Best steak ever! The steak was amazing and service was great. Did not leave hungry! Biggest crème Brûlée I have ever had too!!!

We have eaten at many casino steakhouses in the Midwest and this was by far the best one yet! I had the small filet with blue cheese and the seasoning and cook were fantastic! My mom had the lobster tail. The tail was large, and delicious, severed with butter and lemon. We had potatoes and asparagus with hollandaise. The potatoes were a hit! They were rich, creamy and delicious. Wine by the glass was limited but we did enjoy what was available. It was nice having a stem glass after drinking wine out of a plastic cup all day. Tyler was our server and he did an exceptional job!

Ok, lets get too it, simply the best steak house in many miles! Great service and every item on the menu is wonderful. Yes its expensive but thats what really good steak houses are. If you want something a little special with well appointed interiors, well trained staff, and people who know food go give it a try. This is our third time here and the food has been spot on every time. The waiters are great and know their stuff. its fun to see the chefs cooking too. This is the place to go to celebrate something special like a birthday, anniversary our new job. Only drawback, the smoke filled gauntlet you have to walk though to get to the restaurant. Its often so bad that just quickly walking through will live you and your clothes so smoky that you must wash everything to get it out. If smoke is a problem for you go somewhere else. I do wish they had a back entrance for people who want to come in for a good meal but not have to be submitted to all the casino smoke.

It's very overpriced for what you get, I have been to way better steakhouses and paid less in fact I just went to the Flame in Springfield which on top of having better steak was the same price as eating here and we ordered more alcohol and food at Flame so if you want a great steak and an amazing experience then I suggest you skip here and make the drive to the Flame. I would also suggest finding a Ruth's Chris (not the one in Rogers) and try their steak, you will not be disappointed and if you're willing to pay for this mediocre food here then those other places will definitely be worth trying. I do like that they have a greenhouse and grow all of their vegetables and raise their own cattle and I'm sure that's why the cost is higher but to me it's just not worth it. Service is nice so no complaints there and I did get a rose on Valentine's Day which is when we went so that was exciting!

Best steakhouse in the area, that's for sure. A little pricey, but food was excellent as was the service. Check it out!

Been a year or so since last visit. First notice was no upgrade to restaurant. Actually should be…read moreclassified as a high price dive bar. The place is kind of a dump. And oh boy, prices are way more expensive. Most steakhouses Dont even have chicken fried steak on the menu. But at Jims it went from $16 to $27. I got invited to go, not my pick. At $27 it was one of the cheaper options. The burger was $17, and fish sandwich was $19. And they come with nothing. To add fries they are $5 for off the truck frozen fries or $8 for "hand cut " fries. A baked potato is $10. Those prices may not be shocking at all fine dining restaurant, but Jims is just an overpriced dive bar. BTW, the chicken fried steak was huge. Impressive on the plate. I made sure to have the gravy on the side to not make the fry soggy. The fry was soggy and lukewarm warm in temp. Lack of seasoning and no crispness is best description. Side salad was something you would expect at a diner. Worst part of the iceberg lettuce. Highlight was the baked Idaho baked potato. Problem is they brought me cold to fozen butter in foil and very cold sour creme. I spent 10 minutes building the potato they could have spent a little time trying to wow me. Wouldn't matter, you could order the flagship $70 porterhouse and would end up with the same deal. Jims is an overpriced dive bar masking as a high end steakhouse

Ironically I got to meet the family that took it over and they are great people whom I believe will revive this place. The service was great and had no complaints on that end. Always friendly and welcoming. Now to the food. I got some appetizers such as the jalapeño pimento cheese dip and cheese curds. It was as expected. I ordered the prime rib, which is what they are supposed to be known for. I ordered my prime rib medium rare and it came out well done. Prime rib is usually served with a horseradish sauce but I didn't get any. I asked for a side and my server came back and said they had to make some. I had no problems with that, but when the sauce came out, it tasted way closer to tartar sauce than horseradish sauce. Truly, this was the worst prime rib that I have ever eaten in my life. I am hopeful the new ownership will turn things around for this iconic spot.
