Had a descent visit at Red Lobster East San Jose Ca, they used to have one on the south side Almaden Expressway but it closed down. My favorite plate that they do not make anymore was the Shrimp Louie Salad. On a hot day like to 100 degrees. A nice cold salad does wonders for your body temp. I will have to go to other restaurants that make those types of salads. So I decided to get the Lobster Flat bread and clam chowder soup with a glass of filtered water. The male waiter Jorge was very attentive and professional taking care of me. I would rate them a 5 star IF they still carried a shrimp and crab salad. The basic cesar side salad is not 5 star material. Thanks Red Lobster I will be back some day.

Red lobster have redeemed themselves. It has been a while since I've ate at red lobster and it was pretty decent. The starter was the free cheese bread and oh my gosh, it was amazing. The bread was so soft and crumbly. The aroma of the bread was so good. You just want to eat it nonstop. The lobster queso dip was decently good. It's literally lobster with cheese. Can't go wrong with that. Now the main course which is the seafood boil. I'm not gonna lie. It is such a small portion. I expected to be a little bit more for about $55 but overall it was good. The flavoring was not too salty then there was a lot of meat in the crab. But like I said, i wish there were more. The service was great. The server kept on coming back asking How's the food and if we need anything? Overall, I would definitely come back to red lobster.

This review is for the Endless Shrimp! I saw this advertised on Instagram, and I believe they'll offer it until June 2026. Traffic coming here was rough on a Monday evening, but we made it! There was no wait, and I made sure my Red Lobster app was still downloaded to get my points LOL Endless Shrimp ($29.99): So worth the deal. I think I ate 35 shrimps (pieces of shrimp?) when I hit my limit. I was so excited I forgot to take pictures of the darn food, so sorry. Here's what I can tell you! Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp (fried): My friends were thrown off by the coconut taste, but this was actually my favorite. It came with a side of coconut sauce which I loved dipping it in! Walt's Favorite Shrimp (fried): Classic fried shrimp, easy to chow down and dipped in cocktail sauce. Marry Me Shrimp (not fried): Really liked the tomato cream sauce, might get too salty if you eat it all at once. All not-fried shrimp items came in a really hot plate, as a warning for your fingers. These could be popped in your mouth in one bite lol Garlic Shrimp Scampi (not fried): I preferred this over Marry Me Shrimp! I really liked the garlic taste. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo (not fried): That Alfredo sauce hit the spot and the linguini was softer than al dente, which is my usual preference. Easy to get full off carbs so I ate just the shrimp LOL In your first order, you choose 3 from the above and a basic side (the hush puppies were bomb, mashed potatoes were classic). When every order arrived, our waitress asked if we'd like to order 2 more shrimp dishes to keep the endless theme going. I think we ordered 4 or 5 rounds! We saved the biscuits to take home since we didn't want to be too stuffed :P Our only goal was literally just to eat shrimp LOL I don't think I'll come back for it again only because I ate too darn much and I've lived the hype and I'm now satisfied, but I will come back for happy hour!

Usually most pasta dishes don't fill you up at other restaurants. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp! I was beyond stuffed! They did not skimp out on the shrimp too! The service was wonderful. Our waiter came back to keep offering refills on the biscuits which is enough to want to keep coming back!

Seafood was good. Lobster tails and crab legs with added melted butter were delish. Broccoli was overcooked and soggy. Linguini pasta with shrimp was not as flavorful as I had hoped it'd be. Server was attentive and came back to check on us. Ambience was clean and very quiet. Not very crowded.

It's pretty solid. You get what you pay for. I kind of miss the good old days when Red Lobster used to be the it spot but I think the workers just never knew how to manage the upkeep of these restaurants anymore. I'm not talking about the current team members as I'm sure most of them are new and not tenured, but you can smell the old and worn down furniture and I feel all Red Lobsters have that "moldy" smell that is stronger than the aroma of the food, it's sad. Otherwise, I'll always enjoy my food. The clam chowder is my favorite and I'll always recommend it.

Red Lobster is still around, although we had to travel over an hour to get to the nearest one. Honestly, it wasn't too bad. You know exactly what you're going to get, and it's always a good time. Just like everywhere else, prices have gone up, portions have gone down, and the quality has changed a bit due to inflation and shrinkflation. That said, we still gotta eat. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and Red Lobster remains our favorite spot. Even though it's now an hour away, we were happy to make the trip. We enjoyed everything, had plenty of leftovers, and truly enjoyed the day together. Overall, Red Lobster is still a solid place for seafood. Things have changed, but the experience, familiarity, and memories keep us coming back. The ambience is what you would expect from a chain seafood restaurant.

My honest review of this place wouldhave honestly been -- y'all can do much better than this. Although this Red Lobster did really well in making sure we were taken well of, the hospitality and ambiance of this place really fell short of my expectations and honestly, it really disappointed me. Ample parking at night, which we were not surprised given it was 7:00pm in the evening. We were served right away, as most restaurants normally treat their customers. However, this was where my experience of this restaurant went down -- they served the sides first without any explanation, and our appetizers did not come until later. I'm very confused as to why they did this. In addition, the menu was absolutely limited for vegetarians -- since everything had some sort of meat, it was nearly impossible to order for them since the only thing that they could have was a cheese alfredo pasta kinda thing. I had ordered myself a Sesame Soy Salmon Bowl -- and while the bowl itself was very delicious, it lacked sauce, flavor, and umami. The Brussel sprouts were undercooked, and it had a really stenchy smell. We had asked several waitresses several times for cutters for the crab feast, but we never got them, and when asking for them, they were absolutely ignorant and did not heed to our expectations. For future celebrations especially for birthdays, I don't know if I'll be back again honestly.

A long overdue review. This was my first time at Red lobster and it honestly blew my expectations! I came with my Aunt and cousin to try it out as they were new to the area. The service was good but we had to constantly ask for the same thing like some forks or knives from our waiter, do I recognize it was a particularly busy day at the restaurant so I'm assuming that is not always the case. We were seated in a very nice area. Seats and boots are comfortable. The lighting is great. Now the food I got was spectacular. We came during Lobster fest 2026 and I tried their crispy dragon teriyaki lobster and Lobster pasta au gratin and they were phenomenal! Especially the teriyaki lobster. This experience actually made me change my mind about lobster because I previously did not like it. The Lobster pasta au gratin was perfectly cheesy and crispy on the outside with the breadcrumbs, and you could actually taste the lobster pieces in the pasta. The Crispy dragon teriyaki lobster was seasoned to perfection! Spicy and slightly sweet. No complaints. The hushpuppies were good too. My only 'complaint' with the food is that the complimentary bread isn't anything to write home about but since I don't pay for it, I'm not factoring it into my review. I wanted to go back to Red Lobster last week but I found out that these meals were limited items, much to my dismay. I had been thinking about them a lot. I hope they bring these back in their next event or perhaps make it a permanent item on the menu. Also, not pictured, but my cousin got their lobster sea food boil with the 3 butter blend and that was also really good. 10/10

Came to check the new rebranding of this place. Was interested in the seafood boil, but it seemed a bit too pricey. Lobster & shrimp linguini (4/5): Comes with creamy lobster sauce. I thought the noodles were perfect and there was plenty of lobster and shrimp. Save deal (5/5): Popcorn lobster, shrimp Alfredo, and shrimp scampi all for $18. Do I need to say more. Definitely the best value in this economy Overall I really enjoyed the rebrand

    Joanna L.

Red Lobster's a childhood comfort place for me, but this is my first time back since the rebrand (shoutout Damola Adamolekun). As good as I remember :) I'm a cheddar bay biscuit fanatic, and I could genuinely eat 20 of these in one sitting without getting tired of them. The workers are always super sweet, offering to bring back more biscuits. I ordered the grilled lobster, shrimp, and salmon signature feast + mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts while my friend ordered the surf and turf signature feast. I feel like people may overlook Red Lobster since it's a chain, but I've always been very satisfied with the seafood quality. The lobster, shrimp, and salmon were all tender and fresh. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and I loved the brussel sprouts so much - the soy ginger sauce is addictive. I didn't try the surf and turf my friend got, but they cleared the entire plate, so that should speak for itself! Next time I'm trying the seafood boil!

It's been a while since we came to red lobster. We were craving the cheese biscuits so we had to come and have some. Came in on a Saturday and lucky for us there was no line so we were seated right away. It was a quiet afternoon and everyone seemed to be enjoying their dinners. Ambience was very pleasant. Had to get an order of coconut shrimp and as always, they are always very good and the pineapple sauce complements it perfectly. The coconut shrimp were a hit. Ordered the stuffed muchrooms and I was a bit disappointed because they were a little bland added some salt and they were OK. Grandson ordered the salmon and he was very happy with his entrée. He said it was very flavorful and that he really liked it. I ordered the Cajun pasta with chicken which was consistent with flavor from my other visits here. This is my go to entrée. However I was full after the Caesar salad, cheese biscuits, stuffed mushrooms, and the coconut shrimp,

Ive been coming to this Red Lobster for years, and im really glad they added the boil. It has a nice spice and the shrimp and corn is delicious, the potato and sausage was kinda bland though despite the sauce. There should be more sauce so I can dip into it. We did bring our own wine the corkage fee was $10 so please bring a wine thats worth more than that haha. The biscuits are not how they use to be though and I wish they were as cheesy and toasty as they use to be. I will say the boil took a bit longer than usual to come out, the gloves they provide do a great job in keeping your hands clean, they arent the cheap gloves. Gabriela was nice and helped us out. Its a quiet atmosphere thats very intimate and perfect for a lil date night.

It is one of the pricier burger options around, but you can literally customize your burger to your hearts content (or other sandwich type). We have had their burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and a salad - kale quinoa. Quality of ingredients - really high, really delicious meat. Lettuce and ingredients in salad were fresh, and plentiful. Portion size - a large fry or a large onion ring feeds my whole family - when it says large, it is large.I did not trust the first time and ended up with WAY more fries than we needed. But fun fact - these reheat really well! Some do not, these are great the next day in the air fryer (same as onion rings) The only disappointing item for my son was the chicken tenders, they were very small and mostly breading. Kind of felt like we had the last remnants of a batch. Good flavor overall, just not a lot of chicken and overall this was the smallest portion size, even for a kid size. And we order from them all: Mojo, Habit, The Burger Lounge. I would rank the Stand higher than these others for quality, flavor and menu selection. But definitely at a higher price point. One thing to keep in mind - paying for McDonalds these days is close to paying for one of these higher-quality spots and I will pay more $$ any day of the week to ensure higher quality ingredients and choices.

It took about 20-30 minutes for her to come back and take our food order after we placed our initial drink orders with her. Throughout the dinner, her demeanor felt very passive aggressive, and there were several moments where we felt like we were being given attitude despite everyone in our group being polite. My friend asked for extra olives with his martini and she responded with a rude "Really?" while making a face. It was such an unnecessary reaction to a totally simple and normal request. She also recommended that we order family style, which we followed, but the pacing between courses was extremely slow. We waited around 30+ minutes between our pasta and our protein entrees. For a restaurant that specifically recommends family style dining, the courses should be paced more appropriately so the table isn't sitting around waiting for the next round of food. The birthday cake situation was also frustrating. We had given our cake to the hostess when we arrived, but I guess our server was never notified of that. When I asked about a candle, she said she would bring it out with the birthday dessert, but brought out the restaurant's dessert instead. When she realized we had our own cake, she immediately took the bill back and said she needed to add the cake fee. The issue with that was we weren't asking them to cut or plate the cake. We just wanted to sing Happy Birthday, then have it boxed back up. She had assumed we wanted the cake service without actually asking us, and when we clarified, her response was, "Well, that's why I asked earlier," even though she hadn't actually asked us. None of us gave her a hard time or were anything but polite throughout the evening, which made the repeated attitude especially disappointing. The food wasn't terrible and the drinks were great, the restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere, but spending around $900, which included a 20% automatic gratuity, you'd expect the service to match the price point, even though service should always be good regardless. Unfortunately, the poor service really overshadowed what was supposed to be a nice birthday dinner for my friend and left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths.

We tried the steak tacos, smoked chicken lollipops, skirt steak, creamed spinach, and mashed potatoes, and there honestly wasn't a single thing we wouldn't order again. The meats were cooked perfectly, the sides were fantastic, and everything had so much flavor. We were already talking about what we'd reorder on our next visit! One thing to know before you go is that they don't take reservations, so if you're walking in during a busy time, there's a good chance you'll have a bit of a wait. Thankfully, you can grab drinks from the bar and sit outside while you wait, which made it really enjoyable and didn't feel like an inconvenience at all. Great food, great atmosphere, and absolutely worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

Onto the food...rib eye steak, at $58, was cooked perfectly. Not overdone and tasty with garlic butter on top. Also a decent cut of meat that wasn't tough. Price is acceptable for a 16 oz size steak of this quality. Lobster rolls as an appetizer, were just the right portion if you're not too hungry and don't want to eat a full meal. Good lobster to dough ratio and the sauce it came with was adequate. Friendly service and the restaurant was staffed appropriately for the number of patrons it had. Clean and welcoming interior. Parking lot is available.

The jerk sauce should come with a warning because it's friggin addictive, but be warned it's 0.39 cents a pop and they are very tiny containers. I usually order the jerk chicken or the oxtail, but on my last visit I tried the jerk pork... and WOW. My mouth is watering writing this review. Don't skip their special yellow juice, it's refreshing and pairs well with the food. Service is usually pretty quick, especially considering everything is made fresh. Love this place!

The service was super friendly and accommodating, like talking to family. There were so many good options and the prices were affordable! Especially, for Caribbean food. My partner kept telling me how good of a find this place was and I felt accomplished, LOL! We got excited because this is probably one of our favorite cuisines. We ordered the goat curry, mac and cheese, mixed veggies, collard greens, vegetable curry, beef patty, and two orders of fried cornmeal bread... all for a family of 3 (the 3rd human being a 14 month old hahaha). I thought I can give the baby the vegetable curry, but it turned out to be too spicy so hence why we got the mac and cheese and plain mixed veggies. Everything was fire! Maybe with the exception of the collard greens because that tasted like it was cooked in tabasco or something. Their juices were good too! Portions are generous. Luckily, we had leftovers to enjoy the next day. The beef patty was yummy, but I do wish it came with some type of dipping sauce. All the dishes tasted authentic, I felt like I was back in Jamaica. Everything comes in to-go containers which is convenient. They provide paper plates if you want to dine there. The restaurant is maintained well and clean. I hope they expand across East Bay area as it seems many of their locations are mainly in South Bay/Peninsula.

Because of this, it's a pretty quiet spot and service is quick/attentive. It's quite a vast menu and we have only come for brunch; so far our favorites are the Korean Fried Chicken Waffle as well as the Sides - particularly the Ube and Pandan waffles. The KFC Waffle is a Pandan waffle (sense a theme? ) - it's such a good twist on the traditional dish. The other entrees we had were pretty good but not standouts like this. Added bonus: The Potato side options that come with most entrees are really good too. Baby Bear likes the curly fries and I like the potatoes with brussel sprouts - all of it crispy goodness. All in all this is a pretty decent spot when in the Evergreen area.

It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air and made for a really relaxing atmosphere. The restaurant has a great vibe overall, especially if you're looking for an outdoor brunch. (Have not been inside) I ordered the steak chilaquiles, and I'd give them a 8.5/10. The flavors were really good, the sauce was delicious, and I liked the addition of the eggs, avocado, and queso. My only complaint was the steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it came out medium well, a bit dry and was tougher than expected, making it difficult to cut. It was still tasty--just not cooked quite the way I was hoping. The mimosas were good too, a great value. Nothing that really stood out as amazing, but definitely nothing bad about them either--they got the job done. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server Rebecca was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly quick throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times, answered our questions confidently, and made us feel well taken care of without ever being overbearing. Overall, I'd come back, especially to sit on the patio again. With a more tender steak, this meal would've easily been an 8.5 or 9 out of 10!! :)

That's blatant racism, and it happened while I was a paying customer. Staff did nothing to address it in the moment. Understandably upset and shaken, I had too much to drink afterward. My family came and drove me home safely. Rather than addressing what actually happened -- a customer being racially harassed on their premises -- management's response was to ban me, not the person who harassed me. If a business allows this kind of harassment to go unaddressed and then punishes the target of it for reacting, that's a real problem, not a minor service issue. This is the San Francisco Bay Area. We should expect better than this. Avoid this place if you don't want to find out how they'll treat you when something like this happens to you.
