While it may be slightly pricier, we end up saving a ton of money because we don't make trips to the grocery store every week and buy things we don't need. Make one monthly trip to stock up on meat, get your Brown Box every week, and you're set. The fruits and vegetables are fresh and delicious. I can't speak for the other products yet, but it is nice to have such a variety. Lastly, the customer service is second to none. If a delivery or item is a little different than planned, they answer the phone on the first ring and fix things in the first minute. However, mistakes are rare. The vegetables were fine. Nothing special. Just raw vegetables. The chicken was not good at all because it was tough and hard to chew. This should never happen with chicken and I'm surprised they messed this up. Could be the cheap stuff, I don't know. The sauce it came with (buffalo) was too hot for me and the flavor was average. Lastly, the order arrived with no directions on how to heat it up. I went to their website and the links to faq and 'how it works' were not working. So I called them and they gave me the directions. I like their meal format and was hoping it would be something local I could use regularly but I was underwhelmed. I found this company on door dash when I was looking at dessert options for delivery one night. I didn't order from there at the time nor anything else that night but that's not the point. Today is my daughters 5th birthday and first day of school so we're doing her party on Saturday with cake. So I didn't make a cake this year for her birthday so after her birthday dinner we were close by where this place "is" so I drove over ended up at Fast Eddys gas station. No signage outside to show a business of a cake variety is there. But I went in anyway. Went to the main desk and asked an employee if I was crazy if the place exists. She said yes kind of... I was like what does that mean. She said there isn't actually a place and you can't order in person. So I had to order online while she went and got the cakes. Which were Pre packaged slices frozen or at least deep refrigerated. Over all the cakes weren't bad it just wasn't really what I was expecting. I won't be ordering again but that's just because it's not really worth it to me. That's not to say you shouldn't look into it and maybe try yourself it's just not worth the cost for what boils down to be "gas station cake".
