Red Lobster has large quantity meals for a reasonable price. Tonight, our party of 5 started with stuffed mushrooms which were very rich and tasty. I had the shrimp lettuce wraps, which were pretty decent. My party collectively had the lobster pizza, blackened salmon, ultimate feast and the sirloin. We all seemed to enjoy the food. The never ending biscuits are delicious and they have a good selection of beer and other alcoholic drinks. The service was good. The hostess stand said the wait would 20-25 min and were seated in 5 minutes (HUGE plus!). The service was also good. In general, Red Lobster has decent food with good service. I don't know what's been going on here as of late but it use to be my favorite spot to save up for and treat myself. The last two times however it has been a disappointment. The lobster tail was under cooked and the shrimp tasted odd. I eat a lot of seafood whenever I can so it was not my imagination. So we came here last Saturday after my grandfather's funeral. The waitress was good with watching out for my kids allergies. But the cooks apparently thought it was ok to serve our entire (yes, entire ) group frozen mashed potatoes. Now, (by accident) a bunch of us have to try to remove cocktail sauce from our NEW suits and dress shirts too, that were spilled on. We came here to have a going away dinner for my parents. There was 5 of us total and since it was a Tuesday night, we were thinking that this was a good time to go here because it wouldn't be so packed. We have tried several times to go on a weekend but it is always a long wait. Walking in, we realize that we were correct and we were seated right away. Once we got seated that's when things started to go bad. Our server was an older lady so we were prepared for a little delay, but what we got was major delays. It felt like the flight delays I experienced from last week's trip. Drinks came out late and all we ordered was water and ice tea. When she came out with the drinks, we told her we were ready to order, but instead she went to the next table to tend to them. She acknowledge that she heard us, but didn't come back until what felt like 10 minutes later. I was happy to see that the Endless Shrimp deal was still going on and so I ordered that. For $20 a person, I thought that was going to be a hell of a good time in my mouth for cheap. Boy was I wrong. My first round of shrimps was the Garlic Butter Scampi and the Nashville Hot. The Garlic Butter was okay.. I've had better. The Nashville Hot was not good. Shrimps were breaded, had this what's-supposed-to-be-spicy rub, and coated with honey. It was more sweet than anything else. I couldn't finish it. My next round of shrimps were the Mediterranean. First round of this, the shrimps were all raw. And my gluttonous dumb self, I ate 1 of them. It was the texture in my mouth that made me realize I was eating uncooked shrimp. I told one of the servers, who then alerted the manager and our server. She said the manager will be coming to talk to us, which never happened. 2 more Mediterraneans came. Yes, I ate them all. And they were cooked all the way through. But again, the flavors were lacking. They are supposed to be drizzled with lemon herb-butter sauce, but all you taste is the butter... No lemon.. No herb. I know that they use the lower quality batch of shrimps (frozen for ages) for this special, but one would hope that they would put that extra effort in cooking them. When I was served raw shrimp, no one seemed surprised. One server even joked when he brought more Mediterranean. He said, "One order of fully cooked Mediterranean Shrimp". We've ordered through door dash numerous times from Red Lobster, it's our little nice meal thing with out actually going out. We generally order the same thing every time because we each like our specific things and that's why we like Red Lobster. Tonight I ordered our same order, he loves the crab linguini alfredo with extra sauce and I do the make your own two choice. Our order arrived and we paid $25 for an order of crab linguini alfredo that is half of what we normally get. Not even a normal entree container. WTF! At this point I won't be ordering from the chain restaurant but the seafood restaurant independently owned and operate near me. Went with my dad for his birthday. Our server was a great guy but it took forever to get anything. My dad's meal was overcooked and oversalted. We had to send it back. By the time we received it, we wanted to leave. The manager had to keep intervening. I was furious by the time we left. My dad had to get his meal to go. We were there for an hour and a half. We had to request to pay at the front to get our credit card back. The server mentioned he was overwhelmed so I don't know if was an isolated incident or what. read more

My husband and I were here over the weekend. I specifically asked if they could keep butter off my food, that I'm allergic to dairy. The reply was "no problem". My husband and I went here for our birthdays dinner a couple weeks ago. It is their Crabfest. My husband ordered the Bar Harbour Bake(I think that's what its called), it was AMAZING! Highly recommend ordering this meal. I however got the stuffed shrimp and steak. The stuffing for the shrimp was really soggy and hard to eat. The steak was decent, the mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box. However our server was very polite and checked in often, but not too much. read more

I ordered to go, like I have many times in the past, but when I got home I and saw the extra lobster tail that I ordered was burnt to a crisp and the crab stuffed mushrooms were runny. I called the store and they said they would send me the refund for it in the mail. I never got the refund and called their Florida Headquarters, needless to say, I have never gotten a response or my money back. When I followed up with the "restaurant" to see where my money was, I was told that since I reported them to their headquarters that they were no longer involved, so my money has never been refund! I am so very disappointed with my pick up order last weekend. I had ordered mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, coconut parrot bay shrimp and cheddar biscuits. The mozzarella sticks were small and very light in color and tasted worse than any I have purchased at the grocery store, not to mention I had asked for marinara sauce and I can't idea what they gave however, it was not marinara sauce. The chicken tenders we're over cooked and hard along with being very small and tasteless. The biscuits were okay, however, extremely small, nothing like you get at the restaurant.Now on the bright side the coconut parrot bay shrimp were awesome. Having gone to this Red Lobster for many years, it was very disappointing, to boot this was a little celebration. We were approximately 30 minutes from the Red Lobster and only had a limited amount of time so going back was not an option. With take out being your bread and butter you would think you would go above and beyond to get customers to came back. The woman was also annoyed when she asked for my spot number and the sign was gone. We the only person out there so not so hard to not see us. At the last minute dropping off a rental car my wife says let's have dinner at Red Lobster. I had noticed the restaurant driving in, but we have had a checkered past with Red Lobster. Anyway we were very pleased across the board. Service was great no wait, apps we good, the seafood corn balls though we would not get again. The following dishes were much better than we anticipated. Fish & Chips, coleslaw, clam chowder, langostino mashed potatoes, tomato & cheese salad, biscuits. We plan on returning once in awhile as we are not close, though we do drive by once in awhile. Went to Red Lobster with some friends this afternoon. Since I have a shellfish allergy, I ordered the fish & chips. I've eaten them in London and lots of them in Australia when I visit. I assumed Red Lobster should serve up awesome fish & chips. When it was presented to me, I was pretty surprised. The fish was sliced so thinly & overcooked that it curled up as it fried & it looked like a large snail when served. It was presented on top of a smallish side of fries. The coleslaw was okay. The edible portion of the fish was probably 3 ounces. My friends noticed & urged me to complain. Since I once had a friend who embarrassed at many restaurants, I didn't want to be THAT person. When I finally mentioned this to our server, she said she would talk with the manager. When I was presented with the full bill, with no acknowledgement from the server, I realized I was blown off. Every time we come in here we have a great experience. The food is good and the staff is wonderful. Last week we came in for a late dinner and was sat next to the worst table! They were playing Rap very loudly on their cell phone, but weren't there long, luckily. After they left we were chatting about it with the waitress, she got the manager and they really took care of us, which was totally unexpected! Great service. The entire team there is on fire. Went in for all you can eat shrimp and they were quick and delicious. The adult beverages are amazing and all the flavors of shrimp are top notch. The idea of it being a chain is kind of disappointing, because I automatically assumed that it'd be sub-par at best. I went here with my boyfriend, a vegetarian. We each ordered their three course meal option (surprisingly affordable, though I don't remember what we ordered exactly), from our server who was an older lady. Can't think of any downsides to my visit to Red Lobster. You constantly get service and a menu that was full of choices. The Prices AND portions were great. We had friendly and prompt service, plus the building was very clean and respectable. First visit to this particular location. Service was top-notch from the moment we walked in. Our server Brandon was the utmost professional and attentive server we've had in a very long time. He didn't even write down our orders so I thought for sure he would get something wrong but nope. He nailed it! He never let our drinks get less than half empty and was constantly checking on us. Even the manager came by to see how things were. The restaurant was very clean - I'm particular about that. The food was delicious (I highly recommend the mashed sweet potato side). We stopped at this Red Lobster mainly for the "Endless Shrimp." I would say the service was good and so was the quality of the food. To be honest, the "Endless Shrimp" is about the only time of the year we stop here as its the only time we can afford it. Our waitress was friendly and kept up on our shrimp refills. We go here every couple months, and went last night for dinner. The meal was great, but the lobster tails we got were unbelievably overcooked. Anyone who has ever cooked lobster should have been able to tell this just by touching the tail meat, but clearly the chef didn't care. We ate the lobster, because it was still pretty tasty, and mentioned it to the waiter. He was happy to bring us a replacement, but I see that as a gross waste of food. I mentioned it to him so that he could mention it to the chef, and maybe also give us a discount for having served such overcooked seafood. Not sure that he did either, which is disappointing. Next time I'll be sure to send everything back if it's not perfect. Aside from that, perfect shrimp, perfect scallops, and perfect lobster. read more

Very great food and service! Calling out Mariah for being super awesome! She was super busy but still had the effort and courtesy to check in with us every few minutes. Haven't enjoyed customer service like this in awhile. Plus it must've been family night or something (Friday) because we were a little hesitant to bring our rambunctious 5 year old, but there were plenty of other families to accompany us. Went there for Crabfest. Hard to choose. I thought the prices were a bit too high, though, for crab legs you have to crack yourself. I ordered the crab imperial in a shell with grilled shrimp. The imperial was only so-so, the shrimp really good. Biscuits were warm and tasty as usual. Our waiter, Chad, was really good.
