This is more of a take out spot rather than a dine in place. There was only 3 small tables and in general, the shop is small. I read the reviews about inventory selling out, but I tried calling twice and no one answered the phone. I attempted to call because I don't live in San Jose, but I made the drive regardless to try Crawfish Bros. Luckily, they were still in stock on a Sunday around 6pm. For my review, I did not get a chance to eat the seafood boil until one hour later. So when I got home, I reheated it a bit. What I ordered: 1 lb of NOLA crawfish, 1 lb of garlic butter shrimp, 3 potatoes, 1 corn, and 1 sausage. Potoates, corn, and sausage were considered extra. In total, I spent about $40 for meal of two and we made rice at home to supplement. If it weren't for the rice, we wouldn't have been full. I wanted to try this spot since I heard the seafood was fresh! I haven't had seafood boil in awhile because my favorite place has become inconsistent with quality. I actually enjoyed the garlic butter shrimp way more than the NOLA crawfish. While the NOLA was good, I think garlic butter is the best flavor. If you had tried Cajun Bistro's sweet california sauce, Crawfish Bro's sauce is a lighter version. Because of the lack of dine in space, I'm not sure how often I'll come back. I need to order more seafood next time if I'm here!

I'm not usually a huge crawfish fan but wanted to try out crawfish bros for their affordable crawfish. I came around mid June and it was $10/ LB. The worker told me that June was the near the end of crawfish season and the peak time to come is April-May. They don't have a huge variety of flavors. I opted for the reg Nola crawfish since the garlic butter was $2 extra. The Nola was on the lighter side of flavor but had a slight kick to it. All the crawfish were fresh and sweet and ranged in sizes. Some of the small ones were the size of the large ones claw I would recommend getting to go as the store is really small and they only have 3 tables

Ran it back for day 3 today 6/9 for Crawfish Bros! Today I got The Splash Brothers combo + turkey neck in the garlic butter flavor, spicy. Pork and gator sausage!! Packed with so much flavor and really juicy! Corn was delicious! Especially with the sauce all over it. Turkey neck might be my new favorite here so tender! Shrimp was perfect! Big and held all the flavor and juice. Crawfish is ofc my all time fav.. duh! Khanh is super cool and very friendly! All nice folks in there. Thanks for recommending the splash bros today! Definitely will be back for more!

Crawfish Bros is the real deal!! Their crawfish is fresh and hugeee especially compared to the frozen stuff most places around here charge nearly double for ($10/lb vs $18/lb). Only two flavors on the menu, but that's kind of the point. They focus on doing a few things really well. Both flavors (NOLA + Garlic Butter) are incredible, the crawdads come out massive and fresh, and the sausage links / corn are a solid add-on to round out the meal. It's a casual counter-order setup but the staff are super friendly and thoughtful. I might've just found my favorite crawfish spot in the Bay. Already eyeing their Snack Pack next visit (10 lbs of crawfish for just over $130, unbeatable value)!

Absolutely delicious NOLA style crawfish & today it was only $10/lb! Got myself 2lbs and a corn. $3 for a WHOLE corn-- deals on deals at Crawfish bros. The crawfish were piping hot & still juicy when they came out. The boil was seasoned to perfection & I was very tempted to order another round! When you walk in, you'll see the digital menu to your right and their at-home boil seasonings below it. Order at the counter, and hopefully you can find a space to sit. There is also a small standing table as well. The tables are equipped with gloves and napkins. You can also ask for lemon juice cups at the front! Pro-tip: get there early. They usually sell out before 5pm! Had a brief moment to speak with the owner, they've been in their soft opening phase for the last two months. I can't wait to see what their grand opening brings, they're shooting for June! The support staff are super kinda and thoughtful. We chose to dine in and the staff noticed that there were only standing seats available, she offered to pack it to go incase we didn't want to stand. But of course we opted for the full experience and thankfully some regular seats opened up later on.

Not bad, Not bad. There's been quite a buzz surrounding Crawfish Bros and being that we have some heavy crawfish eaters in the fam, there wasn't any chance of us not giving Crawfish Bros a try. 1st and foremost, this joint is essentially a take out spot for seafood boil. The menu is pretty straight forward offering: combos, crawfish and shrimp sold by the pound, and a few sides to help round our your order. Sides consist of corn [whole cobs], sausage links [whole, uncut], potatoes, and turkey necks. There are only 2 flavors to choose from: NOLA or GARLIC BUTTER. Shrimp seems to only be available with garlic butter. Our takeout order consisted of: *4lbs NOLA crawfish *4lbs Garlic Butter crawfish *2 sausage links *1lb Shrimp Be advised that there is a service fee that will be automatically added to your tab. I'm not sure if this is strictly set for credit card payments. Food took a bit of time to come out but there staff was working with quite a bit of orders. Orders come out warm IMO. Don't come here expecting piping hot bags with steaming air begging to be released. The live seafood is cooked in the back and then placed in massive metal bowls to be weighed out and bagged. FOOD: The crawfish was legitimately good. Both NOLA and garlic butter flavoring was good but I find garlic butter reigns supreme. The crawdads were massive in size and very fresh. Shrimp was plump and not overcooked. Our entire party did not care for the sausages and at $5 a pop, I would have enjoyed potatoes more. Pricing is a lot more affordable vs the other crawfish eateries. Crawfish Bros is highly recommended when it comes to being a good bang for your buck but the flavorings are absolutely limited. 4/5 stars. I'd easily come back but only wished the food was hotter in temp.

The crawfish here are amazing! You can definitely tell they're imported from Louisiana because they are huge, especially compared to the smaller Sacramento ones you usually see around here. Both the NOLA and Garlic Butter flavors are incredible - I can't decide which I like more. Just a heads up: when you ask for spicy, it is actually spicy! The staff is super friendly, and the prices are so good I really hope they stay this low. I'm already planning my next visit! A quick tip on logistics: the parking lot and the dining area are both very small, so it's not really a date-night spot, and you might want to park a bit further away. Honestly, the best move is to buy in bulk, take it home, and go HAM with some ice-cold beers!

    Nola crawfish and potatoes

Been hearing a lot of hype about this place being affordable crawfish, which is so rare to hear. Service: The owner is friendly and super nice. The whole kitchen and service was run by himself. Please be patient as the service can take some time. Ambiance: The place is clean and small. 3 tables, so be aware about limited seating. I came in on Thursday 1-ish pm, and there was some wait time before ordering. Nola crawfish $9/lb (4/5): Tasted like authentic Louisiana crawfish, and it had a kick (mild-medium spice). Cooked in a broth that's a bit tad too salty. It was so fresh and huge. Garlic butter $11/lb (5/5): This was yummy, definitely preferred this over Nola. I have noticed that these were a little more difficult to crack open than the Nola, as if they're not as fresh. Potatoes $3 (3/5): These were standard potatoes, nothing special. $3 for 3 potatoes tho, that's cheap compared to other spots charging $3 a potato. I would honestly come back again since it's such a bargain. I hope the price can stay affordable over time. I saw they take orders to purchase sacks of live crawfish.

    Francis T.

Actually good crawfish. They're massive and fresh and super worth it for the price! $9 /lb for crawfish and it's not just the shell, there meat in the claws. Super homie place and located in a pretty small plaza too. 10/10 would come back again.

I came here with my sister a few days ago and we were shocked by the fair prices and taste. They are also a family owned business :) Taste: We preferred the garlic butter because of how rich and creamy it was. Parking: Small plaza but easy to find parking. Note that the seating is very limited here.

    Catherine L.

Consistently so good and fresh. The crawfish here always have a lot of head butter/fat, so creamy and delicious! Prices did go up since it's near end of the season. But the owner said they will still have fresh crawfish until October though since there's a CA farm!

    Sally L.

ordered 2 lbs of shrimp, 2 lbs of crawfish and 3 corn and one sausage link the crawfish was very lukewarm. seems like they don't prep it as orders are placed. shrimp was hot, but lacked flavor. crawfish had more flavor/spices. didn't really hit the spot for me. corn just tasted like butter. little to no flavor in the garlic butter. this is very grab and go. they only have 3 tables inside.

Not really any heat or spice but the crunch and moistness and flavor was there. Seafood Boil - 9/10 We got the Cajun seasoning. Solid flavor, it didn't feel too greasy. I didn't feel there was too much sauce on ours, everything was seasoned well. We split this between two people and it was enough, but this bag alone probably won't leave two people satiated. The seafood was well-seasoned with a nice spicy kick, and our noodles were very garlicky (in a good way). The chicken tenders were also flavorful, but a bit dry (I still like it btw). The garlic fries were cooked to the perfect level of crispiness, while the lobster garlic noodles were flavorful, savory, and packed with garlic goodness. The seafood itself was fresh and good quality, but I found the House Special Mild sauce a little underwhelming. I was hoping for more depth and flavor, but most of what I tasted was a mild kick of heat. While it wasn't bad, it didn't have the rich, buttery, and well-seasoned flavor profile that I typically look for in a seafood boil sauce. Service was great throughout our visit. We were seated promptly, our food arrived quickly, and any requests we had were fulfilled without issue. The staff was attentive and made the dining experience smooth and enjoyable. I also appreciated the restaurant's nautical theme. The decor featured fishing nets, ship-inspired accents, and other sea-themed elements that helped create a fun and immersive atmosphere. Overall, I'm glad we gave this place a try. The garlic noodles and fries were delicious, and the service was excellent. While I would probably choose other seafood boil spots in the future, this was still a solid experience and worth trying at least once.

So we ordered 6 pounds tasting a little bit of each of the different sauces and landed on the one that we liked. We decided to come back tonight with our partners and kids for dinner. There was a misunderstanding between the staff, and it resulted in them charging us for two extra pounds of crawfish. Sidenote, if you buy 5 pounds of crawfish you get 1 pound free. So we ended up ordering 12 pounds of crawfish expecting to pay for 10 pounds. We were charged for 12 pounds of crawfish and for some reason given one free pound of shrimp which is a lesser value. When we let them know that there was discrepancies in our bill, they argued and ultimately made us stay for an extra 20-30 minutes while the owner yelled at everybody (including us). It was an incredibly awful experience. We still tipped the 18% table fee for large parties, but part of me wanted to decline paying for that and just give the waiter cash because we felt bad for him. We had a feeling the owner was going to make him pay somehow. Ultimately, what we think happened: when they gave us our order, it was missing 2 pounds of crawfish so we let them know that the 2 pounds of crawfish were missing and somewhere between telling our waiter and the kitchen, it was misconstrued as we were ordering two more pounds of crawfish. So between that and giving us shrimp "for free" instead of the crawfish for free, our bill was noticeably larger. At one point the owner was claiming we ordered 3lbs of shrimp too. Then realized his own order tickets and receipts did not align on that (we only ordered 1lb Shrimp). In the end, we spent nearly $400 there for dinner and it really felt incredibly ridiculous to have to stand there and argue with the owner as well as watch him just yell at his entire staff over this discrepancy. The first time we came, the owner was not particularly attentive or nice in terms of service, but we just chalked it up to it being an Asian restaurant. We are Asian so we're kind of used to it. But this was next level insane in terms of behavior. I started to get loud with him a little too before I ended up just needing to leave because my kids had to go to bed. I totally get margins aren't great and perhaps he's had issues in the past with customers being shady but that was definitely not the case here and due to this, we won't be back. FOOD: The garlic noodles are good, and the crawfish are clean. The rest is pretty standard (fries) or subpar... like the wings -- they were tiny and stuck together. The calamari was bland and pale. You can order heads or rings but not both together. Glad we didn't get more as it was but great.

It had a lot of flavor and was pretty strong, so I stayed in the restaurant for a while to let the buzz wear off. I'll definitely be back to try more things from the menu. The Boiling Crab is now one of my favorite restaurants!

Too bad you can't add to the waitlist beforehand. We ended up getting seated at our table around 7:50pm This location is not as big as the other SJ location but it is slightly less busy than that one since it's further out. They have a white board near the door that lists the seafood that they're out of for the day, which is helpful to note. Menu and pricing is available through the QR code on the table We ordered 2lbs of shrimp and 1 lb of crawfish in medium spice with the whole shabang to share between 2 people. The seafood boil came out hot and within 10 mins but we felt like it wasn't marinaded into the seafood, potato's and corn enough. Portion and spice wise was perfect though. We were hoping to order garlic noodles but was a little disappointed it wasn't on their menu. Our host was attentive though and came by to check on us and give us more gloves
