Movie theaters are a dying breed to begin with, so it shouldn't be surprising that Regal UA Washingtown Township doesn't get top marks. The theater is WAY better than the Crosskeys location nearby, but it's still got its issues. Regal UA is more modern by like 20 years on it's nearby sister Regal, but it was still pretty much beat to shit once you got to it. The theater I was in had some seats that had definitely seen better days, and they usher crew barely cleaned it from whomever was in there last. I'm not sure who that was, as the place was an absolute ghost town. I literally had the entire theater to myself. (To be fair, I was seeing a showing that THEY didn't even know they were showing...lol) From THAT perspective, you could almost see it as a positive; you could go enjoy a movie in absolute solitude, if you don't mind a little (lot) of wear and tear in your environment. On Monday April 21st myself and a friend went to the 6:20 screening of "The Amateur" At Regal the UA Washington Township 121 Tuckahoe Road, Sewell, NJ A large group of teenagers snuck in from another film that had finished I heard them say. They sat behind us and yelled and ran around the theater hitting me several times in the back of the head. I finally went to get the manager and he sent someone else for me to talk to. I told him I want them removed and what was going on and that they had snuck in and I wanted a refund for my ticket and concessions If this continues. He did nothing but look in and they had shut up and sat still for 10 seconds when he looked. After it continued I went back to find anyone to talk to and there were only the kids working the concessions around and nobody knew where anyone was. I spent $41 for two tickets on a Monday night and another $25 for popcorn and two bottles of water. What is the policy of Regal on removing people like this from the theater? The usher didn't even ask to see proof they paid to get in the screening or say anything to them. I had to leave the film early before I took care of it myself and then I bet the management from the theater would have stepped in. Saturday, July 20. 6:40pm. Hot!!! We are about to watch Aladdin in theater #9. It is beyond warm. Several people have complained including myself. The manager told us he has to call corporate office to turn it down. None of us understood this logic. It's almost 100 degrees outside and it's humid, moist and hot in this theater. This is a great movie theater. My brother and I brought our father here to see Star Wars The Last Jedi. We reserved our recliner seats online and arrived with enough time to get our snacks and make our way to our seats before the previews began. I always have a phenomenal time here. The biggest attraction is the reclining leather seats that are SO comfortable and spacious. For the most part they are clean. Of course, they have all the latest movie selections and they use Movie Pass. The theaters are large as well. As for food, I have no comment because I never buy anything there. You are able to bring in your own food with a backpack. If you require closed captioning the theater has special glasses at no charge that will provide captions for the movie and previews. The clientele here is excellent which is a big deal to me considering I live and work in Philadelphia where theaters are populated with hoodrats that don't understand social norms like turning your cell phone off, not talking during a movie, and generally not being obnoxious. Have been here a few times each time the place has been clean including the rest rooms and the actual theater area. When you purchase tickets you purchase for a specific seat like at a sporting event so don't worry about who's sitting next to you (unless your at the end of course) or having enough seats for your entire party. The seats are nice leather electric reclining chairs so getting comfy isn't a problem but trying to stay awake is. The staff is younger as you would except and as friendly as a teenager and can be. Food is way over priced as you would imagine but all in all every experience I've had here has been good. If your not to far from here this is the place to go. read more

Was told by a very rude employee that because he felt that my 11 year old daughter looks older than that, he is going to charge her as an adult and said he is not in the mood to argue and that is theater policy. Asked to speak to someone was told no. Even asked to speak to the next cashier was told we couldn't even talk to her. He said that it is theatre policy and they can charge based on how old they think person looks. And he felt she looked older than 11, which she doesn't. I have plenty proof that she is the age she is. He yelled at us and was very rude and disrespectful. I called and spoke to someone and they assured me there was no such policy and was told I can come get a refund of the difference for a child ticket. Wow. And they will speak to him about it. This person doesn't need to work in customer service. You are not representing the company well. Making up your on policies based and who you want to say it to. I was simply trying to use two free tickets I had received from the credits. I was attempting to buy tickets online and in doing so, the app was so complicated. It had me click off to go to another web page, and when I clicked off the page the app took 18,000 of my online credits. So I had to go back and redeem the tickets again, spending another 18,00 of my credits. The app needs to have an option where I can redeem credits for free tickets. The world is just getting back to an in-person world, and I am more comfortabl purchasing my tickets online. Apps are meant to be accessible to all people and this app was unnecessarily complicated. Just took my wife to the movies at Regal UA Washington Twsp. We spent close to $50 and had a very bad experience. The popcorn was too salty. We asked for extra butter and got no butter. The theater volume was excessively loud. Theater staff was not responsive to questions and the theater set-up has changed. Remember when a cineplex labeled each theater for the movie that was showing. Not here. Remember when the times and prices were listed where you buy the ticket. Not here. I can get a 4K HDR movie rental for $6.99 at home. The seats won't be sticky and I'll get decent takeout food for less than a large popcorn and a large coke. This is generally a nice theater. The seats are comfortable and the sodas are cold. I've visited here the last three weekends and I have two complaints... There are flying bugs in theater 3 and 4. They distracted me and the family in front of me. We were all swatting. I saw one fly towards me and then it disappeared. At that point I didn't finish my bucket of popcorn due to it being dark. The other thing is when making my popcorn the workers had their thumb inside the bucket opposed to holding the bucket by the bottom. YUCK! #training read more

We went to the movies on 7/3/23 at 9:30pm. The seats were all so worn they looked worse than recliners I've seen on the side of the road! The theater was SO HOT and STUFFY. It had to be at least 10 degrees hotter in there than in the hallways and snack bar. The AC WAS NOT ON. My husband went to tell them to turn it on. It came on for about 10 minutes then went off. He went back again. Same thing. I went back about an hour in because it was so stuffy and warm I was getting overheated. I sat in the empty hallway to cool down. They turned it on again. Then it went off again. My husband went for the 3rd time. They told him they have to email the company that controls the AC and they turn it on. But why were they turning it off after 10 minutes each time? To cut costs? Or was it because we were watching a controversial movie about child trafficking? Idunno. No other people were coming out of the other 13 theaters complaining about the AC. The hallway and snack bar areas were COLD. And oh, it's hot in the bathrooms as well. How about turning ON the AC in the THEATER where the PAYING PEOPLE are and cutting back the AC in the EMPTY hallway? And at least have SOME air circulation in the bathrooms! Years ago this theater was the Taj Mahal of theaters. Now it's a place that's not worth the $16.49 they charged the 3 of us to see the movie. I didn't get to enjoy it like I would have had I not had to fan myself with a piece of paper I found in my purse. At least have some ceiling fans for air circulation. We checked out this theatre to see Life of Pi late on Friday evening, and I was surprised to see that there were hardly any people there at all. There were maybe three groups in our theater which made for a quiet, relaxing viewing. Everything from the hallways to the bathrooms was clean and well kept. I was a little disappointed in the film selection (Jack the Giant Slayer in both regular and 3D? Really?), but I ended up really enjoying Life of Pi so there were no regrets there. I just returned from a showing of The Disaster Artist at the United Artist Washington Township 14. This isn't my regular theater but The Disaster Artist is only playing on 800 screens nationwide and the UA 14 is the closest multiplex screening the film. United Artists is a brand owned by Regal Cinemas. I'm a member of the Regal Crown Club and downloaded the handy app for my phone. I sometimes forget to bring my physical membership card with me and the app is a great way to keep track of and redeem your points. The Disaster Artist is based on a wonderful book of the same name by actor Greg Sestero about the making of The Room, the so called "worst movie ever. Sestero's memoir was optioned by James Franco. I've been tracking the film adaptation since the project was first announced some time ago. Franco is a hit-and-miss actor but between his work on The Disaster Artist and dual role on HBO's The Deuce 2017 might be the strongest year of his career. Franco surprised me with his performance of Tommy Wiseau, the eccentric cult filmmaker behind The Room. Franco's portrayal went beyond mere Saturday Night Live caricature and emphasized the vulnerability and fierce determination of a Hollywood outsider trying to make a name for himself. Unfortunately, I chose to see The Disaster Artist on the same day Star Wars: The Last Jedi was released. Unlike the rest of America, I'm not that huge of a Star Wars fan. I like director Rian Johnson so I'll go see the movie eventually, but it seems that most people needed to see the film on opening day. The theater was packed! I had to stand in line at the ticket booth and then endure an even longer line at the snack bar. I ordered a large popcorn, large soda, and a box of Buncha Crunch. There are free same-day refills on large popcorn and large soda and I believe candy is discounted if purchased alongside a combo. I feared I might miss the beginning of The Disaster Artist but ultimately arrived just as the last trailer was ending. My auditorium was nearly empty because most moviegoers were busy watching their space operas. The reclining leather seats were very comfortable and I greatly enjoyed the movie. It started snowing when I first entered the theater and approached whiteout conditions by the time my movie was over. I tried to call for an Uber but my phone died; I guess I spent too much battery power redeeming my credits on the Regal app. I make a trek across the snow-covered parking lot and entered a strip mall located directly across from the theater. I purchased a new iPhone charger at a Bed, Bath & Beyond and had to wait at a nearby pizza restaurant for over a half-hour before my Uber arrived. I'm not sure if any movie was worth the aggravation I encountered trying to get back home, but The Disaster Artist was certainly fun and I'm glad I saw it. read more

They've redone this theater recently. Much cleaner with reclining chairs. The $5 movies on Tuesday are a great value, and worth the trip over the AMC Deptford theaters that are much closer to me. Quality is great in the middle of the theater, going to try a front row seat tonight. Update: Tried front row and found the seats don't recline quite as much as the ones in AMC Deptford, which is disappointing to me as I usually love to sit in the front row and have the image fill my entire vision. read more

I have been going here for years and the MANAGER ON DUTY on 07/21/2017 at UA Theater 14 along with at least three other representatives took brooms and started whacking them in the air trying to take down a bat that got into the theater. Instead of calling animal control like they should have, they decided to hit the bat with a broom, sweep it into one of those trash butlers as if it was dead and threw it outside - the bat was still alive. Not only this is animal cruelty, them whacking the brooms nearly hit my partner in the face. Also, the cop in there did NOTHING to stop it and allowed it to happen. The theater itself is decently kept but the fact that there's only 1-2 ticket windows is a big fail. There's also no automatic machine for you to buy your own tickets. I'd say if you can, buy online ahead of time with Moviefone.com so you can just walk right in. Otherwise you'll be standing around 15+min. Certainly don't come if you're in a time pinch. Also, during the entire movie we saw, there was a large blurry spot on the screen. I could've gone to the counter and told someone but... just ignored it. We have been going here this summer for the $1 pre-run movies for the children. We enjoyed the three that were shown. I have been coming to this theatre since I moved to Cumberland County nearly 20 years ago. I saw The Cable Guy, The Brady Bunch movie, and many other movies over the years. Awful. Got here early. Ordered a Diet Coke and a cherry coke as well as a hot dog. Sat down to find the sodas were wrong. (As a side note my chair was broken-- only went back so far and the bottom half was crooked). Had to go back and get them fixed.
