Redstone American Grill: As soon as you walk in the door of Redstone American Grill you know why it gets 5 stars. This isn't just a restaurant, it's an experience designed to impress and every visit feels like a special occasion. First thing you notice about Redstone American Grill is its size. It's huge, almost grand, and gives off an immediate wow factor. The description of feeling like you're "eating in a hall of fame" is spot on - it's sophisticated and very classy and imposing and inviting. The decor is beautifully curated with high ceilings, warm lighting and elegant furnishings that's luxurious and refined without being stuffy. It's the kind of place you can celebrate a special occasion, impress visitors or just enjoy a high end meal in a beautiful setting. An exceptional dining experience is always elevated by great service and Redstone American Grill delivers. The staff were super nice, attentive and genuinely helpful. Navigating a menu in a high end restaurant can be daunting but our server was incredibly knowledgeable and offered great recommendations and patiently answered all our questions. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile made us feel valued and well looked after from start to finish. While the environment and service set the stage the food and drinks are the stars of the show. Redstone's menu has great options but the drinks are truly special. Beyond the standard offerings you'll find creative concoctions that are both beautiful and delicious. My personal favorite was the Spring Sunrise Lemonade - a total game changer that perfectly balanced sweet and tangy, it's a must try. It's clear the bar is just as committed to quality and inventiveness as the kitchen. Redstone American Grill is "a bit pricey" and falls into the fine dining category. But considering the size and elegance of the space, the top notch service, the unique and high quality drinks and the overall exceptional experience the price is justified. This isn't your everyday casual eatery, it's a destination for when you want to treat yourself or celebrate and the investment pays off in the memories it creates.

This Redstone is in Ridgedale mall and was not busy during my visit. My girlfriend had the Stoli Doli which was delicious. The calamari and shrimp was too greasy. Service was decent.

Classic Rotisserie Chicken Dinner - SO good!!

I am not sure where people say this place isn't good? From the moment I sat down, I was greeted by such a kind and hospitable waiter. He checked in appropriately and brought everything as requested. I had the rotisserie chicken and wow! Moist, flavorful and a huge amount! The potatoes were also very delicious. Asparagus was average. I should also mention the atmosphere. So calm and relaxing. Dim lights, good music, and friendly people. Definitely would come here often if I lived nearby!

This place was pretty good! Our server was very attentive and sweet. Food was damn good! We had the Buffalo Shrimp, Ahi Tuna appetizer, The prime rib which could have been a little more flavorful and the parmesan crusted walleye. All very tasty. The only thing that's a little irritating is paying $15 for a no frills Bloody Mary. That's just absurd.

Sat at the bar for a quick meal. The restaurant is gorgeous but very loud. Has an upscale bar vibe. Bartender was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My mom loves their stoli doli drink which I guess they specialize in (see big tanks of pineapple). Food was fresh and good and service time was super quick. Would definitely visit again for a more focused meal!

Redstone has a special place in my heart, probably my favorite chain in Minnesota. Their buffalo shrunk is a top 5 menu item of mine across any menu in the state. They are phenomenal. Quite spendy, but worth it. The rotisserie chicken is one of their main attractions and it is always a hit and flavorful. I've gotten it 15+ times. The mashed and asparagus come with it and they do the job, no need to substitute.

Entrance Storefront. Attached to Ridgedale mall, you can enter from outside or inside the mall.

I have been to Redstone many times when it was located outside of the Ridgedale Mall, near the Ridgedale library. So this was my first time visit to the newer location for Redstone inside Ridgedale Mall. The new location I think has been open now for a few years already, and I finally made it in today! It's about time right? I found the new location to be convenient, and parking convenient and easily accesable from the outside parking area. Definitely a plus! Enjoyed a nice brunch and coffee here with friends today. While my friends all opted for the brunch items, I chose the Rotisserie Chicken Chopped salad which was excellent! Top notch service and atmosphere, too. LOVE!

Tuesday Night Dining [Minnetonka MN] A co-worker chose this restaurant to have our department dinner. Located in the Ridgedale Center, across the Sheraton where some of us were staying. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Great for gathering. We were a party of 10. Some suggested the Sea Bass or the Walleye. The walleye is native to most of Minnesota. It's a fish. We ordered appetizers but I was saving my appetite for that rib eye LoL!... and dessert. The presentation of the entree's all looked good. Let's dig in... Appetizers: Honey Cider Bacon Brussels Sprouts Bang Bang Cauliflower Entrées: Parmesan Crusted Walleye Rib Eye (hand cut) Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass Spicy Thai Noodles w/ Crispy Cauliflower Braised Beef Short Rib 10-oz Prime Rib Petite Cajun Ribeye Grilled Sea Bass We ordered the six desserts they had on the menu. They went around the table and each one had a piece of the cake or pie so we could all have a taste of the different kinds. Dessert: Key Lime Pie Warm Berries Crisp Banana Cream Pie Stone's Chocolate Cake Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae Mango Coconut Cheesecake Drinks and beverages: Lemonade Lavender Haze Lemon Drop Blueberry Lavender Refresher Our server was great! She was quick and attentive to our table and came often to refill glasses of water and empty used dishes. For many of us (even for our local colleagues) it was our first time here. Pleasant experience. Instagram: @redstone_minnesota Review #3185

Copperwing is a working distillery, and the bar is not embellished to whisk you away from that environment. I like that. Copperwing has a place of its own amongst the thousands of drinking holes in the Twin Cities. You're imbibing in a distillery, but at a bar with a mixology and a bites menu. The cocktail list is interesting, and what I drank was delicious. I also drank shots of some of the different booze Copperwing produced. (It was a lot of liquor. The next two days were rough, and stupidly, we went to another distillery afterwards. I will never learn, and I'm 75 years old.) Liquor is like wine. We all have different tastes and palates. I liked one of Copperwing's vodkas, but not the other. Several of their offerings have won national awards. That's something everyone in Minneapolis can be proud of. Jack was our bartender, and he was gracious and accommodating. I will return to Copperwing Distillery soon, but will drink with more wisdom, sticking to one kind of booze and will drink lots of water.

I've eaten here once before for a special event year prior and the food options were better in my opinion. The small plates got even smaller and more expensive. Not sure if the quality was better on things either. I was with 3 others and we all shared plates. chicken karaage was alright. I liked the crispiness was the sauce was nothing extravagant. Truffle Edamame - best thing I had! The only thing craveworthy that I had. Shrimp taco - smelled fishy but tasted better. I was able to split it into 2 since the shells are so small and the filling worked well in the 2 provided. Crispy rice with spicy tuna - this was fun to do but not as good as we were hoping. It was missing something. Shishito peppers- these were large and many had the seeds. Spicier due to this. Wagyu sushi tacos $24 for the tiny things and it looked like ground wagyu... felt like a cash grab. I didn't eat them but my crew ate 2 and didn't want to eat the last one. Chicken fried rice - good size and really gingery. Not my favorite but it was edible. Better value than other items. The sushi felt like Crave and they were teeny tiny. I didn't enjoy the fishiness so I was one and done. (I normally love seafood) Dessert- we split 2.. the churros and the tres leches. The churros needed some sweetness in the mixture as they were bland. I was hoping for a really good churro and these were just ok. The tres leches wasn't traditional and they should change the name to avoid confusion. They have a better happy hour if you sit at the bar. Our server was able to order us some fries. Despite not being in the bar area. Overall, I wouldn't drive out of my way to eat here. The drinks and happy hour, maybe. The cocktail menu was very nice and I tried a few of my friends drinks.

We made a reservation on both occasions but didn't have to make it too much in advance so it's always worth checking on. Service is always spectacular with a huge attention to detail and really customized spiels about the menu. The things I've recently tried for drinks have included the spritz del ambratta, the fiore, and a sparkling red from their wine selection. I find myself going back to the Fiore and would recommend that most although their wine is a solid selection as well. In my opinion, the best starter combination is the focaccia plus the lemony beans. The focaccia is solid and it's so good to dip in the mixture that the beans are doused in. The Caesar was decent as well but you can't miss with that other combo. Then, of course, the mains. If you love creamy pasta, do yourself a favor and get the cavatelli. One of my favorite dishes I've had there; I kept almost comparing it to an adult Mac and cheese. Great for sharing if creamy pastas are a bit too rich for your liking. The lasagna is always a close second and you can't go wrong with it. My friend adored the pickle pizza and I thought it was solid too although I would still probably get the cavatelli or lasagna if you are between that and the pizza. Another great shareable. The saffron spaghetti was decent with some really good bite from the noodles and the taste of saffron really coming through, but I would probably get those other dishes before I would order that. On the first occasion, I was there we were celebrating two of my friends' 30th birthdays and H&S did such a good job of celebrating and making them feel special plus they brought out French silk pie cannolis for us plus glasses of sparkling wine, so I would highly recommend this place as a celebratory dinner.
