I likely wouldn't recommend. We got the walleye fish sandwich with tater tots $25 and the seafood pot pie $35. The food was acceptable, but I wouldn't say it was great. Most of the seafood in the pot pie was overcooked (rubbery texture). My boyfriend got the fish sandwich, which he said was great, but the tator tots he got were $6 alone; nothing was special about them. I would maybe suggest making it parmesan truffle tots or something. I feel jipped knowing I can buy a big bag of tator tots at Meijer for $6 and make enough servings for 8 people on my own. When you pay this much for food, it should somewhat blow you away with flavor and things being properly cooked. There were a few menu items that had a lot of seafood in it, such as the dish I got, but it didn't seem to have much composition/thought to it, compared to other fine dining establishments with these prices. Reflect is one of few restaurants in Traverse City that even take reservations all are doing their best to deal with Covid 19 Some restaurants normally do but don't now We started with Bloody Marys and Mimosas the drinks come from the bar and are made by an actual bartender and not the server doing double duty which contributes itself to a overall more efficient dining experience. Dined on the Andouille Sausage Hash, the East Bay Benedict ( twin smoked whitefish cakes, old bay hollandaise ) and the Farm Omelette. (3 eggs,beef tips,bacon,sausage and my choice cheddar cheese ) All of the dishes were very tasty!!! and come in very generous portions. Ate here twice during my four days in Traverse City. First was happy hour snacks. Had the smothered tots, Korean tacos, and beef sliders with fries. Sliders and tacos were excellent, as were the fries. The toppings on the tots were yummy, tots would have been better if made in house. Second meal was breakfast. Filet and eggs excellent, maple pancakes also excellent but served with potatoes seemed like overkill on the starches. The prime rib hash with onions and mushrooms was plentiful and tasted fine, could have used a bit of seasoning added. Basic scrambled eggs and bacon was so basic it was boring. Toasts/muffin neither added to the party nor detracted from it. That said overall the food ranged from good to great. Only true negative was the Americano I ordered, it was weak and bitter. Everything at this restaurant is amazing. Had the lobster ravioli appetizer it was delicous. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection. The asparagus with the filet was perfectly cooked as well. My husband had the four fish dish. Best walleye and fish I have had in the area. They have seats at the bar, they have high top tables in the bar area, they have fancy looking tables with white table cloths on them behind the bar/ towards the left of the bar area, & they have seating in the lounging area of the lobby where you can sit on comfy chairs / couches. They also have an assortment of snacks & drinks that you can purchase without eating there as well. You can order room service if you are staying in the hotel. The food was good, I ordered a Reflect Club Melt that came with a little side of salt & pepper chips & the sandwich was huge which is great & it was hot ! However, I personally did not think that it had a lot of flavor. My boyfriend ordered a burger and he said it was delicious! & it was huge as well. The sides are very small, don't expect to have a lot of fries or chips with your meal. But like I said the size of the sandwich and burger made up for the small sides. If the restaurant is busy you might have to wait a little bit but not too long. Drinks were good as well. Food & drinks were pretty expensive. Overall, I was satisfied & so was my boyfriend but I really didn't think it was all that. This is just my opinion! I'm basically trying to say that it was good but not amazing. read more

I first dined here last June. As a single diner then, I, of course, focused more on the food than had I been distracted in chatting with a companion or group. And the food was great! I returned with my wife this afternoon. If anything, the food was better, perhaps because I sampled more dishes, sharing my wife's choices as well. The calamari appetizer stood out from the usual servings of that dish due to (1) flash frying, which avoided the chewiness that comes from over-cooking, and (2) the light peanut/pepper sauce. The calamari lay on a tasty slaw-type mound which I liked, although I usually shudder at most cabbagey things. My wife's mushroom bisque was also terrific ... rich and earthy. It made us remember that mushrooms grow in dirt. Main dishes? We had local freshwater fish ... walleye, perch, smelt, whitefish. (A combination of all four is available in a single dish.) All were fresh and moist. Oh, and the servers are prompt and friendly. Situated off a hotel lobby, this is a restaurant that is probably underestimated. It should not be. Four of us went there for dinner on Oct 29 for dinner. Got good reviews on Trip Advisor. Situated in Cambria Hotel which should have been our first negative give away. No ambience, like eating in a diner in a cheap motel. Server Cyle had no idea about wines, when asked. Two of us ordered Fruti de Mar (sorry for spelling). Should be served with fettucine, instead served with wide noodles (stroganoff noodles), which should never be used with this kind of dish. Sauce should be white clam sauce or a red marinara sauce. Instead it was served with a cream soup sauce, which anyone who has ordered this would no is totally wrong. Entree prices averaged 36.00, which are reflective of a nicer restaurant. Complaining to the server accomplished zilch. Someone should have come over and asked what the issue was. No one apologized, asked what was wrong ,or offered a resolution. I did send it back and got salmon instead, which was good. Bottom line, do not go to this place because there are dozens of other better places in this trendy touristy nice town. We stopped here by chance because my husband had to stop in at urgent care next door. ( which I must add was a great little place if you ever get injured or sick they are fast and professional! ) anyways we ordered a bottle of rose, and their charcuterie plate, seriously best I have ever had, hands down! I make my own that I am pretty proud of this was served on a nice wood paddle with Fresh hot bread ( which they came back and gave us another loaf with out even asking) lots of meats, 5 beautiful cheeses, fig jam, strawberries apples and pecans. This place was a complete scam. To start off, the calamari serving portion was way to small. There wasn't even enough for a family of 2. The lobster bisque was served on such a huge plate, but only had the smallest portion possible. The seafood pot pie seemed as if it was made in the morning and was microwaved last minute. The kids mac and cheese was straight out of the box Kraft mac n cheese. The waitress kept getting side tracked and probably took forever to take our order. The pita chips were delicious! The server offered a sample of the white clam sauce for the Pappardelle Fruit de Mar, which was delicious, so I ordered it. My husband had the 6oz Filet. The food presentation was great, but unfortunately the meals were underwhelming. The pasta had scallops, shrimp and a whole lobster tail, but the pasta was dry and overall flavor was bland. My husbands steak was perfectly cooked but didn't have much flavor either.
