First time trying this location as I used to dine many years ago at the one in Sugar Land. I placed an order online for pick up. Order was ready before the time I said I would pick it up. However, it was not correct and I did not look until I got home (error). I wished they would have spent a bit more time reviewing the order for correctness - it was only 2 burgers. Had a wonderful first visit tonight! I had the Patty Melt, wifey had the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich, and father-in-law had the Philly Cheese Steak. My Patty Melt was just the way I wanted it: grilled marble rye, a nice hamburger patty, grilled onions and swiss. My wife's CFS sandwich was just right, crispy with a good sized steak. The Philly was thinly sliced and stacked on a toasty roll with a nice portion of cheese. Fries were plentiful and crispy, a little on the salty side. Red was running the kitchen and the staff was very attentive. A great opportunity for the neighborhood to support a local, family business! read more

We have been twice, and have had a great experience both times! It's super clean and decorated with some really cool Coca-Cola items and sports memorabilia. The first time we had a mushroom and Swiss burger, a patty melt, and 2 kids meals. The second, even though I reeeeeallllly wanted the mushroom and Swiss burger again, I tried the Reuben. My husband had a loaded potato with chicken, and the 2 kids meals. The food was really delicious. We chose tater tots for the side and they were great and crispy. Perfect for my son who loves Napoleon Dynamite and is now obsessed with "tots". Lol! The people who work there are kind and helpful. They are also very welcoming. The kids meals are perfectly sized and come with a drink and delicious cookie. I took a to-go menu tonight to possibly do pick up orders from time to time! I had my first visit to Red's Grill the other day and I can't wait to go back. Simply made burgers that taste amazing!! Their pickles also have a nice thick cut to them so you can actually taste them. My son ordered the kids grilled cheese and it was nice and buttery with perfectly melted cheese. The staff was very friendly and even brought out extra pickles for the kid. We can't wait to try out their other menu items. read more

Red's has been a favorite of my family when they were in Pecan Grove. They have now reopened off 99 and they are every bit as good. Glad to have you back. We have been there 3 times. Food is consistently good. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. On my 2nd visit, was told by owner my card didn't go thru. I showed him it went thru on my account. He still charged me again, said the first one would fall off. Went back 2 weeks later, showed him it hadn't fallen off. His first words were I only got paid for one. Well, that may be true. But I got charged for 2, about $30 a piece. He said he would look into it and call me. Never heard from him. Did he offer any compensation? Absolutely NOT. read more

I literally stumbled into this place and ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup...there wasn't much left because I arrived late in the day, so Red offered to cook me some extra chicken to add to the soup without charge. I did not mind being charged for extra chicken, but he insisted that I did not. I eat chicken tortilla soup at least 2x's a week, and it was better than any soup I've ever ordered at any restaurant!! Was looking for somewhere new to eat and came across this little gem. We came in about 45 minutes before closing. We got taco salads and a chef salad. Very tasty and a large portion. The staff was very nice and the owner was so kind to my mother who has stage 4 cancer. Takes her longer to eat and we were there a little after closing and she never rushed her and assured her she could take her time. Oh and the cookies are delicious! Will def be back! read more
