Service was terrible. There was barely anyone in the restaurant either. I saw one table send back a raw burger. PROS: The blue cheese for the wings was very good. Nice chunks of blue cheese in there. Nice atmosphere. CONS: The food wasn't very good overall. Waited to be seated, in an empty restaurant. 15 minutes to get ice water or even someone to acknowledge our presence once seated. OVERALL: You can walk to at least 5 nearby restaurants. Do that instead.

    Fried "pickles"

I was excited about trying out Relish - it would have been great to have a good burger joint in the area. Sadly, I left very disappointed. I had the Watch City Burger and fried pickles. First off, I ordered a Diet Coke, which was 100% flat. Sent it back and didn't ask for another. The fried pickles were extremely thin slices of battered pickle. Since they were so thin, they barely had any pickle flavor. They may as well have just served fried, salty batter. The remoulade had almost no flavor and tasted like straight-up mayonnaise. Skip the fried pickles. The Watch City Burger is their signature, expensive burger. It was... average. Aside from the bacon, blue cheese, and meat, the rest of the ingredient flavors (onion rings, fried eggs, & mushrooms) just blended together into a mish-mosh of nothing special. The bacon was tasty. The meat itself was quite good. The fried egg by itself was also pretty good. The burger came with a side of fries. It came in one of those cute, small frying baskets, which are typically full of fries. Instead of filling the basket, they laid most of the fries over the top, leaving the basket itself mostly empty. Lame. The fries were so-so. Not bad, not great. Finally, this signature burger also came with a root beer float. As a soda guy, I was looking forward to this. I don't know how, but they screwed up the float. It just tasted... off. I asked the waitress if it was made with an alcoholic root beer, and she said it wasn't. But I'm almost positive it was, at least it tasted that way. I only had a couple of sips. TL;DR: skip Relish. Go to Five Guys instead.

The Relish Burger Bistro is a classy-looking restaurant with comfortable chairs in an elegant atmosphere. I quickly got the vibe that My lunch would be overly priced based on the ambiance; it was not. The menu looked intriguing with interesting combinations for meals. I ordered the veggie burger. It was a spicy black bean and quinoa burger with pepper jack cheese, poco de gallo, avocado and roasted poblano crèma. Instead of French fries, I opted for the Parmesan Tater Tots. When I received my meal, I looked at the tater tots and then tasted them. It tasted like a regular tot. Where's the Parmesan? My veggie burger looked too big for me to consume in one sitting. The poco de gallo and avocado were a treat for me, but the burger itself didn't have any exciting flavor to it. The buns were smaller than the veggie burger itself. I had to use a fork to eat it. So, while the establishment appeared intriguing, it's not worth a second glance. Note to self: read yelp reviews before entering blindly next time.

I came here because I saw a few pictures of the food posted on phantom gourmet's Instagram. I was really intrigued by the Totchos (tots & nachos my two favorite things) Relish is located inside the best western hotel, parking is limited. There is only one small garage located for the hotel guest and restaurant goers. There was also a valet option but I only saw that as I walked in so I have no details. The restaurant was big, lots of seating and a full bar with seating. The hours are a little confusing. I didn't think of looking to see what time they opened before arriving (430). The doors to the restaurant were locked then after checking online they don't open till 7. I guess there was an option of sitting at the bar and eating but I just ended up waiting till 7 and coming back. To eat I got the totchos as an app since they were the reason I came and they completely exceeded my expectations. They were delicious!!! Crispy tots topped with cheese chili and a little bit of salsa. They are my new obsession. BUT they serving size was small, I spit this with one other person and it was the perfect amount for the two of us. If there are more then two if your party I suggest ordering two or two apps. There were lots of burger options, speciality and create your own. I loved that they had the option of a lettuce wrap to substitute for the bun as well as a veggie burger option. I'm a huge fan of Veggie burgers and this one sounded amazing but I went with the beef burger instead. The create your own had so many options. Loved it. Great burgers and GREAT GREAT tot options.

Seriously how are the ratings so low? I had an amazing experience. The service was friendly and fast thanks to Ed. I also had the salmon succotash which was so delicious and if you are on weight watchers it's like 2 points which leaves more room for their awesome wine. :).

Very clean restaurant. Friendly attentive staff. The Bison burger was excellent and the fries were nice and crispy!

Very sad restaurant and I was the only customer.

It's good food, nice people, just priced too high for my personal liking. Small fancy portions if that's your thing

Somewhere between okay and good…read more Seating was a breeze when we arrived for our 6pm Friday reservation, and we got a booth, always my preference. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I ordered an Old-Fashioned and my companion a glass of chardonnay, both of which came promptly and were enjoyable. After some inquiries I settled on the self-advertised fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs. My companion asked about a favorite no longer on the menu, a salad with grilled chicken, and after checking with the kitchen our server was happy to report it could be ordered. My companion asked for dressing on the side and unfortunatel the salad came out dressed. Our server was happy to return it to the kitchen and it came out after not too much time had elapsed, the way she'd ordered it. I'm always skeptical that ribs will be fall-off-the-bone but these were close. Unfortunately, they seemed a little off; I still can't decide if they were on the dry side, lacking in flavor, or both. But the meat did come off the bone easily, so there was that. They came with french fries which were good, The location is handy and there is on-site parking. The atmosphere was energetic and it must be a popular after-work place because there were several large (10+) tables occupied. Still, not sure I would go back soon when there are other comparable places in the area.

I found The Local Kitchen while searching Yelp for a restaurant in Waltham near I-95. It had a…read more3.4-star rating, but some of the reviews were positive and the location was convenient, so I decided to give it a try. We were asked whether we preferred a table or a booth, which I always appreciate, and we chose the latter. My first impression was that the open dining room was very loud. The noise was amplified by a party of about 10 people to our left and the ambient bar and TV noise to our right. Our friendly waiter arrived immediately, as did water and menus. Service started off nicely and remained good throughout our lunch. I wish I could say the same for the food. I was considering the Salmon Poke Bowl, but our waiter explained that the salmon wasn't served sushi-style, so we both ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl ($23.95). The bowls arrived in about 15 minutes, with the wasabi dressing on the side as requested, although technically the cup was placed inside the bowl. The portion was substantial and included seaweed salad, some avocado and a generous amount of grain. Unfortunately, the tuna had a noticeably fishy taste and an unappealing texture. Very disappointing. I left much of it untouched, along with quite a few of the other ingredients. When our waiter asked whether I wanted to take the remainder home, my answer was definitely no. Would I return? Probably not. I'd be more inclined to try some of the other restaurants in the area in search of better-executed cuisine.
