Good food and beer but pricey. I ended up paying $20 for a sandwich and one beer. The turkey melt was great though, with pepper jack cheese and Hatch chiles. The "chips" were a little odd. Not crisp as a chip usually is, but more like a home fry, although chip shaped. And served on a skewer. The do have a good selection of local beer. Cute little brewery with good food/good beer! Ordered the Green Chile Turkey Melt (anything with green chile sells me plus waitress mentioned Turkey is fresh) with chips--pretty good! Hot wings just ok-but I'm picky about my wings. My son got kids Mac-n-Cheese-- so yummy but Very cheesy (I like that)! Beer could of been a little colder but it did the job! We were passing though Winslow and saw all the amazing reviews. No pics of our food as we ordered to go then scarfed it down, but here is a view while we were waiting! We had the chicken tenders and the fish tacos, great fresh cut fries and ranch dressing tasted homemade. Tacos were the perfect blend of crispy blue corn, spicy slaw and perfectly cooked fish. We think it will be worth a day trip drive from phoenix to eat here again. COVID traveling win! They were super busy so suggest you call it in ahead if getting it to go! read more

I went in for a beer and stayed for the food. The atmosphere was part sports bar, part chic restaurant and 100% neighborhood place. I was welcomed like a local despite never being here before. The beer choices are wide and well thought out, the sausage appetizer was excellent (loved their version of mustard, as well as the onion sauerkraut creation) and I only wish I was hungrier so I could have tried more appetizers. We stopped in Winslow Arizona to stand on the corner and decided to stop here for lunch. A great decision on our part. My husband had a beer and I had a Tequila Sunrise (of course) and split a Reuben and chips. The sandwich was hot, fresh and tasty. Our drinks were so good! Best of all it seemed like a real close knit neighborhood place even though, according to our waitress, all but one of the customers were just passing through. Upon entering you find a aged industrial decor. Brandie and the two-big guys as the cooks were as friendly as could be. She offered us tasting of the craft beers on tap. The Armadillo Eggs were awesome and the Relic Chips are a must! We were not on the corner, but we did pass through. Parking was close and free. We will stop by again, if in the area. Great spot to visit while visiting Winslow! We drove up from Phoenix to visit the Meteor Crater, then decide to drive to Winslow for dinner. Service was attentive and friendly. Decor is festive, great for good photos. Lots of beer choices, I had the Huss Papago Orange Blossom from San Tan Valley and it was awesome! Served with an orange slice. I ordered the Canyon Diablo burger and at the servers recommendation switched the normal bagel bun for a split top bun. The burger (nedium) was cooked perfect, juicy, lots of flavor. The green Chile's and Sriracha slaw had a kick to it. I added salt but I tend to add salt to everything. Love the potato chips! My kids wanted to order fries but I told them to trust me and go with the Relic chips. They thought it was so cool, giant spiraled friend potato. My husband got the Southwestern burger (medium) and added bacon, subbed fries. He LOVED it. Said it was in his top 5 burgers. Few of my kids (we have 6) ordered the kids Mac & Cheese and were full which normally doesn't happen. The French fries are fresh and thinner cut. A must try in Winslow! (Also, table top video game was free which was cool for the kids). Restrooms were clean. Small outside tables. We easily found an 8 top table around 6:30pm on a Sunday. read more

This is a new joint, so I'm being a little more thorough in my review than I typically am, kind of in the hope that they will read it . If Yelp let you do half-stars, this would be a **3.5.** After conferring with my colleagues, we decided to round up because this is a new place and because I have given 3's to decidedly far worse joints. First impressions: menu is a little short; there's a few sandwiches and a build-your-own-burger. There's a few things apparently not on the menu as well (unclear if those are specials or just not written down). Beer selection is typical; all of the stuff on tap is local AZ brew. Lighting is typical for a bar; few TV's with sports stations on. Nice environment. Seating is good for groups of 2-6; you seat yourself, so be considerate of others. Street parking is variable depending on the day and time of day. Food: I got a chicken sandwich, as did one of my friends; the other two got a Reuben and a Turkey Croissant. In my opinion, it was a solid chicken sandwich, but nothing to write home about and a bit steep in pricing at $10.99; I would rate it as a $7.50 sandwich. It's a white meat breast with the usual vegetable toppings, and in my case of ordering it 'Rusty,' came with blue cheese and buffalo sauce. The good part was that the bun was soft but still held up throughout the meal and the vegetables were definitely fresh. You will walk away feeling like you got a quality, relatively healthy sandwich that is readily distinguishable from a fast food chain. The not so good part is that the blue cheese and buffalo sauce were not very pervasive; even when you got them in certain bites, it wasn't very strong. This was generally true of the construction of the sandwich as a whole; you almost certainly were not guaranteed to get a bite with everything in it except at the literal center. This inconsistency is generally not so great in my opinion; getting a bite with bread, chicken, and nothing else, or bread and three vegetables, is a bit odd. The vegetables far out-massed the chicken, and because they're all highly water-based, the sandwich came across as under-seasoned and generally bland when you didn't get much of the sauce. The chicken was a bit dry, not unbearably so, but it was also not rescued by the sauce because of the latter's general absence, and as a standalone piece of chicken, it would not have fared well. Also of note was what I will refer to as the 'pickle disparity.' The pickle spear was excellent. Crunchy, fresh, good green color on the rind and pale white on the inside. The sliced pickles in the sandwich were run-of-the-mill pickles akin to what you can get at Safeway. Because I experienced an excellent pickle spear, that made the sandwich seem cheap since it didn't have that pickle in it. The chips or whatever you want to call them are interesting; they come as a single, spiral cut (think like a giant curly fry with flat slices like a potato chip) on a skewer. We were not entirely sure how to eat this (kebab vs. corn on the cob were the two main hypotheses), and there was some variation between the four plates; mine were kind of soft, closer to breakfast potatoes, and my friends' were generally crunchier and closer to potato chips. So we're not entirely sure what they're going for to be honest... We also got the 'armadillo eggs,' these are basically large jalapeño poppers (4.5" long). They're flavorful, and the outside batter is really well-done in a way that is crunchy, firm, and not overly thick. However, the jalapeño itself is not cut up, so unless you want to eat the 'egg' in one bite, you will have problems getting jalapeño in every bite since it cannot be easily split into more pieces beyond halves. Additionally, it is only one of these eggs per order (which we split among two people), and it costs $6.99! Unless those jalapeños were magical and will endow me with superpowers tomorrow (which I will report on if it happens), that was way overpriced; they should not have been more than half of that price and with double the number of 'eggs.' Also, if you are a young adult (below 25), you will probably not think that one half is enough of an appetizer, as was suggested to us. I could have eaten three and still polished off my meal. Service: service was nice and relatively fast, save for us watching our armadillo eggs sit on the counter for a little while, but we were also there around 3:30, so it was not a particularly busy time either. Food comes out at the same time, and water refills are regular. TLDR: not bad for Winslow, or for most of NE Arizona in general (excepting Flagstaff). Food is solid, nothing too remarkable, and slightly overpriced. Perhaps go with the burgers. read more

Decided on this place based on the reviews. Good location, decent selection of local beers but don't let the name of the place fool you...they are not a brewery unfortunately. Warm welcome but very long wait for food. While ordering the fish tacos, it was specifically asked if there was an pico or vegetables otherwise beside the coleslaw and was told, "no, none". When they came out they had pico on all four but going with the flow, it was picked off. Finally got to the last taco and it was, "open face" style (see pic) for some reason. The tacos had already been over handled so why not build a taco as well? The, "Relic tacos" were ordered as well and were basically salisbury steak with toppings and was not good. Required lots of salsa. The lobster Mac and cheese was mediocre at best as it was barely sauced though there was a decent amount of lobster pieces. At least the beer was cold. Won't be coming back and will not be suggesting to any friends or family local or abroad. Head up the road to Grand Canyon Brewing. They have amazing food and actually brew their own beer and spirits. read more

My neighbor found this place on line, looking for a place with a Bloody Mary with a cheeseburger on top. We were on our way back to southern Arizona and decided to stop and check it out. We had breakfast before leaving Flagstaff and stopped by the Meteor Crater for a while. When we got to Winslow, the wife had to take pictures of "Standing on the Corner". I found out Relic Rd. is just west of SOTC, so we stopped. I ordered the Bloody Mary right away, and I was glad that I did. I didn't realize it was going to come with 2 Cheeseburger sliders on it an 3 hot wings. The jar was approximately 26 ounces and it took me a while to finish the drink. The price was only $11.99 We had our dogs with us, so we had to sit outside and the flies found us right away as soon as my drink arrived. When we finished the food on/in my drink we put the plate on the next table and most of the flies moved. Great Bargain. read more

I would give negative if could. Walked in stood at front door three waitresses standing there no one would help. Finally got seated and was told she bringing over menus wanted to get drinks was told waitress would be right over. Sat there 15 minutes said twice would be over while three others stood there talking. We asked again if we could get help and again was told in minute. I went to bathroom came back and still no drinks asked wife if any body stop was told no. Then waitress went out side to assist table that just sat down. We stood up and asked again if we could get some help we were ready to order and was ignored by all three standing in corner talking so we got up and left good thing not ever coming back. If you are standing on a corner in Winslow, Arizona and you don't stop for lunch at Relic Road Brewing, Jackson Browne and The Eagles would never forgive you. The food here is great: quick, hot and tasty. The tap list is impressive for a small town in a rural area and they have a variety of types of beers from Arizona breweries to pair with your meal. For me, this place is a reason to come to Winslow! The only heads up I will give is that at the time of this review, they were not actually brewing any of their own beers so the name might be slightly misleading. That being said, with the number of beers they offer, I wasn't disappointed in the least. read more
