I am a listing agent Buyer wanted a minor leak on a reverse osmosis Delta faucet fixed or replaced with the same faucet. The first plumber said the whole system has to be replaced. $1098. I agreed. They installed the next day - but with a cheap entry level. The homeowner also reported that the dishwasher no longer received water flow. he gave me the faucet part. I ordered it. Another Reliant plumber showed up. pulled everything apart before saying he couldn't connect them. Left. That was 2 days ago and I was supposed to get a manager call. Still waiting. Looked up the instructions online how to fix. All it takes is a couple of fittings. Now how does licensed plumber not carry fittings with them?? For everyone out there, plumbers in Texas are regulated by the TSBPE. They have a complaint form and can lose their license over legitimate complaint

The foot of tubing & 2 clamps they installed

I had an active water leak from my kitchen sink. The guy who came to my house was not dressed like a plumber, but like a salesman. I showed him where the leak was. He cut a big hole in my sheetrock, observed the leak, then immediately asked if I had a water softener & said he thinks it's bad. He asked me to show him where it was located so I took him to the garage where he glanced at it & said ,"yep, it's bad, that's the cause of your leak." He then asked where my water heater was & I said right next to the water softener you're looking at, in that closet. He opened the closet door & said, "yeah your water heater is also bad & about to go out too." He then began his whole 30 minute sales pitch trying to sell me a new water softener & water heater for $10k+!!! Not once did he mention just the cost of repairing my leak which he was there for in the first place, he immediately went into scam mode! I asked him for literature on the products he was trying to sell me & he said he didn't have any! So I asked, how much to fix the leak? He could not hide the anger in his face that I did not fall for his sales pitch & said $1,500.00. To top it all off, he didn't even repair the leak. He put black duct tape around it, left it actively leaking & said he will have a plumber come out tomorrow to fix it & left a mess with all the sheetrock he cut into. The plumber arrived, fixed the leak & was in & out in 15 minutes. After watching him, I saw he used about a foot of blue pex tubing & 2 clamps to make the repair, which is literally less than $30 in materials. I told the plumber (who was actually a nice guy) that the salesman was a complete rip off & he responded, "yeah it's like that sometimes." So if you're looking to get sold $10k worth of stuff you don't need to fix your leak call Reliant! They will take good care of you!!!! Do Not RELY On Reliant!!!

DISASTROUS! DO NOT CALL THEM EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT. I will give the full details of this nightmare another time, but for now these are the high level details. It's way worst than this, but I don't have time to type it up because this is what I have been left with. Currently backfilling a 40' trench that has been here for 22 days because: 1. They never pulled a permit until two weeks after work started. 2. They misdiagnosed the problem and didn't fix the issue until I demanded a technician come back out. Then told me to pour Drano down my tub to fix the issue they didn't want to come back for. 3. Took apart my irrigation system, told me they would put it back together and are refusing to now. They didn't mark the irrigation box, and the mound of dirt has been here so long we are left with shreds of plastic. Which is why it will now take me hours to finish this. Again I will tell me full story on every outlet but please protect yourself and call someone else.

Forged signature on a liability form
Renee S.

if I could give zero stars I would. having a routine water heater flush apparently includes the tech FORGING your signature on the liability form, being incredibly condescending to the homeowners by letting them know to go on youtube to find out what he is doing, smelled gas and performed a gas leak detection and never let me know, and then when I called to find out why I smelled gas, he said he did in fact smell gas prior to emptying the water heater (WHICH HE NEVER TOLD ME). thats not helpful nor fixing a potential gas leak situation. I have been trying to call for 5 days and I have been pushed off by multiple people. seems that no one is trained properly in this company. I was informed that a company wide training will be had (seems as though I am not the only one experiencing RIDICULOUS service.) The ONLY reason I had them come out to do any work at all whatsoever is because they called me no less than 14 times to schedule our 'FREE(?!?!)' water heater flush since we had work done last year by them. I finally gave in even though we ALL know anyone else would have done a better job than someone who FORGED MY SIGNATURE ON THE LIABILITY FORM. Grounds for a lawsuit considering I STILL have air in my pipes 5 days later and was told to 'run the water for 1-5 minutes'. This is absurd. This company is a joke. DO NOT RECOMMEND RELIANT PLUMBING FOR ANYTHING! IT IS A SCAM! EDIT*** To add to the review that I left since owner Max H just replied and 'wants to be clear that signatures are not forged by his company', I wanted to share the photo of the email sent to me after the technician left my home, a Liability form in which I had never seen NOR SIGNED. THIS IS NOT MY SIGNATURE.

Honestly the work is good...as it should be from a master plumber…read more The issue I have is the issue I've had with literally every plumber ever. They've got you over a barrel when they come out and start throwing parts. This was an install of a drop in kitchen sink and faucet. He told me his hourly rate was 135 bucks. I was expecting to spend about 400 maybe 500. The final bill was 850. I feel I was overcharged on both the parts and labor. He charged me starting 45 min before he got there but still included a "truck charge." The removal and replace of the sink took 2 hours. To me the "clock" starts on the labor at the agreed upon arrival time. When I'm getting charged 439(!) bucks for parts on top of the sink and faucet itself, that extra charge for labor is quite unwelcome. I mean the sink and faucet itself that were "nice" were like 500 bucks. So almost that again just in parts. ‍ His answer in general as I look at these reviews is that he buys his parts from a plumber supply not Home Depot etc. I would have to research each individual part to see if its price point is "fair". A perusal of solid brass fittings and pvc p traps on the Lowe's site shows the price I paid was about doubled. He acted quite insulted that I wouldn't know just how much better his parts were and implied they were all but unavailable at big box stores. literally doubling what I expected to pay was quite a shock to say the least. It is what it is. If I was able to do it myself, I would've. Live and learn Learn a trade kids lol

Exceptional O & Plumbing Service Experience…read more I highly recommend O & M Plumbing for any plumbing needs. In particular, Chris F. has consistently demonstrated exceptional skill and professionalism on every project of mine. His attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship set him apart as a truly outstanding plumber. Project Background I recently purchased an older home, full of charm and distinctive bathrooms. However, I encountered a leak in the master shower that required the p-trap under the shower drain to be replaced before new tile work could be completed. My concern was that reconnecting the new p-trap to the antique cast iron drains in the foundation might cause the cast iron to crumble. Chris F.'s Approach and Solutions Chris came to the rescue, using a camera down the drain to evaluate the situation. He explained the difference between what was probable and what was possible, providing two bids: one for the probable good case and one for the possible problem case. Having used Chris before with excellent results, I trusted his methods, which are always the least intrusive and focused on effective access. In the worst-case scenario, Chris would need to cut and excavate a 2' x 2' hole in the foundation around the shower drain, then tunnel no more than five feet under the foundation from that access point to secure a solid connection to the iron drainpipe. In the best-case scenario, he would only need to excavate a 2' x 2' hole around the shower drain to replace and secure the new p-trap. He also showed me pictures of his past work for reassurance. Successful Outcome Fortunately, the best-case and probable case prevailed. While fixing the p-trap, Chris also discovered an unrelated drain leak under the foundation, which he repaired at no extra charge. I felt I received excellent value for the service provided. Professionalism and Work Quality Chris left the work site clean, as he has always done in the past. He and his co-worker collaborated well, using a small and quiet jackhammer designed specifically for plumbing foundation work. The new drain looks beautiful, and I can confidently proceed with the new tile work, knowing that the unseen part of the shower is sound and affordable. Appreciation Thanks to O & M Plumbing for introducing me to Chris F. and Mike. Both are good and considerate professionals, and I am grateful to have them working in my home.
