I need to preface this review with some information we go to the Johnson City Red Lobster a minimum of twice a week it was until today our favorite restaurant in Johnson City. I will say up until this point we had noticed a decline in service the decline in quality, and the decline and overall atmosphere cleanse cleanliness Etc. we had our meal. It was pretty good a little cold but overall good and it came time to pay. We use the presto payment system that sits on the table the little TV screens. My husband paid while I went to the restroom. We then sat down in the lobby to wait on our son he was in the restroom . The manager walks towards us like somethings serious is wrong. Look on her face is very serious and not friendly at all. She proceeds to tell us that we paid the wrong bill and ours was more than the table who actually had the presto that went to our table. She never once smiled. She never once apologized until I made her by telling her I found her very rude and offensive. The difference was $20. I'd gladly pay the $20 because I don't want to short anyone but I also know as a businesswoman that there is no way I would have approached someone about this problem . She was very rude. She was very silently accusatory in her manner, and in her tone, as if she thought we had tried to pull a fast one on her. I don't know how we would've done that, but that seem to be her belief in the way, that she spoke. This was not our mistake but we paid dearly but not in money. Red Lobster in Johnson City will pay too as we will never be back read more

Excellent experience!! Our visit to the Red Lobster today was excellent. There was no wait time when we arrived and was greeted warmly and professionally. The server was quick to assist us at the table. The food arrived quickly and was hot and fresh. The server Bailey was top notch and excellent very helpful with everything. I want to thank Angie, Dorris, Lamise, Hunter, Dustin, Zack and Stephanie for helping me wish my boyfriend a happy birthday. when I found out he was having dinner alone it broke my heart. I called the restaurant and spoke with Angie. I informed Angie my boyfriend is having dinner alone on his birthday. I asked if they can sing happy birthday to him because I wasn't able to be there. While I was talking to him on the phone I can hear the staff singing happy birthday. I appreciate what the staff did for me in the smile they put on his face. On my next visit To Johnson City I will stop at red lobster to thank the staff in person. On behalf of my boyfriend he stated the service was excellent and the food was fantastic. The absolute worst dining experience ever. Our wait was over an hour long to be seated. We had menus ahead of time so we could know what we wanted to order when we were seated so we wouldn't have to wait much longer. Then while we were ordering, our waitress I forms us that they are short on one vegetable, so they won't let you order it unless you order a different meal. Even after asking if we could pay extra we were told they would t give us the side vegetable. So now we have to order an extra $30 just to get the side we wanted. And she walked away while talking to her TWICE. She is inattentive and rude. Rhonda is t worst waitress I've ever had. I get that it a busy day, but if you have customers willing to pay whatever it takes to get the food they want, then just make it happen!!! read more

We called ahead almost 3 hours early for seating bc we had a party of 5 and knew they would be busy. We arrived 20 minutes early for our call ahead time - and weren't seated until almost an hour after our time. Other tables were seated ahead of us. The staff called the same parties over and over again, including parties who had already been seated. There seems to be no real system for seating - I know this location has had the pager system before, so I don't know why they didn't last night. The food was good, and our server did a great job keeping our drinks filled but the rest of the staff is extremely disorganized and inconsistent. Our table got the endless shrimp, and refills we didn't order kept coming, resulting in wasted food. I know all you can eat specials can be complicated, but I've eaten at other Red Lobsters with this deal and never experienced this kind of problem. read more

Mediocre is the word. I had the fish and chips, which the waiter recommended, in saying "I rate a seafood restaurant by how good their fish and chips are," after which he admitted that not only is the fish shipped to the restaurant frozen, but it is breaded before it is shipped and comes that way. I can save a lot of money and get Mrs. Paul's at the supermarket and it's just as good. The fries, the "chips" that come with it, were mediocre at best. The only saving grace for this meal was the bowl of clam chowder I ordered, which was decent. Overall, very mediocre for a meal that cost nearly 30 dollars before the tip. Applebees serves far better fish and chips for less money. read more

To start there was a line to be seated, the young man taking customers to their seats was overwhelmed. The waitress we had, was serving a group of 10 and our table of 4. We wanted to celebrate a birthday, we ordered drinks thinking they were on the happy hour list. The waitress did not explain what was or what wasn't on their happy hour list! The food started coming out incomplete, options were brought to our table that had not been included in the order. When we finally got the bills, we had issues with being charged too much for happy hour drinks. The waitress did explain at this point they were full price. The manager came over to reenforce what the waitress told us. No solution was arrived at but us paying full price! I do not recommend spending your hard earned money here! went to crabfest tonight and was so disappointed with the quality of the crab legs. You have to buy the dinner over $30.00 to get the good big juicey crab legs otherwise you get the wild caught crappy ones for $21.99. Never ever going there again. The baked potato was old too and the brocolli was raw. The waiter was nice though. Can you believe they have good crab for the buyers purchasing a dinner over $30 and crappy ones for the $21.99 dinner! This is so dispicable and tacky. Of all the restaurant's on this road,my misfortune I decided a bowl of bisque sounded good.Wrong !Service wasn't even as good as IHop ,McDonald. Gas Stations or Grocery Store. Sat in the bar no one was there Lindsey made me wait for my order to be taken.My split of presco arrived., order bisque ,bread arrived salty I asked what kind of biscuits are these.These were not Red Lobsters known for my bisque arrived .The bisque looked like it was plopped out of a can and microwave and some salty ligustino cold.I asked the manager for some sherry and I was told no! They don't have sherry.Please note not my first visit but will be my last.I wrapped the Cheddar biscuits in a napkin to take to my friends to taste. They removed the bisque from my bill without me asking.The silver ware was filthy thank Goodness I only need napkin. The likely hood of me eating at Red Lobster in the near future slim and none.The one star not even!I will contact corporate to report the disgusting visit.The biscuits were given to 3 friends all said nope those were not the biscuits they love from red lobster salty no cheese. We are from Annapolis visiting family and wanted to take my mother in law out to lunch. So today we went to Red Lobster. Wow it was great. I had a sirloin steak, a rock and also a regular lobster tail. First of all the salad was huge. The green beans and broccoli we fabulous..The steak was cooked perfectly and was a generous cut. The lobster was cooked perfectly and tasted wonderful. My mother in law had a great steak and shrimp and my wife's tilapia was very good. Our waiter Jamie was knowledgeable and extremely attentive. Over it was a great experience well worth the price, which compared to seafood restaurants at home was most affordable. Lyndsey our sever was Awesome. I mentioned to my husband my dissatisfaction about an item. Before I knew it she had told the manager and the situation was handled. Summer was our server tonight and she was absolutely amazing!! She was so helpful with the crab fest promotion! We can't wait to come back and see her! those cheesy garlic biscuits are seriously like crack. they are so freakin' good! i had the maui luau shrimp and salmon, very tasty. i also tried the mango mai tai, a bit too sweet for my liking but still very good. food was good. service was good. all in all pretty standard. i'd come back. read more
