Came last night 9/2/16 hoping to catch endless shrimp. Sadly it doesn't start until 9/5. The hostess staff saw my disappointment and apologetically advised not until 9/5/16. I wanted to throw a tantrum until they gave it to me but I didn't, couldn't let the brood think throwing tantrums are acceptable so I was caught in between a rock and hard place. Lol we were quickly sat despite it being a Saturday night after 9pm with a somewhat packed house. Our waitress was incredible! Professional, friendly, engaging, attentive, etc etc everything you would want in wait staff. I'm happy we were sat in her section, I have nothing but pleasant things to say about her. Our food came out in a timely fashion, it was presentable, and appealing. I'm not a fan of red lobster besides endless shrimp or when I have a taste it for it due to the lacking appeal in the menu and I always seem to mess the days they run the specials I like. For instance I like the $15.99 pick a soup, salad, entree, and dessert. They only run this mon-Thurs **snorts** I Hate being reduced to days & when it's convient for them, why can't I just have it if I request it?! This is why I stop going to restaurants that offer "soup of the day" and only have clam chowder and black bean soup on days I don't like. It's hard being me, it truly is... I ordered the pick 2 for $15.99 and if you come mon-Tues you can pick 3 for the same damn price 0_o I hate having regrets!! First I regret coming today (9/2) because endless shrimp is 9/5 then you make me regret my order because I should've come mon-Tues to get more bang for my buck. *_* I felt like red lobsters corporate office was giving me the Simpsons Nelson laugh the entire time! I would deduct stars but it's not this restaurants fault for the stupidity of the corporate office who found it wise to piss me off and people like me because we will just go elsewhere. Because lets face it most us learned to make those cheddar bay biscuits in home ec, at least I did and can cook at home the majority of that stuff on the menu, at least I can. Hello, my name is Nariah Williams and I was attempting to place a Togo order at Cobb Parkway at 8:50 pm on March 4th, 2019 and was waiting on the phone for exactly 9 mins before anyone answered. When they did answer the phone the male did not give me a name he said "Are you calling to place a Togo order" I said, "yes, but I have a question." However, before I was finished he interrupted me and said, "Before you ask your question. . . we are closed due to plumbing issues and we actually closed an hour and a half ago." So I asked, "Well why didn't you tell me that before you had me waiting on hold for eight minutes?" He stated with an attitude (through his tone) , " Uh uh ma'am don't do that we are in here cleaning up so nobody was near a phone." I thought to myself how is that my fault as a customer that your not near the phone even though your inconveniencing customers by closing an hour and a half ago( 7:30pm). So I asked for his name and he said, "No you can't have my name!" I'm so shocked and disappointed in Red lobster because usually customer service is key as the restaurant chain usually cares about their guests, but this Red Lobster seems to me they don't value customer time or money. Luckily I drove all the way to Red Lobster on the East West Connecter Road and they give great service. We arrived and were told that there would be a thirty minute wait. We were given a pager and sat outside. We watched as other peoples pagers went off and names were called. Then we noticed that people that had shown up after us were being seated. We brought it to the front desks attention. A manager apologized profusely. Had us sat right away and offered us a complementary appetizer because we had been forgotten about. Manager told us that our server would take good care of us. Then ... Amber W came to our table. That's when things went from bad to just being flat out miserable. I can think of a handful of times in my life that I've experienced service so bad, that it ruined my entire evening ... And now Amber W and Red Lobster can be added to this small list. My "Fresh" Alaskan King Crab Legs were ice cold. Parts were warm, but parts being ice cold? How can those be fresh / steamed and still be ice cold? Unless ... They were actually frozen. The sides were not edible. Corn that was frozen, then heated and then reheated. French fries that were over salted and cold. Amber W ... Never brought us water. Never offered a refill for our sodas. Never brought us any additional biscuits. Never asked if our food was ok. When she brought our entrees, she asked if we needed anything else ... Then was irritated when we pointed out that things were missing. Trying to flag her down for the simplest of requests (like asking for a glass of water) was frustrating. By the end of the meal, she didn't ask if we wanted desert. More of a rude ... "No dessert?" and then dropped the check on our table. And ... Surprise! That "free" appetizer was on the bill. When we had to flag her down, bring her back and explain that the manager had offered to comp our appetizer? We were subjected to more hostility and negativity. No ... "I'm sorry" or "let me fix that". Instead we were interrogated, as if we were making it up. Then she left to find the manager to make sure it was true. She brought back the adjusted check and said "here it is" and walked away. Amber W took what might have been a very pleasant evening (despite the mediocre frozen food) and made it one of the most upsetting restaurant experiences that I have ever had. My girlfriend is nicer than I am. She felt that we should still leave Amber W a tip. I thought we should've left nothing. I'm still upset that I spent $65 ... Parts of the meal inedible. Thirsty. Irritated. Subjected to long waits and horrible service. Some people write bad reviews because they hope the can get something for free out of it. Let me be crystal clear when I say ... I want nothing from Red Lobster. No free anything. I will never set foot in another Red Lobster ever again. The only reason that I'm writing this review? I hope that others take the time to read it, and avoid making the same mistake that I did. read more

The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because I always leave feeling full and happy with the food. That being said, the service is lacking. There's nothing like waiting 10 minutes to get the check picked up so you can pay and GO. I hate sitting there trying to get the waitress's attention so she can swipe my plastic. It's annoying. Overall, I hate places like Red Lobster mostly because of the people who tend to dine there. (I'm not an elitist, I just expect some class from my fellow patrons.) The food was good. The service was terrible. The hostess walked away from us and help another family for about 5 or 6 minutes to let them play with the lobster. During that time we just stood there wondering why couldn't we have set down before they did this. They said sorry and eventually we sat down but by then we were really annoyed. Our waitress finally came and took us forever to get our rolls. We saw baskets going to other tables we finally asked she said she wanted to make sure the ones we got were extra fresh. I really want to say that we won't come back but the food really was delicious. Wow...I had a completely opposite experience ITO service. I think this joint's alright. So I rolled in after a sweaty workout cause I needed to feed the machine. This was my first time in a RL so I didn't know that this was supposed to be a "fine dining" establishment. Everyone else was dressed up pretty nice, khakis and collared shirts. I immediately felt bad but what the hey. I was on a mission to eat RL and I was gonna shed my RL virginity today. SERVICE: 5 Stars! With a big smile I went up to the hostess and said "Rollin' solo today!" which brought an immediate chuckle. She dropped me off with Tamika, the nicest, most attentive server ever! (I dropped the big 2-0-% for her). She gave me just about the right amount of time to figure out what I wanted, came by and got my order, brought me my d-coke and water, and whisked away. My beverages were always filled (I drink fast, most servers can't keep up. I'll usually drink 3-4 diet cokes over a 15min meal). She even sold me on dessert (almost never happens unless I'm with the wife). She really made this a top notch experience. FOOD: 2 Stars I ordered the wood grilled lobster-shrimp-scallops. Came with salad (3 stars) and broccoli (3.5). The lobster was a HUGE disappointment. It was not very flavorful and was somehow mushy. Very strange texture and I really didn't like it. Def. the worse lobster I've ever eaten. As "Red Lobster" your namesake food better be damned amazing, but this fell far short. Of the 5 scallops on the skewer, 3 were tasteless and 2 were really good. The entire skewer of shrimp was AWESOME and the only saving grace of this dish. Rice pilaf was just ok. Would've been a 3-4 star if it weren't for the crummy center piece dish. Ordered the apple pie dessert. Awesome. Huge portions. I probably have diabetes and rotten teeth now. PRICE: Cost me $31 for for all of that, plus a $6 tip. Tamika you rule. AMBIANCE: Like people said...clientele...leaves some to be desired. The table next to me was a family of 6. Kid in twenties, dad in 40's, 2x granddad in 60's, and grandma in 100's. They were talking about their visit to Mexico and how the "natives" were causing shenanigans. You Georgians.... The physical decor was great tho. Rich woods and comfy booths. Very inviting. Would I go back? Nah. As great as the service was and as nice as the physical store is, the food's gotta be good for me to wanna go back. This is a restaurant after all. No wait to get seated. Price- 5 stars: I got the $15 deal, so excellent Food- 4 stars: I got the clam chowder (they were out of the other soup :(), ceasar salad, blackened tilapia with broccoli and a baked potato, a brownie and a extra large daiquiri. The broccoli and potato were good, but how can you mess those up. The brownie was good, just really small and that was disappointing, but what can you expect for the price. It was a ton of food and I had to get a to-go box. And the biscuits were delicious as always. The tilapia was great, seasoned well with a kick of spice. Perfect. The daiquiri was really big and it was good, and not too strong Service- 6 stars: I ate at the bar, so the bartender was my waitress. Selamauit (I believe this was her name as it's listed on my receipt) did an excellent job. She was the only person behind the bar and she single-handedly made the drinks for everyone in the restaurant, took the orders of people at the bar, answered calls for takeout orders, retrieved the take-out orders and rang them up, brought out our food, and did all of that and was still pleasant. I bow to her, because I know I could not have done that alone. Atmosphere: Good quiet, not too busy. Our server was very unprofessional and wholly unorganized to the point I just stopped asking her for things that should've come with our order (such as the crab cracker). She literally forgot everything the butter sauce, napkins, water and was so rude when she did bring additional items (for the unlimited shrimp platter). For me the most egregious part was that they weren't even busy so why the issue with poor service?! We boxed up our food and took it home. It's been years since I decided to give Red Lobster a try. My experience was between lunch and dinner time. I was seated promptly. It took a while for a server to show up to take my drink order. There was really nothing much that stood out on the menu. The prices seemed a little high for freshly frozen seafood. I order one of their combo platters. Of course, the cheese biscuits were the star of the show. The salad was a bit watery, seems to be the standard over the years. The food arrived warm. The lobster loaded potatoes were really not worth the upcharge. The butterfly shrimp was on the limp/soggy side. The shrimp alfredo was bland. And the rest of the items made me glad that I had the biscuits earlier. I think a drive through of Captain D's would have been better prepared, if only they had the biscuits! One of the worst dining experiences. We had reservations for lunch and they assigned our table to a server who had zero personality and could not manage a large table. Some of our guests were not happy with their side dishes and they were not offered something different. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our bills and they were wrong. I would like to start off by mentioning that I currently work in the hospitality industry and I have for many years! When I go out to eat, I always pay close attention to detail. Upon our arrival (group of 15) our reservation was not set up. The restaurant was nearly empty so I'm unsure why this occurred. After being seated, we were greeted by Kendall who then grabbed our drink orders and introduced herself. I noticed right then with the amount of time that the drinks were taking, that this dining experience might so south.... I would assume not many of her teammates helped her with the amount of time it took to make drinks for the party. Several of us ordered salads with our entrees as well. It took over 10 minutes for the salads. No exaggeration! At the restaurant I work at, drinks hit the table in 2-3 minutes and salads hit the table in 5! But I'm always understanding because I'm in the industry and I understand things happen, kitchen staff is short, no team work, etc. After the salads were pre bussed they were left on a tray about 4 feet away from the table. Not sanitary at all. Or appealing to the eyes of your guests. Note for management. Once the food hit the table, some Individuals at the table did not like their sides, but that wasn't addressed. One individual had their sweet potatoes removed but that was it. Checks were dropped because at this point we need to return to work! Dirty plates were still on half of the table while checks were being handed out. I NEVER leave reviews but the server earned this with her smart remark at the end of our dining experience. Which is something you never do. Always remain professional and that she did not do. The manager came to the table after we got up from the table to complain. At that point it's too late. Things that could've been avoided with manager engagement weren't and at that point we had to go. Offering new sides and an apology didn't help at the end of the dining experience. As we were speaking to the Manager about what went wrong the server Kendall decided to say "well it's only me" I suppose that was her reasoning for the food taking long, drinks taking long, and payments taking about 10 minutes. Everyone was late to work due to this awful experience. I haven't been here in years and I surely won't be back. read more

Our service was mediocre and our waitress got our order incorrect. My crab legs came out cold and were so over cooked it was sinful, they were rubber to be quite honest. After they got my friends order wrong, they didn't send a manager over to apologize or check on the table nor did they apologize for their mistake. Don't waste your money here.
