Update: ( it's been 3 days later and I still really have a bad headache). Food was way to salty

Just went back today it was very good like last time look like the managers and the staff doing a great job please keep it up

We haven't been to a Red Lobster in a few years and won't be going back in the future after our last experience.... We came in on a Saturday around 4:00. The restaurant didn't seem too busy but we had a 25 minute wait for a table. Other customers would come in but go right back out because of the long wait times. After the 25 minute wait we finally got a table. The place seemed to be short on staff because our waitress was working tables in two rooms. We had to ask her for multiple things over again because she kept forgetting to bring them. Once we ordered it took over an hour to receive our food. We should have gone somewhere else. Next time. I made an appointment for me and my family of 6 at the oak lawn red lobster at 6:40 and we arrived exactly on time we let the crew know we were fasting for our Holy Month of Ramadan . The crew was polite and tried to get us seated and even offer us biscuits to break our fast while we waited for our table once our table was ready the manager STACY came and said that we can't sit there that he was gna seat another party who had no reservations and told us that we can sit by the bar knowing that we are Muslims. When I told STACY why would I sit by the bar if I had reservations and the other party didn't and I waited over 30 minutes and he said he didn't care it was clear that STACY is racist!!!!! Pleasantly surprised! After church my husband and I used the gift card our granddaughter gave us for Christmas. We were seated almost immediately. Service was quick and fast. Our orders were right. I had the flounder sandwich with no tarter sauce and I didn't have to scrape off a bunch of sauce I didn't want. Husband had the trout entree. Food was excellent! read more

I can't believe I forgot to take pictures of the food so all you have from me is the bag picture...sorry! We got there just as they were opening so it didn't take long to be seated. Our waitress was so funny and sweet. She made the best Lobsterita and Long Island Ice Tea. Although, it wasn't a lot of people there she didn't hover over us but she did check in on us to make sure everything was to our liking. We started off with the stuffed mushroom not the best but it was still tasty. I had The Creamy Potato Bacon soup which was very good I could have licked the bowl...that's how much I liked it. I absolutely love love Red Lobster I have been getting the Ultimate Feast for years. I keep saying I will try something else and I have once or twice but this is my go to dish. My friend had the Salmon and it was so moist and flaky he was very impressed. The garden salad was fresh but I didn't eat mine while I was there because I had so much food I couldn't dive into the bowl lettuce. The biscuits came out warm and we were trying not to fill up on the bread but it was so hard not to keep grabbing a piece of that buttery goodness. The waitress Naiya was snarky and had the nerve to lie to us and tell us the kitchen was behind when we learned she didn't put our order in for 45 mins after the order was taken. Update 2/16/20 evening: Now my 11 year old son is sick too. We have both been in and out of the bathroom all day. Unless you want to get food poisoning, I would highly suggest you stay away from this location. 2/16/20 afternoon review: This location needs to shut down. It just keeps getting worse everytime we are there. We went yesterday and our food was tasteless. Crab legs had no flavor and were full of water. Fried shrimp was like it was cooked and reheated. Lobster tails were like rubber. I am super sick today and it's not surprising because I am always sick after eating here. I only go back once a year hoping it will be better because my son likes to go and we do it as a treat for him. I think red lobster is now a place to get an upset stomach for a tasteless, bad & overpriced meal. We will never go back. Time to find a real seafood place that offers quality for the price and no stomach bug afterwards. read more

If no star was an option, I would give them 0 star! This location is the worst of all the red lobster locations. They always make a mistake on an order. How does no one check before giving the food to the customers. It's disgusting in the dining area. I don't even want to see what the kitchen look like. But then again I don't have to see it to turn me off from ever getting food from here again. The quality of their food is enough of a turn off. Online or phone ordering was established to avoid waiting time. That should have meant that after you are told online that your food would be ready at a certain time, you would think it would be ready around that time. Waiting for the online order is pretty much waiting for a table! The cashier at the take out window stated that they do not start cooking the food until you arrive there! That is so not the point of online/phone ordering!! That totally defeats the purpose of that. Might as well get a table and eat the food there. But doing so would make me lose my appetite from the filthy tables and flooring. I always give a chance when I have a bad experience with an establishment. I've given this place more chances than they deserve. I will never go to this place with their rude employees ever again. read more

We have order again and for the 5th time, food was missing. We have it DoorDash as a family meal and EVERY SINGLE TIME, we are missing someone's dinner! I have been ordering from DoorDash for over two years and this is the only one restaurant that has done this FIVE TIMES IN A ROW. So I decided to bring my aunt and my mother to red lobster. The place was kind of full and we sat in the bar area to get seated faster. The waitress Ashlee was fantastic. She was managing the bar and each and every table very efficiently. She was the first person I have ever seen in red lobster bring out two trays of food at one time. If you're ever in Oak lawn and one excellent service come to the bar at red lobster and see Ashlee. She will serve you and keep a smile on your face at the same time. The bar area is dirty, food and paper all around the floor. The bartender has not cleaned the bar off, what is the manager doing. From the looks of this place it look like it is going down. Sorry, this place is Ghetto! I love Red Lobster, but I've had much better service at other locations. I was there last week for a bday and we had a party of 10. It seems that there was something wrong with everyone's dish. Either it was missing something or it wasn't cooked right. One person had undercooked lobster and another had rubbery steak that was cooked way too much. I ordered a salmon & shrimp dish but I only got my salmon. I had to tell the waitress that half of my meal was missing and I received the shrimp after everyone was done eating. Our drinks were served about 20 minutes after we ordered them and our meals took forever! In addition, our dishes weren't clean. We had to ask several times for new silverware and plates because it looked like they were just rinsed and not scrubbed/soaped. Gross! We had 3 waitresses serving our table and it was still a mess. Ordered a to go order on 9-15-20 . First off I was annoyed that I asked for a baked potato but got mashed potatoes. My scampi was overcooked and my pasta ....well it looked a little different but I'm pregnant and I was hungry so I tried to eat it anyway but it smelled like mop water and I knew something was off so I tossed it . Yesterday I had the worst experience from this establishment . Uncooked lobster tails and my mussels didn't open. I told them and they did replace with new ones, but the mussels they returned had been pried open and you could tell they were closed too because the shells were broken up into small pieces. There were no crackers for the crab because I was told by the waitress "they had not washed the dishes yet" and by the time I did receive them my food was cold. No large containers for my take home. Wish there was a -NEGATIVE star rating available, and admittedly a big dummy - should have read my last review from 2012. Came here around 6pm on New Years Eve (last minute decision). Ordered the lobster bake, my husband ordered the Bar Harbour seafood bake. Mine had half done/raw potatoes and a freezing at the core corn on the cob. Hubby's bake was ALL cold. Complained to waiter, manager comes and hears our complaints. MANAGER comes back with a plate with potatoes rolling around plate and a new piece of corn for me - no sign of my lobster bake dish. So I'm supposed to eat some lonely dry potatoes on a dish with a side of reheated corn on the cob . Also, my fancy Caramel Appletini arrived - IN A WHISKEY glass. Not a big deal, but the caramel swirls on the glass just made the glass look very dirt. And the cherry?!?! What CHERRY?!?! I got not one, but TWO empty cherry stems!!!
