Even though he had a very busy day, he squeezed our appointment in. He was very courteous in his communication and messaged his eta, which was very useful, so I did not have to just sit and wait. DO NOT USE!!! RED FLAG!!!! ALEX WILL GHOST YOU!!!!! My experience with Alex from Repix is horribly disastrous, I would HATE for anyone else to go through what I had gone through. PLEASE READ ON AND SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! My office has this Jura branded automatic coffee machine that was loved by all. It makes fantastic, rich espresso coffee drinks. This machine had a loose part where the coffee comes out of. It was my job to get it fixed. I was still new to my position at work and didn't know where the machine was originally bought from. So I did my usual yelp search with the filter showing 4+ stars first for vendors that can fix small appliances. After making multiple phone calls, I received a call back right away from Alex saying he can come in person and is able to fix it the day of. That was on 9/20/2022. This is where it gets bad. He arrived 1 hour late. He ended up needing to take the machine home to dismantle and replace the loose part. He provided a legitimate invoice for me before heading off. He even left some parts of the machine and only took with him the center part that needed to be fixed. After series of my emails and text messages, it felt like I was speaking to no one. He never responds my calls or texts whatsoever. He would call me hours later, out of the blue, and provide some "reason" on the delay of returning our coffee machine. I was super polite with him on the phone, and he sounded very sincerely apologetic. I made sure he understood that our office needed this machine back whether or not it is fixed. Too much time has passed and he provided little to no updates on progress. After he told me that he would bring our machine back in a two-hour time frame between 10am-12pm, only to not show up and then never responding me and blocking my number one month in, I then realized I have been scammed. This is a really expensive coffee machine, not in the hundreds but in the THOUSANDS range. It is NOT ok to take the machine home to say you will fix it only to ghost me in the end and not completing the work or even just returning the machine if you can't fix it. The scary part is the only legitimate thing about this vendor, Repix, is this yelp page. Their website is inactive and the address on the invoice isn't even a business. It is a residential apartment building... my colleagues went and actually knocked but no one was home and it didn't look like anyone was home much. And the neighbor told them that she rarely saw anyone living there... This has taken so much of my time already and I unfortunately am not expecting to ever see this coffee machine again. But I wanted to make sure I wrote this review for everyone so that the same thing does not happen to you. read more

We called to have them look at it again and they said it wasn't under their warranty of 9 months. It is a rip off. I don't post too often, but I was really impressed with Alexey. He was upfront about the cost, on time, very patiently listened to me share the problem (We had a 2 year old, and sadly 3 days out of warranty washing machine -- Shame on you Costco, but that's another story). Washer was leaking, but only intermittently - Per the internet, this could be anything off the inlet, the drum, the drain pump or the pipes and I was worried I was looking at an endless trial and error cycle. Alexey took his time to investigate, and found the issue. He could have easily overcharged and replaced unnecessary parts, but he found that all that was, was a rag had got stuck in the bleach dispenser inlet. Very patient, knowledgeable and honest. My old counter depth fridge stopped cooling. Fridges can be tricky and they gave me clear options. Option 1 fast but might not hold and option 2 full leak check and repair. I chose the cheaper fast version. Fridge held for 2 weeks then failed. So we then moved to option 2 full repair. But at the first visit they told me they would credit 100% of option 1 to the full repair. This kind of repair pricing is rare these days. So they came back and did a full leak check (there were multiple leaks). I highly recommend them. read more

I was able to get an appointment with Repix about a week after connecting with them. Most appliance repair companies I reached out to does not offer service to Thermador coffee machines but Repix was able to come and take a look. The owner came out on time, diagnosed the problem, explained the possible outcomes, serviced and cleaned my clogged coffee machine on the same visit and the machine was fixed right on the spot. Had an issue with my rangehood fan, reached out to another repair service that had an $85 diagnostics fee. The guy came, flipped the switch around and said I had to replace the switch and circuit board. He left and I found out that the light for the rangehood stopped working as well. I wanted to get a second opinion so I called Repix and got connected with Alex as a technician. He came in and was much more thorough in his investigation, testing the fuse and electrical connectivity. His quote for the replacement parts was lower as well and the diagnostic fee was $35. He went ahead and ordered the parts and returned a week later to install and finish the repairs. Overall a very professional and good value service.
