It's easy to see how this place has so many five star reviews. It's a quaint little establishment that serves need to order organic local sourced magic. Staff was absolutely wonderful. Each dish appears to be freshly made to order in the establishment strives to use organic and local ingredients when it all possible. The lasagna takes almost 30 minutes as it's individually prepared for each order. We came to Renee's for dinner. Ordered Veggie lasagna and zucchini noodle Primavera. Both dishewere out of this world. Extremely delicious. To make it better, we sat outside and the weather perfect! The food and service were amazing. This place is very small, so I wouldn't recommend going without a reservation, but I strongly recommend that you make a reservation and go! We tried a couple of the pizzas, a couple of the pastas and several of the appetizers and there was nothing that I wouldn't call delicious. And the staff was great! Apparently Renee's doesn't know how the reservation app (Open Table) works. We made a reservation for INDOOR seating. When we arrived this evening, in the middle of a storm, we were asked if we wanted to still it outside...ahhh, no. They tried to seat us at what looked like a waiting table in the lobby. The food was just okay for the dollars spent. It seemed like it wanted to be a pizza restaurant, but as an afterthought, through in some dishes that were just mediocre. The Caesar salad had a bitter aftertaste; maybe lemon juice or something else acidic. Frankly, disappointing. The tomato soup was actually pretty good. The chicken with sun-dried tomato cream sauce was a hit with one of the diners, The pizza was just a c+ or a b-. Me and friends didn't appreciate the signage saying no children allowed inside, as well as, no high chairs. Overall expensive and no wow factor. However, it appeared busy with lots of adults. I have eaten at Renee's Organic Oven more than any other restaurant in Tucson. They have great options for vegetarians with protein add-one for those who wish. From pasta to pizza to salads you can't go wrong. The chocolate cake is an amazing after dinner treat. Renee's is also on DoorDash. Chocolate cake delivered? Yes please! The only down side is that it does get quite noisy. The space is rather small and the acoustics are meant for amplification. Make a reservation just to be safe if you're going during a busy time. Awesome organic Italian restaurant in Tucson. Found this place on Yelp (of course) when we were in town on family business. My mom and I loved our food and food everything tasted fresh, flavorful and delicious! I was starving so I ordered the Caprese Board for the table and I am officially obsessed with their house baked bread! I got the Penne Pesto which tasted great and was chock full of kalamata olives and feta cheese. My mom opted for the Chicken Sandwich off the lunch menu which she enjoyed and was a generous portion! I was visiting family and we were looking for a restaurant with both vegan and gluten free options. Renee's came through in spades! The food was delicious and there were ideal options for those who needed it. The portions were good and they even had excellent desserts! We were last at this restaurant four months ago so I don't remember everything as clearly but this is a sweet little restaurant and deserves a good review. They have an outdoor area under a covered patio which is nice and then they have three tables indoors in a very small but cozy area. My husband and I ate there twice about 4 months ago. We really enjoyed ourselves. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The red wine I had was very good. If I remember correctly, you must make a reservation online. It makes sense to me since they are so small. Anyway, one thing I will never forget is their fettuccini Alfredo! The best ever! It was so good, I had to go back and have it again. Revisit so glad we did! A lot has changed in 4 years. Now a intimate seating that provides a slower paced experience. Excellent service as seating is limited (reservations) one table for walk in which we luckily snagged! We enjoyed ( devoured) the spinach and artichoke dip and splurged on a full bottle of wine. Pizza is good. The lasagna has way too much oregano. I think they use Sicilian oregano which has a sharper and more pungent flavor. The lasagna needs some basil. Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken was good. Raviolis are good but need more sauce. Added chicken but there was barely any chicken. Same with fettuccine. read more

So they are extremely busy so plan on waiting. We decided to sit outside because there was a table that was open. Our waiter was amazing, really help our decision in what I could order and make vegan. I had the spaghetti and it was good, not the best but certainly not the worse I have had. I did find it a bit ridiculous that they charge an extra 3 bucks for the Daiya cheese when it comes with mozzarella cheese and I was asking to substitute it. They do have it on the menu that it's 3 bucks but I thought it would be for the pizza. Also the amount the lay on the pasta is not worth 3 bucks. The bread was amazing and honestly what won me over was the vegan cinnamon rolls, they were absolutely amazing. I could go back just for that. Truly comparable to dinners we experienced in Italy. Try the Arriabata, the meatballs with jalapeño cream sauce, the pizza, the specialty sandwich and the garlic knots. My wife and I had not been to Renee's since last year. We were waited on by Brenda, who did a wonderful job taking our drink order (Desert Dweller w/Tito's-delish, and the Old Fashioned-equally done well) along with an appetizer order of the Caprese board. The Caprese was terrific and was served with warm focaccia bread, balsamic, and olive oil. We then ordered our main course opting for the Pesto and Papas Con Queso pizzas. Both pizzas were terrific with an outstanding crust. Brenda checked back with us frequently to ensure that all was well. We finished off our dinner by ordering our typical dessert of the flourless chocolate cake with cinnamon whipped cream. Well, it did not disappoint! This is probably my favorite restaurant in Tucson. My mom is on a strict diet after being in the hospital and I'm an idiot and forgot my wallet but was able to place an order on ubereats. Steven was at the front and was so patient and helpful so I didn't have to go back home and be delayed an hour. The pizza is amazing, even the gluten free I would eat, though I prefer more glutinous offerings. Can only speak to takeout options because we have little ones to chase around but after moving to the Northeast side, this has become one of our go-to places to order from. The takeout boxes make it easy to order (we have ordered the Comfort and Food Network boxes several times), and everything has always been great. Took the family to Renee's for lunch on a day trip. Picked Renee's because one of our party has celiac's disease and the establishment had many Gluten-free options available. GF Penne Pesto and GF Bread were delicious as well as the regular Alfredo and other dishes we ate. Service was attentive, friendly, and very accommodating. The server knew and understood the ingredients in their dishes! Restaurant was clean and decorated nicely. If I had to levy any complaint I would ask they dress the salad before plating in the small bowl that came with my sandwich.
