I cannot explain how wonderful this spot was. The friend that recommended it described it as 'surprisingly kid friendly' and she was entirely correct. Kids menu and drink menu make a good stop! We enjoyed this quiet patio around noon on a Saturday. We tried the burrata with broccoli pesto, cheese pizza and shrimp fettuccine! All were fabulous. Our pizza came with an unfortunate flaw and they not only made another quickly, allowed us to keep both, but also comped the entire pizza as well. This was very kind of them. My husband and I were in town for two nights to go to watch the Saints play the Vikings. After the game we were starving and wanted to go somewhere with great food and atmosphere. This was an excellent choice! The sausage and peppers had great flavor and a little kick of spice that was balanced by the creamy risotto. The fettuccine had a unique savory flavor. The pizza rolls were a perfect blend of cheese, sauce and pepperoni. Dinner was great, and then we had dessert. The sticky toffee cake was absolutely superb. The homemade caramel flavor combined with the moist, dense cake and the tangy cream on the side was absolutely perfect. It may be the best cake I've ever eaten. It was pretty dead due to the foot of snow that night. I ordered the Yukon Gold Pizza - rosemary oil, yukon gold shreds, pancetta, red onion, fontina, runny egg. The runny egg is the best part. I love runny eggs. Runny eggs on anything makes the world go round. Runny eggs on ramen, on burrito, on pizza, on rice...you name it. Food came decently fast. Hot and fresh. The pizza size is typical of a personal pizza size. It might not be filling for certain people. I was satisfied. Not stuff, nor was I starving. Pizza was cut into squares for me. When compared to Pizzeria Lola and Young Joni. I think it's slightly underwhelming. Lola and Joni are a tad bit better in terms of taste and offerings of pizza choices. My sons and I were able to get a table quickly on a weeknight right at dinner time. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We started with the Garlic Bread Cheese Curds because they sounded interesting. These are a must get! I'm not sure how to even describe them. Unlike the typical fried cheese curds, these are crispy squares embedded with garlic bread pieces. See my pics. Just get them! My sons got pizzas that were Neapolitan style and very very good. I got the Chicken Parmesan that is essentially their signature dish and that the Star Tribune called the best in the Twin Cities. You get two large chicken breasts, no sides because of the size of the dish. I don't know that it's the best chicken parm in the area, but it's definitely very good. I would have liked a little more melted cheese and the breading tasted like it had been cooked at too high a temperature. Not burned, but over browned. The breast meat was cooked perfectly and moist. Our party of six had reservations for my birthday and decided to check out Red Rabbit. I drive past this restaurant every day on my way to work but had never checked it out. I was happy to see plenty of options that fit every dietary need in our group. I felt like the service was a little slow for it being during the week. We started with several different types of drinks (too many to list), all you need to know is that everything was good! We also started with two orders of the garlic cheese curds ($11) and they were delicious. I highly recommend ordering them. We also ordered a caeser salad ($11.50) that was just okay. My sister ordered the Mostaccioli ($16) but was given a Bolognese ($14) the server offered to make a new one but honestly it took so long to get the first one we didn't want to wait, we were given a discount. The vegan pizza was delicious (16.25) and the breakfast pizza was even better ($15) the pepperoni pizza also wasn't bad ($13.50) but wasn't amazing. The chocolate torte ($8) came with a fruity spread which wasn't good and I was disappointed because it wasn't listed on the menu. I wish I had known it would be coming with it because I would have passed. Overall our food was good and I would come back with a smaller group during the week in hopes of fast service. read more

My party of 3 got to the establishment probably around 2:50 p.m. the restaurant was not busy at the time, we got seated right away but did not get actual service until someone (WHO DID NOT WORK THERE) from another table pointed it out to a worker (roughly 10 minutes of sitting); our order was taken by one waitress and then a different waiter took over which was a little confusing when our original waiter never came to our table. The major thing was, a group who came after us were seated but they were helped right away which told me that they weren't understaffed; the food overall was fine but not really worth the wait. This was one of the first places we tried when we moved here. The service and food are great for a local chain. Each location has consistent service and food. The wings are very good and cooked perfectly- they have a crispy outside with a soft and juicy inside for the meat. The chicken parm and the spaghetti bolognese is unmatched. You can tell the pasta and sauces are all made fresh. The caesar salad is also very good and made with a spring mix lettuce. Their wines are good and they will make some good recommendations based on what type of wine you are looking for. Mixed drinks are ok, but definitely not their specialty. The cheese board is a win by my gf and her mom. The cheeses and meats are good, I am just not a huge meat and cheese person. The service and vibes are always good when we come here. read more

Honestly shocked I haven't already reviewed Red Rabbit as it's one of my favorites. This is one of my defaults as I live nearby. Whether I have guests in town visiting or a friend and I just need last minute dinner plans, Red Rabbit always comes through. I have had great luck finding spots at the bar or getting a table quickly even without reservations. As far as the food goes, both the pizza and pasta are incredible. I seemed to order the most popular menu item here as almost all other tables had this dish too: the PROSCIUTTO (poached eggs, parmesan fonduta, crispy pancetta on hashbrown waffle, arugula salad). It's basically like a next-level eggs benedict. I loved the light parm + lemon with the arugula as it helped to balance out the richness of the proscuitto bennie. The hashbrown waffle is a thing of beauty...ask for some ketchup on the side! My friends ordered pizzas and a chicken sandwich. All looked very tasty. The server didn't know anything about their beer list and just told me to look at the QR code which I found a bit odd and useless. One of our orders was incorrect and the dishes overall seemed different. I had the Alfredo and it was very good! The garlic bread cheese curds are always a favorite. They also don't have ranch anymore, but instead brought out something called "creamed parmesan" which seemed like ranch to me. We were checked on a lot by multiple different wait staff, but almost too much. Our conversations kept getting interrupted, and we were left feeling like we were being rushed out. My first time eating at this restaurant last week! I had heard great things about this restaurant from friends for awhile so had to give it a shot. First of all, tables were spaced out as the restaurant is fairly big and we felt safe that people were wearing masks when not sitting and eating. Our server was also wearing one. They also had sanitizers when you walk in and near the bathroom. We ordered the Burrata appetizer to share. Everything on the plate was good, the broccoli pesto sauce that the burrata laid on top of set it apart from other burratas we have had. The only thing that would have made it even better is if it came with slightly toasted sliced baguettes instead of the overly extra crispy ones we got. For entrees, we got the Cavatelli and Pepperoni Pizza. The cavetelli pasta was cooked perfectly, so fresh and soft. The sausage meat was very flavorful and you can tell it's homemade. The white wine sauce was a great balance overall. Probably one of the best pastas I've had in awhile! The pepperoni pizza was good as well. Crust was good and pepperoni was good but the dish that really stood out was the Cavettelli pasta hands down! Service and attentiveness was also excellent at this location.
