I had a bad day earlier this week. I had just completed a CostCo run to stock up on groceries, only to come home to find my GE refrigerator dead. Alex was a lucky find. He came out quickly and diagnosed a key problem with the refrigerator; a blown main control board. Because my refrigerator is quite old, Alex didn't have the part on hand. Instead, he placed an expedited special order for it on the spot. He clearly explained that there also could be secondary problems, masked by the blown control board. We agreed though that it made sense and would save me money by replacing the control board first and then evaluating next steps. Luckily that was all that was needed to get my refrigerator back and up and running. Hurray! With the back of the refrigerator open, Alex took care to clean the condenser coils and other interior spaces to help keep it operating efficiently. My refrigerator now runs more quietly than I ever remember! While here, Alex also checked my Whirlpool clothes washing machine and cleaned out the accumulated gunk in the drain line that prevented it from draining properly and operating efficiently. Both my refrigerator and washer are old machines and now working like new. For both, Alex offered helpful, expert maintenance tips and advice, should I ever need to replace them. They came for inspecting my dishwasher, the technician didn't even touch the dishwasher and claimed he understand what the problem is. He took the inspection amount. Nd said he needs to check for parts and the job will cost 450$ . I told him to givd me a call after he checks for parts, but he didn't. Upon further following up, he blamed me that i didn't confirm. He then said parts sill take 2-4 days. Total waste of 4-5 days. Meanwhile i contacted another technician who fixed the dishwasher in 200$, within 2 hrs. Simple clog was the issue. Our 2 year old oven quit on us and we called Alex to come over and inspect the issue. My mother had a fridge that was leaking water from the bottom freezer. I called Alex and he came out and diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain tube. He took apart the freezer and fixed the clog as well as the freezer drawer that was wonky. His price was as he stated no extra parts were needed and the problem was solved. My fridge's evaporation fan started humming very loudly for a few days so I I called Alex. He's responsive and despite a rescheduling he came to check it out. When he knocked I said he right there and opened my front door for himself and walked in without permission. During the investigation, he was pretty rough when attempting to removing the evaporate cover assembly. There was ice so it was hard but he gouged a hole in the insulation foam behind the cover and was using a plastic panel to support his elbow when removing the assembly which got bent a bit due to this. Having failed to remove the panel, he said without knowing the exact problem that the cover assembly must be replaced and the part will be 350 and total with labor would be 550. I looked up the part myself online and it is selling for 220 on the official parts website. I later fixed the fridge myself by simply letting the fridge defrost and was able to remove the cover assembly and then remove the ice behind the cover. I cleared out all the ice and put everything back together and it's working great now. Will not trust Alex to diagnose any problem because he wants to replace everything and make labor money. I am out 85 dollars with more damage to my fridge than I started with. read more

One day our drier stopped heating up. We called Alex at 9am and had our drier fixed by 1pm; by the way, this was on a Saturday.
