Reem's consistently delivers fresh Californian flavors, and this new location is no exception. I love lamb so was thrilled for La Gringa, which Mission Local review described as "Arabic version of Tijuana's quesabirria" - dip it in the consommé! So good!! Damascus lemonade makes a partly cloudy summer day even better. Can't wait to come back and try more seasonal menu items!

This place is really really tasty and you should try it! Came in maybe 20 minutes before closing and the staff was super accommodating, even though they were in the middle of breaking down the outside seating, and there was an obnoxiously loud and way too long train passing by. Ordered 2 la gringas to-go. Set me back $50+. I was starving and trapped by the train (Reem's legit took my order, finished making/packing my order, and the train was still going!!!) so took a bite in the car - that first bite was mostly bread and I think butter and it was so so soooo good!!!! speaks to the quality of ingredients. Got home and finished the rest with the consume - truly delicious! Partner also loved it. Just wish there was more lamb for the cost; it is filling though. I'm still debating if the price point is right, but will for sure be back. Go try it and tell Yelp what you think!

This new Arabic bakery/lunch and dinner spot in Jack London Square got a lot of attention last month when they opened up. I came on a Monday afternoon around midday and there was a consistent flow but not overly busy. It is located near the waterfront so there is plenty of outdoor seating and peacefulness to the ambience to enjoy your meal or a coffee. One highlight is that there were a number of bakery treats, free samples, available for clients and patrons to try before deciding on their order choice. They do serve coffee to go along with the pastries you buy so you can come in for a small treat or get a full meal. The food took about five minutes to prepare during this not so busy time, but I would imagine going peak hours might be a little bit longer. I ordered the Pali Cali, the warm thick crispy pita really stands out when you bite into to find some pickled veggies and delicately balanced sauce and braised protein. The meat was tender and juicy x It is served warm which is also a big plus. I would've preferred a little more protein included for the price point ($21) but definitely 5 star on flavor. The oxtail wrap will be my next adventure when I come back

    Loved their sourdough pita bread!

It appeared to me that the same small business that was closed in the Ferry Building few months ago has moved back to the East Bay, only to find a right retail space in Jack London Square! Reem's California was finally opened last Friday at the corner where the Amtrak train moved by here. Good to come back to Jack London Square since the Eat Real Festival. I came all the way to see how much Reem's continue to bring more Cali love for us. Cash will always be necessary once again. I know I want to have a nice long flatbread wrap, but I only purchased the red pepper dip paired with a bag of homemade pita chips. Supporting small local businesses like Reem's shows how much I have Cali love for them. Anyone living in the East Bay know how much we're there for Reem's.

Incredible! The freshest bread, the freshest falafel, and the freshest toppings. By far the best falafel I've had in years! Certainly not dry, and I could taste the herbs used in the falafel. The wrap was flaky and delicious, toasted freshly right in front of you. The restaurant was teeming with customers around lunchtime, so leave yourself at least 30 minutes to get your food, at least during its opening phase. Great service, friendly employees, and overall a huge asset to the local community. So excited to have Reem's back!

So totally five stars!!! I am in love with this place. So close to my work so I can just walk over and grab this fresh delicious food. There are patio tables outside to dine on and a wonderful menu. I grabbed the falafel wrap and also the Pali Cali YUMMY!!!! I met Reema and Zane today and it was a pleasure. I hope to see this place thrive and cannot wait to dine in again. I will see you soon!

It's a surprise every day, which pizza they'll make, but it's guaranteed to always be good. The quality of the ingredients is top notch, the kind you can just taste. Even their salads, soups, and baked goods are delicious, it tastes like a quality bakery, for a place that's known for great pizza. This is definitely an if you know, you know spot, the kind you'll come back to for years on end for its consistency, its flavor, its heart. In total, we paid $7.50, which was not bad at all! The space is spacious inside with an ample parking lot, but I would say this is more of a grab-and-go place; there is some outdoor seating. We got a pizza with tomato, olive oil, feta, and olives. The service was quick, straightforward, and we were able to get our slices within 5 minutes and it came out hot which was great! The pizza itself is on the thinner side and has a good ratio of dough to cheese. The crust/base was chewy and light and did in fact, taste healthy (in a good way)! Do I think this place is somewhere you must go to try out? Honestly, no, it is a good value pizza that tastes delicious, but I would say to only stop in if you are around the area.

I didn't give myself any expectations because sometimes food that are trending are overhyped. But these desserts were really good, even the flavors I typically do not prefer. The prices are pretty up there - our order was roughly $110. Was it worth it? Yes. Would I get them again? Only on special occasions. The flavors we got are below (ranked from my personal fave to least fave): 1. Pistachio - I'm probably biased towards this since I always like anything pistachio flavored. 2. Strawberry - A little tart, sweet, and the shell is just so good. 3. Mango - If you're a mango lover, this might be your favorite. I typically do not get mango-flavored desserts, but this one was good. For it to make it to my Top 3 says a lot. 4. Raspberry - I forgot why but I remember liking this lol. 5. Avocado - This one was shocking. I do not like anything avocado-flavored. I was hesitant on trying this but it was actually delicious. Very mellow and creamy. 6. Blueberry - For blueberry fans, this might not be for you. I do not like blueberries but this one was edible enough for me because the blueberry taste was not that strong. 7. Pomegranate - This was pretty bland. It made me think what pomegranate really tasted like because I couldn't really remember from this dessert. 8. Lemon - Most disappointing. There was something odd about its tartness. Not your typical lemon-flavored items. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. You can see the staff work on the dessert behind the counter. The staff assisting us was very patient because we were very indecisive on what to get, but we ultimately got one of everything. I want to emphasize that none of the desserts are bad. My ranking is just based on personal faves and I'm pretty picky. Highly recommend!
