I've been dining at Renée's for years. She's in my 'hood! Always outstanding service and food. Such a gem in the Tucson community. I finally tried a couple of new things this visit, exceeding my expectations once again. The Oh Honey! Board was over-the-top delicious. Noel Patterson's Dos Manos Apiaries honey, goat cheese, pistachios, with freshly baked garlic focaccia. For such a simple array of ingredients, my dining partner and I were highly impressed with the wonderful flavors this combination delivered. I always order the Jamie's Salad. Black bean hummus under a layer of fresh spinach greens, topped with salsa and a half sliced avocado. No dressing needed. I also ordered Sonoran Meatballs in Jalapeño Cream for the first time. The white cream sauce is delicate, not spicy but rich, and the meatballs (6) were tender and perfect. My friend ordered the Chopped Chicken and Cashew Salad. The dressing was light, fragrant, and the fresh arugula was dressed to perfection. Renée even brought fresh pepper and salt mills to the table. I love freshly ground pepper on everything. Dessert was totally unexpected. An entire Chocolate cake enough for three people. Most would say enough for four, but I have an incredible appetite. One of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had. What an adorable and quaint little restaurant! I guess it's been there a while, but it was my first discovery and I was extremely pleased. The wait staff and host esses were very friendly. They are so busy that you need a reservation so I sat at a tiny 2 top table in entryway as all the other tables were taken. I enjoyed the absolutely most delicious Greek salad. I think I have ever had. It was generous and absolutely delicious. I added Focaccia bread as a side and they serve it with a delicious I think, honey butter, which was also very good. For my drink, I chose the apricot tea which was extraordinary. I can't wait to go back and bring a friend because I'm so excited to find this wonderful little restaurant. We were so lucky to have found this little gem for lunch yesterday! I had the cheese ravioli (upgraded the marinara with spinach and garlic). The ravioli was perfectly cooked and sooooo yummy! The sauce was amazing - so fresh and full of flavor. My hubby enjoyed his vegan pesto pasta, as well. We were lucky to get a table as almost all of the remaining tables were reserved. It's not a huge restaurant so there is limited seating - basically av line of booths so dining feels very private. I definitely recommend reservations as it would be a shame to miss out on a fantastic meal because the tables are full. read more

It's easy to see how this place has so many five star reviews. It's a quaint little establishment that serves need to order organic local sourced magic. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Each dish appears to be freshly made to order in the establishment strives to use organic and local ingredients when it all possible. The lasagna takes almost 30 minutes as it's individually prepared for each order. When we arrived this evening, in the middle of a storm, we were asked if we wanted to still it outside...ahhh, no. They tried to seat us at what looked like a waiting table in the lobby. I have eaten at Renee's Organic Oven more than any other restaurant in Tucson. They have great options for vegetarians with protein add-one for those who wish. From pasta to pizza to salads you can't go wrong. The chocolate cake is an amazing after dinner treat. Renee's is also on DoorDash. Chocolate cake delivered? Yes please! The only down side is that it does get quite noisy. The space is rather small and the acoustics are meant for amplification. Make a reservation just to be safe if you're going during a busy time. Awesome organic Italian restaurant in Tucson. Found this place on Yelp (of course) when we were in town on family business. My mom and I loved our food and food everything tasted fresh, flavorful and delicious! I was starving so I ordered the Caprese Board for the table and I am officially obsessed with their house baked bread! I got the Penne Pesto which tasted great and was chock full of kalamata olives and feta cheese. My mom opted for the Chicken Sandwich off the lunch menu which she enjoyed and was a generous portion! We were last at this restaurant four months ago so I don't remember everything as clearly but this is a sweet little restaurant and deserves a good review. They have an outdoor area under a covered patio which is nice and then they have three tables indoors in a very small but cozy area. My husband and I ate there twice about 4 months ago. We really enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The red wine I had was very good. If I remember correctly, you must make a reservation online. It makes sense to me since they are so small. Anyway, one thing I will never forget is their fettuccini Alfredo! The best ever! It was so good, I had to go back and have it again. Revisit so glad we did! A lot has changed in 4 years. Now a intimate seating that provides a slower paced experience. Excellent service as seating is limited (reservations) one table for walk in which we luckily snagged! We enjoyed ( devoured) the spinach and artichoke dip and splurged on a full bottle of wine. The food was just okay for the dollars spent. It seemed like it wanted to be a pizza restaurant, but as an afterthought, through in some dishes that were just mediocre. The Caesar salad had a bitter aftertaste; maybe lemon juice or something else acidic. Frankly, disappointing. The tomato soup was actually pretty good. The chicken with sun-dried tomato cream sauce was a hit with one of the diners, The pizza was just a c+ or a b-. Our waiter was amazing, really help our decision in what I could order and make vegan. I had the spaghetti and it was good, not the best but certainly not the worse I have had. I did find it a bit ridiculous that they charge an extra 3 bucks for the Daiya cheese when it comes with mozzarella cheese and I was asking to substitute it. They do have it on the menu that it's 3 bucks but I thought it would be for the pizza. Also the amount the lay on the pasta is not worth 3 bucks. The bread was amazing and honestly what won me over was the vegan cinnamon rolls, they were absolutely amazing. I could go back just for that. Pizza is good. The lasagna has way too much oregano. I think they use Sicilian oregano which has a sharper and more pungent flavor. The lasagna needs some basil. This place is a perfect little cozy secret. Make sure to make a reservation and go hungry because you are going to want to try everything and it's SO good. My wife and I had not been to Renee's since last year. We were waited on by Brenda, who did a wonderful job taking our drink order (Desert Dweller w/Tito's-delish, and the Old Fashioned-equally done well) along with an appetizer order of the Caprese board. The Caprese was terrific and was served with warm focaccia bread, balsamic, and olive oil. We then ordered our main course opting for the Pesto and Papas Con Queso pizzas. Both pizzas were terrific with an outstanding crust. Brenda checked back with us frequently to ensure that all was well. We finished off our dinner by ordering our typical dessert of the flourless chocolate cake with cinnamon whipped cream. Well, it did not disappoint! This is probably my favorite restaurant in Tucson. My mom is on a strict diet after being in the hospital and I'm an idiot and forgot my wallet but was able to place an order on ubereats. Steven was at the front and was so patient and helpful so I didn't have to go back home and be delayed an hour. The pizza is amazing, even the gluten free I would eat, though I prefer more glutinous offerings. We get the gluten-free pizza there and it's very good. The place is pretty small so expect a little coziness which isn't all bad.

Can only speak to takeout options because we have little ones to chase around but after moving to the Northeast side, this has become one of our go-to places to order from. The takeout boxes make it easy to order (we have ordered the Comfort and Food Network boxes several times), and everything has always been great. We usually add on the delicious Sausage & Peppers pizza. The salads have also been excellent - love the Mediterranean and Apple, Walnuts & Goat Cheese. Always a solid experience! read more
