

Our service was great, this was a large group coworker setting for us on a whim Thursday night. Red Lobster was able to easily accommodate our boisterous group with no trouble, and our server interacted with us as if we were the only ones there. Restaurant was clean, smelled great, lighting was perfect. The food came out at the perfect temperature, and the timing was spot on. And the biscuits-- a nostalgic treat. :)

    Unlimited shrimp

National chains are not usually my thing, however, how can one resist unlimited shrimp for $20... not me, that's for sure. So I ventured on in here, expecting the worst, but was pleasantly surprised by the food quality. The new crispy Dragon shrimp were a bit on the spicy side, which was to be expected with a name like that. Delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the coconut shrimp... boooh The grilled skewer shrimp were a bit bland, but good. Maybe I should have eaten those before I had those spicy shrimp. The garlic shrimp scampi and Walt's fried shrimp were good as always. To my surprise this special also came with their famous biscuits (so good) and 2 sides. I chose a small upcharge to make one of my sides a salad and I was really surprised about the quality. A light citrusy vinaigrette, just really good and fresh. I washed it all down with one of their $5 margaritas and called it a nice evening.

We came here for Valentine's Day dinner on Saturday night and only had to wait about 30-45 minutes. The food was great. The crab legs were my favorite part of my meal. Only downside was the green beans were not well seasoned. The service was okay and the waitress did bring our drink refills regularly. There was an issue with some items on the menu not being available. There was music in the lobby but no music in the seating area so it was little quiet. There was a manager often walking through the area and seemed to be urging his team kinda loudly to keep cleaning tables in order to get people waiting in the lobby to their table. I don't come here often so it was a nice treat to eat some seafood.

My wife and I had the endless shrimp. We both had the dragon fire shrimp and let me tell ya, it was awful. Don't waste your time and money on it. My bake potato was cold, couldn't melt the butter and my wife had ordered french fries which were just as cold. She had said they tasted like they were cooked. Left out and then reheated in a microwave. We had ordered the Casamigos margaritas and neither drink had tasted like no alcohol in them. My wife had gotten the tequila lime shrimp and had said the shrimp was good but the dipping sauce tasted like piss. The garlic shrimp scampi was really great along with the walt shrimp and the popcorn shrimp. Our waitress was probably the best experience of our meal this evening. Makes me sad to post a review like this.

We went on Mother's Day - so it was busy. Big group of us, but they seated us quickly, service was wonderful, and all the food was tasty. Check out all my pics, because everything was tasty. I had a white sangria, the bacon wrapped scallops, teryaki salmon and the sauteed brussels were so good. oh, don't forget the cheesy biscuits! #yum #ReviewByRL

The worst service ever they never spoke to us we begged 3 employees for our food we were supposed to have curbside but we waited for 30 min till we decided to come inside once inside nobody spoke to us

Sunset Passion Colada- I could bathe in this delicious fruit concoction!

I've been coming to this location for about 20 years. It's the best one I've been to. The restaurant is always clean and service is decent enough. I'm not a huge seafood fan. Let's be honest, we come for the cheddar biscuits. The warm and soft yet crispy cheesy biscuits. Not to say that their seafood is subpar though. It's still better than places I've visited on the coasts. I've never had better crab legs and you can find anything out there comparable to the coconut shrimp with the delicious pina colada sauce. If you like tropical drinks I highly recommend the sunset passion colada. It's sooo good. Also, if you love the seafood feast (crab, lobster, 2 kinds of shrimp) but don't want to pay the $32 price tag they have an early dinner special of petite portions for $20 on Thursday. Don't forget the 4 course meal Mon-Thursday for like $17.

    Dragon Broccoli
    Ruth Shandale T.

Brandi was so nice. I had a rough week and I needed some comfort food. You already know those cheddar bay biscuits are the truth! The dragon broccoli was literally fire. I came in for the Cajun Chicken pasta. I've had in a long time and I really was craving it. The chicken is still very tender they don't use as much sauce as they used to in the past I could have been drained a little bit more you can see the water floating in the bowl but I'm very particular about my alfredo. For the Caprice a matrices regular tomatoes onions and balsamic. I love the floor plan of the building. They have added quite a few menu items since the last time I've had a chance to go in and eat I can't wait to try all of them.

The main floor dining like a lunch vibe, but it turned out to be a cozy choice. For appetizers, we started with the cornbread after our focaccia was unfortunately not the best. Seemed to be over-proofed. The cornbread was absolutely phenomenal and a must-have! A special shoutout to our waitress, Arya, who noticed our disappointment with the focaccia and generously brought us the cornbread on the house. That kind of service is truly memorable! I also had the beets and peaches salad, which was refreshing but a tad overdressed. Still, I couldn't resist finishing the entire dish. For my main course, I ordered the lasagna, and I can confidently say it was one of the best I've ever had. It wasn't overloaded with cheese and instead complemented by mushrooms and pesto, and surprisingly light on the stomach. My husband chose the filet and rated it an 8/10, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it. We were so full by the end that we skipped dessert. The decor of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was incredibly attentive throughout our meal. The only downside was the atmosphere; coming from Chicago, we expected a more bustling vibe on a Thursday night. It seems Indianapolis is a bit quieter during the week. Overall, we had a delightful dining experience, and hats off to Arya for her exceptional service!

FLAVORFUL RESTAURANT IN A HIP PART OF INDY…read more======================================== My daughter-in-law recommended Bluebeard for dinner on Monday, June 22, 2026. I would have to say this restaurant is my favorite in Indy right now after one meal. Most of the things we shared were amazing and for a complete description please refer to my photo of the menu. We ordered the following: Burrata with Amelia's bread as an appetizer which was delicious. Gem Salad - This was amazing and I could eat it every day of the week. Stacci house made pasta - This was a big hit and I would order this every time. Hanger Steak - My husband, aka the picky eater, loved it. I didn't try it, but everyone seemed to like it. Chicken with a few dumplings - We all loved this. Three desserts to share: a cheesecake with fruit on top, one a bread pudding and a chocolate crisp. I ordered a delicious Monsoon Season cocktail with song cai vietnamese gin, cocchi americano, st. george thai basil eau de vie, elderflower, lemon and basil oil. My son and I also ordered glasses of Port after dinner. The service was great and I loved that they were playing really good rock music like Soundgarden and others. There are lots of antique typewriters above the bar and a cool print of Kurt Vonnegut by the bathrooms. I am looking forward to going again the next time my husband and I are in Indy visiting my son and daughter-in-law unless they move out of state.

Themed around Indy native Kurt Vonnegut, you'll see old typewriters, books, and names of menu items paying tribute to the famous author. The menu feels high class but the atmosphere and wait staff are friendly and welcoming. You could dress up for a special occasion or come in casual every day wear and either fit in just fine. Their ever changing menu featuring local produce and meats is always unique, inventive, and most importantly, delicious. Their cocktail list is one of the best and I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had an extensive mocktail list as well. Their sodas and syrups are all house-made which means every drink is full of fresh flavors. I had a lemon pasta dish an my husband ordered the hanger steak. Both were cooked perfectly and composed of flavors and textures that complimented each other perfectly. There's nothing that wouldn't be good on their menu because you can tell the chefs are exceptional as well as the ingredients they choose. I really can't say enough good things about this place, it remains one of my favorite places to enjoy a meal and no matter what I choose, I'm never disappointed.
