A must try location!…read more The katsu sandwich was very flavorful. The meat slices are thick and cooked to perfection without losing any juice. I was a little underwhelmed seeing the plain white bread but one bite and I felt this combo was superior. Of course I mainly came for the perfectly picturesque green tea ice cream so I tried a matcha Mochi Parfait. It has House made matcha pudding and syrup, matcha ice cream, vanilla soft serve ice cream, corn flakes, red bean paste, mochi, and whipped cream. I'd never liked red bean in other desserts but together in this parfait it was amazing! 10/10, no notes.

From matcha lattes, to dessert options, to pastries and made-to-order meals. They also have other matcha / green tea options and hojicha drinks if you're looking for something different. The staff is great. I had a few questions because I couldn't decide what to order, and everyone was friendly and helpful - I was even able to add corn flakes to my matcha soft serve (which isn't listed on the menu), so it was nice to know I could customize it to my liking! The matcha tiramisu was the best I've had, and the hojicha latte with oat milk was just right. The flavor was nice and strong without being overpowering. Everything I had here truly stood out! I liked the variety on the menu and all of the different options. - it's extensive and you could find anything for everyone. It's one of the more memorable matcha spots I've been to, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Seattle. If you love matcha like I do, definitely add this place to your list. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Frank don't mess around with the gourmet options I just get the straight OG style from New England, the white clam chowder. I'll splash with salt & pepper and add some oyster crackers and I'm ready to consume.... Now I stay away from Public Market location due to tourist long lines so I come to the Pacific Place location. A normal day I may experience a few person wait. The helpers get you ordered super fast and you're eating within 5 mins. Cause it's in the Pacific Place you have a lot of space to find seating. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the reputation. The clam chowder was just average. It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't memorable or deserving of the accolades we had read about. The slice of sourdough bread served with it was extremely dry and tasted stale, which was disappointing given Seattle's reputation for great sourdough. We also ordered the cod fish and chips, and the fish tasted like frozen, pre-breaded cod rather than fresh fish. The coating was crispy; although, the fish did taste fresh. Overall, we left feeling that the restaurant was overrated. We had expected a standout meal based on its reputation, but instead found the food to be average at best. While the service was fine and the line moved efficiently, we wouldn't make a point to return or recommend it as a must-visit dining experience in Seattle.

I really liked this spot! I had known about nohm for a while but never found the desire to go…read morebecause it just seemed like a more expensive version of FOB. However I decided to check it out since it's a lot closer to where I live and was craving some sushi. Their selection isn't as big as FOB's but it's still very generous. They have inari, rolls, and nigiri - they do limit the number of "expensive" nigiri you can get though which does kind of suck. I tried a few rolls and a few nigiri. They all tasted really fresh, and I like how they aren't as enormous and one-note tasting as FOB's. Everything tasted unique! This should do the job to satisfy the sushi cravings :)

This is a sushi by the pound place in SLU, but they also have a menu with variety of things such as udon, inari, chirashi, etc. The selection of fish you can choose from in the weigh your sushi section is not that big. They only have 2 high premium fishes available: otoro and amberjack. However you can only get 1 of each, which to me defeats the purpose. I also got a bulgogi inari and it was $5 / piece which is pricey. Another thing is that they use a lot of rice, too much rice. Service is ok, they ring you up and bring the food to you if you ordered through the menu. It's a very relaxing and chill area as well. The food we got was just ok but for the price, it's not worth it. I'm glad I tried but most likely will not be back.
