Using Resy to make a reservation, we came in on a Sunday lunch hour to find it was not busy. We asked for seating outdoors since the weather was so nice. Service was top notch and very friendly. Menu was limited, but their dishes are all excellent - mussels in garlic wine was the best. Next was the yellowtail sashimi. Must order the bread and the butter which was to die for! Wine menu went well with the items and had 2 glasses.

Yumm! Came here for my birthday dinner in March and again for my graduation dinner 2 nights ago! Had a great experience both times and it's a great restaurant! Their wagyu steak was absolutely delicious and wow to their fries. Perfect crispiness. The owners are absolutely amazing as well. Pretty interior and great vibe. Definitely recommend!!

First of all, amazing service and attentive staff. Everyone was so kind here which made our experience start off amazingly! We arrived before our reservation, and the manager / owner made sure to ask us if we wanted to order drinks and brought us drinks while we waited. Star of the show is the steak frites! Vibes are 10/10 here perfect for a week night or weekend date night, feels like a quick trip to a Paris bistro

French onion soup, croque Monsieur were delicious as expected But surprising favorites were scallop crudo and the mushroom linguine! I wish I remembered the name but the linguine was creamy and deliciously savory.

Regalade is owned by the owners of OSTE which was one of my favorite meals this year. Needless to say, I was excited to try out this new French bistro. I came here with my parents who were in town. Since they fly in from the east coast, we had a 5pm reservation. Which was perfect because it wasn't super busy. It was a nice day out so we sat on the patio. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The dirty martini is smooth. I could easily see someone getting drunk off more than one of them. The steak tartare was delicious. The server stirs it up table side. It comes with a side of crostini to stack the tartare one. The marinated beet salad was very refreshing. I think I'd skip it next time and get the escargot instead. I can't believe we missed that. The French onion soup was amazing. A must order! The scallops crudo was incredibly tasty. The sauce was a little sweet but my dad likes it that way. The mussels mariniere was my favorite thing we ate. Make sure you order the baguette so you soak up the delicious sauce. And of course the French fries, because you can't order mussels without a good side of fries. Overall i highly recommend Regalade, and I can't wait to come back.

It was my first time trying this newly opened French spot and it definitely serves classic French flavors. A classy dimly lit restaurant. The bread and butter is a must get. The bread was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside and it's perfect for dipping in the French onion soup or scooping up the rest of the chive beurre Blanc sauce. The French onion soup($15) was hearty, cheesy, and buttery. It was a classic beef broth with tons of caramelized onions which made me so full before the main course. It's definitely more of a beefy French onion soup in comparison to other French onions I've tried. The scallops ($20) were served with a sweet a yuzu & jalapeño vinaigrette that brought out the natural sweetness of the scallops. I will say I think the portion is a bit small. Next we got the grilled octopus with a Romesco sauce which is a blend of herbs, tomato, almonds, and bell pepper. The octopus was extremely tender and grilled which paired well with the nutty and vibrant romesco. For the main, we shared a branzino($32) with chive beurre blanc. The light flavors of the butter complimented the branzino. The fish was also perfectly grilled and the skin a little crispy. I will say that it could have benefited from a little more salt nit there's salt on the table if needed. I appreciate the big portion sizes of the mains since they were really filling. We ended the night with a scoop of pistachio gelato($6). It was unique since the pistachio flavor was very natural and amazing but the gelato itself was icy but I think it's supposed to be that way. If I'm ever craving French food I would 100% come back to regalade. Our server was also attentive and sweet and i appreciated still being seated despite being a bit late for my reservation.

Amazing meal here! Very Parisian bistro vibe except service was better. Everything we ordered was very good with the steak frites, duck confit, beet salad and onion soup being outstanding. The steak tartar was a bit spicy, which I didn't expect. House dirty martini with oyster add on was memorable. One of the best French bistro meals I've had in socal if not the best. Service was friendly and quick. Authentic French ambiance with patio.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here, this was aan absolute 10/10. Everything we had here was so delicious and perfectly prepared. Drink menu is lovely, they have some of their own cocktails as well as a lovely selection of wines. The menu was almost exactly as if it were pulled from a Parisian bistro and placed into the heart of LA. My favorites were the chicken liver, the escargot (get some bread to pair with this), and the duck confit - perfectly tender with a nice crisp to it. Service was impeccable - we were cared for and the team was so kind despite an issue that came up on our part. Highly recommend using the valet for parking on a busy weekend night or Ubering if you're close by -- you'll have to be very lucky to find any metered parking as the neighboring streets are permit only This spot is very chic, understated but refined. Interiors are cozy, and if you sit outside the heaters will keep you warm still. Come here if you'd like a taste of Paris in LA!

My friend treated me to a birthday lunch at Regalade, and it was such a lovely experience. We shared the Gambas appetizer, the Pear & Endive Salad, and the Steak Frites, along with a glass of crisp Chenin Blanc. The wine was truly delicious! Every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely yummy. The salad was fresh and balanced, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the Gambas were packed with a unique flavor that the waiter described as Pernod that we could not stop dipping our baguette in. Beyond the food, I loved the cozy French bistro atmosphere. The charming décor creates the perfect mood for a fun meal. It reminded me of summers visiting my grandparents in Perpignan, France. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The onion soup and escargot are my list to try next.

My besties wanted someplace special to celebrate their birthdays and Regalade sounded like the perfect place. This charming French Bistro is quaint & cozy with indoor & outdoor seating. It was a warm spring evening and we were seated out on the patio. There were ten of us so lots of dishes were ordered and drinks were plentiful. We started with Baguette Tiede, Calamar Grille, Os A Moelle Au Four, Scallops Crudo, Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Salade D'Endive, & French Fries with Garlic Aioli to share. Entrées consisted of: Moules Mariniere, Salade Verte with warm Goat Cheese, Daurade Grille, Canard Confit, Mac & Cheese Aux Truffes, & Linguine Aux Champignons Sauvages. We shared dessert: Mousse Au Chocolate Noir, Ile Flottante, Crème Brûlée (two orders of each), and Noisette Glace. My cocktail selections were Passion Project & a Kir Royale. I also tried the Le Péché Mignon & the Regalade. All were tasty. The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was expertly prepared and nicely presented. The dishes came out in a timely manner, and we never felt rushed. Everyone enjoyed their entrée selections and the dishes we shared. Our server Sal was fantastic, Tony the host was delightful, and the owner Justin checked on us to make sure everything was satisfactory and even took a picture with the birthday couple. Overall, our dining experience at Regalade was outstanding or shall I say, très magnifique! *Metered street parking.

I wandered into Regalade without intending. My friends and I meant to go to another restaurant with an obnoxious wait time, so instead we stopped for drinks here. Drinks quickly turned into appetizers...which then turned into a whole meal! If you are looking for authentic French cuisine and fresh seafood, Regalade is it! We sat at the bar and got cocktails. My Aperol Spritz was perfect--sweet and refreshing. I then ordered the baguette with butter (Baguette Tiède). DELICIOUS! (I mean, you can't have a good French restaurant without a good buttered baguette!!) The butter is so delicious....definitely puts Kerrygold to shame!! I followed that with a tasting of several of their "Petits Plats"--a little bit of the Marinated Beet Salad and the Assiette de Merguez (lamb sausage). Both were well done and tasty! By this time, we were hooked and wanted more. For my entree, I ordered the Linguine aux Champignons Sauvages--EXCELLENT! Creamy and comforting. I also took bites of my friends' mains: the Magret de Canard (duck breast) and Branzino. Honestly, everything was excellent. Flavors were en pointe! Definitely come for the food! The locale itself is small but nicely decorated. While I wish we got a proper table, we were walk-ins. Regardless, the restaurant is charming, with black and white pictures of famous French actors like Brigitte Bardot on the wall. The bar has a great view of the fresh sea food as well. For a cocktail, appetizer, entree, tax, and tip, I paid $84.60. And best of all? Zero wait for this hidden gem! :-)

We decided to try this place again and this time order more traditional French food and wow, everything was different! To start, we got the endive salad and I love how fresh this tasted as well as the flavor profiles with the walnuts, pear, blue cheese and endive. I'm not the biggest fan of endives in general but this was very refreshing and my friend also loved it. Then we got two appetizers: escargot and prawns. Wow! The escargot was absolutely phenomenal. It was soaked in this butter sauce that was incredible. The table next to us actually packed just the sauce to go which shows how delicious that sauce was. It was also amazing with the bread. The prawns were also very tasty as well. If you love prawns, definitely check out this dish. Then we got two mains: mussels provencale and steak frites. The mussels were amazing! We loved the sauce and that went incredibly well with the bread. The mussels also tasted very fresh. The steak was equally as amazing. The au poivre sauce it came with was so delicious. At this point we were stuffed so unfortunately (or fortunately) we did have leftovers. To end the night, we also had this apple tart that came highly recommended by the owner and this was incredible! It was perfectly flavored with the cinnamon and it went really well with the ice cream. We also decided to go for a cup of french mint tea which was perfect since it helps with digestion and we definitely needed that after this delicious meal. My dad ended up eating the leftover steak the next day and he raved about it. We also had two mocktails which were also delicious and the service we had was incredible. Definitely check out this place and even though everything we had this time was delicious, the two absolute standouts for me were the escargot and mussels!

Like people said it was romantic and I was like sure, I guess in the pictures it kind of does. In person though??? Wow. Absolutely wow. I was in awe. I wish I could sit there every day. The lights and ambiance are truly insane. I have never experienced anything like it. Let me backtrack too and say that I paid $14 for valet which tbh is not too bad considering I didn't have to worry about my car or anything so it was worth it. Okay the food. We got Parker rolls and the Mezze plate for the table. Wow, the Parker rolls were as you would expect. Buttery goodness. French butter as you know...top tier. Okay the Mezze plate? Every single sauce was so good. The little cous cous thing in the Mezze plate was so cute and yummy. Then the main dishes. Seven vegetable couscous was great. As a Moroccan, I can say it was a great vegetarian version of the dish. Has the staple veggies you look for in a cous cous. My friend got the vegan cauliflower steak and that was so beautiful and tasted delicious. It was a great dish for my vegan friend. Our waiter was so nice and really personable as well. From start to finish, he was there for us when we needed him and we really enjoyed our dining experience because of him. I forgot his name but he's a star. I have already recommended this place to others because it really was so incredible. I am so happy I got to come here.

We were seated all the way in the back, in a little corner circle that was difficult to even get into. On top of that, it was SO hot with absolutely no air circulation or fan. We were sweating pretty much the entire night. It was honestly terrible. When we arrived, we asked if we could sit outside instead, but the host told us it would be an hour wait. Like... we had reservations! That was really disappointing. Now, the food was actually great -- 4/5 The black mussels were the star of the night! The sauce was absolutely delicious. The tuna tartare special was also really good. We also had the ribeye steak, which was delicious thought the scalloped potatoes and green beans lacked salt and the housemade pappardelle, which was another great choice! Overall, I would definitely recommend the food, but ASK for outdoor seating when you make your reservation. Otherwise, you may end up stuck in the back sweating all night, and honestly, that can really ruin the experience.

The heirloom tomatoes on the caprese were delicious, and the matcha latte was very good. But for a place positioning itself as French comfort food, I expected much more from the basics, especially the bread. The bread and butter side was surprisingly underwhelming, and even the caprese bread felt more Trader Joe's caliber than French café. The biggest disappointment was the $18 French onion soup. I swear the frozen French onion soup from Trader Joe's is better. The fries weren't particularly French either, more like standard diner fries. Service was nice but lackadaisical, and the additional 4% Healthy LA charge is annoying. It just makes an already overpriced meal feel more overpriced and forces you to mentally adjust the tip. Overall, I think this place works better as a sip-and-chill café than a culinary destination. During our recent trip, we decided to stop there for lunch/dinner and were seated quickly at one of the tables in the walkway between the various stalls. The restaurant serves French cuisine at a variety of dishes and price points. All of us decided on boeuf bourguignon and I got a side of pomme frites for the table to share. Food came out pretty quickly and it was a good portion for the price paid. The flavors in the bourguignon were balanced and not overpowering - there were lots of pieces of beef throughout as well. There were plenty of pomme frites for 3 people to share easily and were light and crisp. Because we were seated in one of the walkways for the rest of the market, depending on the time of day you go, it can vary in terms of noise levels. We were there in mid-afternoon and it was a bit lively, but not so loud where you had to shout to hear other people at the table. These tables in the walkway are shaded, so you don't have to worry about the sun on you. Overall, it was a delicious meal and a great option for a nicer experience without fancy attire. For parking, you may park in the lots for the Farmers Market or The Grove - the restaurant does validate for parking.

The escargot is probably the best I've had. I loved how buttery it was and the snail itself was so fresh and tender. I'd definitely repurchase this on another visit. I even dipped some of the baguette bread (which had the best crunch!) into the butter and it was perfection! For our mains, we got the sea bass with lentils and the Alaskan halibut, and both were prepared perfectly down to taste and texture. Everything about its execution felt very intentional. The halibut was baked with the right amount of breading and the sea bass was pan seared to give that nice crispy texture to the skin. My only critique is I thought the lentils were a bit too overpowering because of the huge quantity, but honestly, everything else was amazing enough that I'm not bothered by it.

Overall this restaurant layout was pretty cool and the night we went the noise level was moderate but I can see that if its packed this place could get loud. They offer outdoor seating as well that looked cozy. Our waiter and his team was very attentive and always made sure we had what we needed so service was exceptional. Food is always an area that I leave up to everyone's own taste. To me I felt some of the dishes needed more salt but I always enjoy my food from how the chef prepped it so I can try new dishes.
