Tuna Poke was ok. Biscuits were soggy, doughy and flat like someone sat on them. I would not go. I'm editing as I don't see how to reply to Alan the owner otherwise. First, thank you for the response and concern. I won't go elsewhere to respond or repeat the review. I don't need any recompense for our visit. I live over an hour away so chances of my return are slim. I'd prefer you just work to fix the issues for the next person. Get your staff to focus on quality and customer service. 1-1-21 I used the curb side contactless pick up. I arrived 7:20pm. The order was to be ready at 7:27pm, i got it at 7:45pm. I then had the person delivering it to me put it in a insulted bag for the ride home. Within the 10 min it took for me to start eating i realized ) all my shrimp were cold and baked potato ( which usually holds heat well) was luke warm. Did i mention there were about 10 cars total in the entire parking lot. What was the excuse for the slow service and cold food??! After eating my meal and 2 bites of my key lime pie (which was excessively tart) my stomach rejected everything i ate. I think the dessert was old. My stomach started churning soon as i ate it. It was more tan than anything approaching black and slightly pink inside- no flavor except the lemon and pepper I added. Grilled zucchini must have passed near the grill and not on it; watery and flavorless. Friend broccoli- raw if barely steamed. We have been here many in times. Today was not the best. We asked for our favourite waitress and another waitress took her table. We asked for her because we had her in he past and is awesome, very attentive and bilingual. That is a big plus for us since my wife is From Puerto Rico. We have been to this location several times in the past. Service has always been hit or miss, but tonight has been awful. They ran out of tilapia, but didn't tell me until well after I ordered. My daughter's dinner came out a good fifteen minutes before the rest of ours. When my dinner came, it was cold. They made a new one, but my baked potato and broccoli were undercooked and inedible. The server said she would send the manager over to talk with us. He brought out my food, but never said a word about or apologized for the problems with the food. If I could give this location a 0 I would. My husband and I went after we both hadn't been there for years, and we were really excited. It was a Tuesday night, so it was really empty, but there were a lot of servers. It took the hostess about 8 minutes to seat us and there were two of them trying to figure it out. When we were finally seated it took over 10 minutes for the waitress to acknowledge us - even though she was talking to the table right next to us about a Go Fund Me page she was working on. When we were finishing we saw the manager going to every single table and asking how they were, how the meal was, if they needed anything, etc. When he came to our table he saw that we had our "to go" boxes and all he said was "thanks for stopping by." I think if you want to get a lobster fix it's a great place to go at the moment! I went there last Friday night with my Girlfriend and we had a great dinner! I don't think it would be a place that i would like to visit more than once a year but it does the job to fill my belly. I got the surf and turf the steak was well done and i wanted medium rare. 3 stars is the absolute most I can grant to a pre-fab chain with average food and cattle-call service. We were dragged here for my mother in law's birthday and it happened during "Lobster Fest". For $30 I got the Lobster lover's plate with a very nicely done rock lobster tail, a tough, dry overcooked Main lobster tail and a small blob of baby shrimp and lobster micro-bits alfredo (I luckily was smart enough to get mine with no alfredo sauce). If there was a zero star option, I would be choosing that. I went out to dinner with my family to this location. Service Our waitress Rhonda kept making snarky remarks and was very sarcastic. She was not friendly at all to the point where the children at the table picked up on it and were hesitant to ask for condiments. One of the kids in the party has severe allergies to dairy etc so his mother requested that one of the sides be put on a separate plate if possible. Our waitress rolled her eyes and questioned why (this has never happened before). If we had any questions, we weren't able to ask her since she was by the bar hanging out. Other passing waiters were kind enough to help though. Food I usually love Red Lobster but my meal was bad. The pasta was dry, the shrimp was oily, the scampi was watery, the kids meals were also super oily. The best part of the whole meal was the salad, that's about it. There were remnants of other food in our meals i.e chunk of tomato found in plain mashed potatoes, weird thick brown sauce on a biscuit. When this was brought to our waitresses attention, she said it was butter on the biscuit (it clearly wasn't ) and got upset when a new mash was requested. I was underwhelmed by the whole experience here. I try not to visit restaurants during peak times because that is when they are most under pressure. However, by the time we were seated, the restaurant was nearly empty. Maybe Rhonda was having a bad day but that was enough for me to be over my meal after the salad. It's a chain. Yes. But it's the kind of chain that mothers and grandmothers like, and so we go. I've never had what you would call a memorable meal in a Red Lobster, but for the price, and for the mom factor, it works. Most of the time. Until tonight. I made the mistake of ordering fish and chips, and it was abundantly clear to me even before I tried to sink a fork into it that the Red Lobster chefs have no bloody idea what fish and chips are supposed to be about. The dead giveaway? The chips. A soggy pile of shoestrings. Which makes perfect sense when paired with a Bic Mac. (God forgive you for that, by the way.) NO SENSE AT ALL as part of the classic fish and chips combo. What had I expected? Big, thick-cut russets. But no. This is the first time I've ever been served MacDonald's fries with my fish. And, hey, let's talk about the fish. Wouldn't you normally picture a hefty slab of moist haddock or cod, encased in a nicely spiced, light, flaky and deliciously greasy batter? The thing they served me at Red Lobster in Montgomeryville must have been something more like flounder. It looked like a fried surfboard. The batter? Well, I'm not sure you could call it batter. More like spackling compound. It was something fried, that's for sure, but I needed a knife to saw through it. No amount of malt vinegar could save this abomination. I made it about a quarter of the way through this hard, dry, flavorless plank (it took too much effort), ate a couple of fries because I was hungry, but then just gave up. For five or six bucks, you can get a much better version of fish and chips at any Highland games. read more

A group of 6 friends met for dinner at Red Lobster in Lansdale, PA. The wait was longer than expected (nearly an hour) but I guess usual for a Friday night. The service was very good, Tonya did a very good job of taking care of us. Everyone seemed pleased with their meals. I had the Salmon New Orleans with a side of mashed potatoes and a Caesar salad. I found a lady bug in my salad, the dressing was mixed in it. I told the manager and she ask me if I wanted anything else. I said "NO" but in my mind I was thinking "HELL NO". As I was leaving she called me and give me a $25 gift card for the inconvenience, she also told me that she had the staff looking through the salad bowls to see if they found any other bugs. My husband also seen them looking through the bowls. I thinking to myself, why not get rid of the salad and put new salad out. A few years back, I found a long piece of hair floating in my water. I went here with my best friend, during peak hours on a Friday night, and I overall enjoyed the experience. I did not give them a five star rating, because we did have to wait an hour to get a table for two people. Our server was pleasant, but not overall attentive, and she did make a few mistakes. There is no prices on the cocktail menu, but our server did know the prices to almost all the drinks, and happily looked up the prices for us. The cocktail menu is nice though, there is a large selection of different spirits and different specialty cocktail items. I ordered the Bahama mama, and it was suppose to be frozen, but instead was just like a regular cocktail which was okay, but not what I ordered. However it did taste like one, and was very good. The menu was a little expensive for what you get, especially considering everything is pre portioned and pre- prepared at a factory. However, the food was good, and everything was at the right temperature. The portion size was a little disappointing for all what you pay for though. It is a little far for us to go on a daily day to day basis, but every once in a while this place is good to go to. Just need to remember not to go on a busy Friday night. And of course, the cheddar bay biscuits were amazing, although the second batch was a tad burnt. read more

OK! I went back here for a birthday dinner for my parents. I noticed that my last review was almost to the day 5 years ago! Since then, the place seems to be remodeled to be a bit more modern and less cheesy with the decor. But ambiance is usually not on the list for me to care about when I eat. Cleanliness and good service is! I didn't get the endless shrimp this time, just regular entrees. They did seem to have a reasonable combo for 16.99, a four course meal with limited choices for the entrees. The food was much better this time. The wood grilled lobster was actually seasoned quite nicely. I will say the shrimp are still, well, shrimpy. The service was a better than average. Our server was attentive and checked in on us quite a bit which was nice. It wasn't crowded at all for a Thursday night at 6:50 PM which is a departure from previous experiences. The drink and food was delicious. Unfortunately we ran into a few bumps when it came to receiving the things we ordered. There was a mix up with a drink. We had ordered a strawberry smoothie but received a non alcoholic sunset colada. We didn't receive the correct smoothie until near the end of our meal. That's also when we received the glass of water we ordered in the beginning. We had ordered extra biscuits that also arrived when we were finishing up our meal. I overheard another waitress explaining to customers the demand for biscuits on a Saturday night so the delay is understandable. I had also ordered the grilled shrimp added to my salad for $2. Unfortunately they were never added to my salad, instead they were brought with my entree. I was charge 4 something for them which they kindly removed after I mentioned the error. I'm not usually one to point out such a small price difference but there were so many mistakes during our meal that I felt it necessary in order to encourage employees to review orders before presenting to the customer. The waitress was very nice in the beginning but she seemed to lose enthusiasm as the night went on. I'm not sure if its because there were so many errors or what but she did apologize a few times. She still received a tip over 20% because I understand that the errors made were kitchen errors and not waitress errors. Had an absolutely wonderful meal here on January 2, 2018. Fantastic server, I believe her name was Chris. Clearly a veteran server. Was working the door before serving us. Very attentive, friendly. Helped me with a special order of Cajun chicken. Really made the whole thing better by just being both great at her job and pleasant too. It bugs me I'm not 100% sure of her name. Decided to have my first Red Lobster experience with my girlfriend tonight. Upon arrival the host at the front were very courteous and we were promptly sat. I went to order a drink my I.d being expired slipped my mind the waitress informed me it was illegal and could not sell me alcohol ok no big deal, but my girlfriend was not even asked for her I.d. She politely told the waitress she no longer wanted a drink and we continued on. Out utensils arrived and I unrolled my wrap to a dirty fork ok things happen. I have been a Red Lobster customer but was deeply disappointed tonight. I could not sign up for a reservation because their site did not work. When I got there I could not be seated until 6:05 so the waitress said I could not have the special which ended at 600pm. Ok,it was not too big of a thing because there was a three course special which used to be 4 but now they have cut it down to three. Ok,a bit disappointed but I ordered the salmon. I received the skinniest piece of Salmon ever and was charged $17.95 for the meal. I have had it there before and never got a piece that thin. One time they gave me too small a piece but not like this. It was little and thin. Maybe they should have caught another salmon. I could not log in to get my points either. I guess it has something to do with the site. I am not sure I want to go back. I only went tonight to use up my reward.They are very inconsistent in their meals.You might get a good meal and you might not. You might have a great server or you might have one that is mediocre at best. You can take your chances but I would like to find a more consistent restaurant. read more

The pros: The server was very attentive and professional (she forgot one item, but not a big deal...we had enough to eat, and she didn't charge us for it). The decor was fresh and modern, definitely not nearly as fuddy-duddy as I remember, and I see from a previous reviewer that there's been an upgrade. My companion loved her lobster tail, her salad, the cheese biscuits, and the apple crostini. The cons: My Bar Harbor salad with shrimp had lots of shrimp...but it was rubbery, rubbery shrimp. Why did I think it would be different this time? The real con: The place smelled vaguely of sewage. Maybe this was just a problem on one day (July 15), but it wafted through the dining room. I don't think it was the regular seafood smell. (At least I hope it wasn't.) When I went to the restroom, I found a possible source. The floor leading from one of the other toilets to the other toilets was wet in a way that suggested a leak from the toilet. I ended up having to roll up my pant legs to make sure that I didn't get piss, or piss water, on my jeans. And I'm obviously not a squeamish person...I ate voluntarily at a Red Lobster, after all! That said, my companion, who fits into RL's older demographic, loved her meal, so I can't give it one star. (That said, I hear that one's senses dull with the years.) read more

Online ordering went well, my husband went to pick up the food on his way home from work, but he had to remind them about our lobster & shrimp topping for our caesar salad (which is extra) and unfortunately, they forgot our 2nd baked potato for our other son. We didn't bother to call. Not for one potato. And who wants to drive back out when your kids are hungry waiting on their Friday night take out? I agree with the other poster about the quality of the food; it was worse than when we dined in: the lobster tail looked dried out and the breading was falling off of the butterfly shrimp. We ordered $60 worth of food. We could have spent that elsewhere, but we really had a taste for fish (and RL's biscuits). So, we will either dine in next time, or order online where the food quality is better. I'm on a budget so I always do the 4 for $16 and I can never eat it all. I always get an Alfredo dish and without fell they never put enough Alfredo sauce. No need to talk about the biscuits we all know they are delicious and they always bring them to the table hot. The servers are always coming to the table to check on you and I rarely have to wait and extend period of time for my first dish (no more than 10 mins). On the weekends and Fridays they are extremely crowded. It gets pretty bad sometimes. So I would do a call in reservation. You can never go wrong with the fried calamari and stuff mushrooms. Ate there last tax time, and the lobster tail was awful! So I got a different one, (I thought), but it was the same one, awful. Didn't send it back again cause I didn't want anyone's bodily fluid in it anywhere, you never know what their doing to people's food back there. I didn't want to chance it.
