Came by with my family. I was recommended to come here and I must say it was amazing. Chips were warm and fresh along with the great salsa roja with a pineapple water to drink. Customer service was excellent. Food was as expected and delicious. I will say come only if you're really hungry. The plates are huge and large portions. Prices are definitely worth it. I now recommend this place to you!

We wanted to eat after visiting the stockyards but did not want to deal with the throngs of people so we ventured just a few blocks away and found this place which was not crowded at all. The ambience reminded me of a restaurant in Mexico, right down to the menus with peeling plastic and updated prices taped on. There is a good variety of dishes to choose from, with a nice representation of genuine Mexican food that real Mexicans eat. We, however, opted for Tex-Mex. The margaritas are made with an artificial juice instead of real limes, so we've been spoiled by Marianos. The wife ordered the enchiladas and they were good but not fantastic. She got ground beef inside, one with salsa verde and one with sour cream sauce for $8.99. My chicken fajita nachos likewise were good but the meat was not cooked over flame so it lacked that smoky goodness. Still, they were good nachos that came with guac, sour cream, jalapeños, pico, tomato slice, and a slice of onion. I could not eat them all--8 to an order for $11.49. Our server was friendly and helpful, no complaints. The parking lot, such as it is, is very small so it is best to do street parking. Overall, it was a good experience but does not compare to our all-time favorite, Marianos in Dallas.

My goodness gracious! The chips are crispy and warm, salsa perfect and spicy. Beer ICE COLD!!!!! So cold that there's a layer of thin ice. Ask for it salted and it comes in a frozen mug. Spinach enchiladas were phenomenal with the yummy sour cream sauce and my husbands steak tacos were the best he ever had. AWESOME!!!!!

Great spot! So much liveliness and fun happening. The live music was a treat. The food was fresh, tasteful, largely portioned and the service was quick and attentive. COVID regulations were being followed and everyone was friendly.

Best hole in the wall Mexican you can find!! Everything they have in here are EXCELLENT and DELICIOUS and super cheap!! It's like eating grandma food seriously!! Service is awesome, they didn't speak much English but just point lol Cz who doesn't know Enchilladas and fajitas right? :) love this place, if you have never eaten here come and try it!!!

This place is amazing! There is nothing fancy about it, but it lacks nothing. First off, we were warmly greeted when we walked in. The staff was pleasant and nice the entire time. The chips and salsa were solid. They weren't the best I've ever had but would be happy in any mex restaurant to get them. I had the torta. It was honestly a top 5 sandwich ever for me and that's saying something. It had so many different kinds of meat in it. It walked right up to the edge of being too much but everything complimented each other. The bonus was this thing was humongous. I am a big eater and ate half. My wife had the chicken chimichanga. This is her standard go to fare in Mexican restaurants. She said this was hands down the best one she's ever had. She was sad she could only eat half. All in all probably the best Mexican restaurant experience I've had in 10 years in Texas. I know that's saying a lot, but try it before judging that statement.

The amount of salsa I was "allowed" to have. And to share between 3 people.

Food is amazing! I do recommend coming here but the servers (the women) are absolutely RUDE. And that's the only reason I'm giving 1 star. They give you attitude for asking simple questions and I asked for extra salsa and was told "I'll bring you more when you finish what I gave you". Obviously I know how much salsa I want and I am paying for it. There's no reason someones arguing with me over that! The food is amazing although now I feel uncomfortable eating here because of their attitude and stares. The male waiters are AMAZING I recommend requesting them. Just don't ask for more salsa LOL!

What is not to love? As we're celebrating our 55th anniversary this month we were presented with a lovely, complementary sparkly rose. As today is Cinco de Mayo a Margarita was in order and the house pour was lovely. We shared a bottle of California Sauvignon Blanc to accompany the Ceviche Tatemado followed by the Tacos de Barbacoa which is the Tuesday lunch special. Both the ceviche and barbacoa tacos were just so enjoyable. The striped bass and octopus ceviche here is a unique preparation that sings in the tangy lime and Serrano vinaigrette in which it is prepared. The barbacoa is so flavorful and tender; and the thin, house made flour tortilla is fried crispy on the flat top before being filled. So good.

Servers provided a great experience aside from a bunch of flies (ate outside on the patio and were waving at flys most of the night). Three stars for the prices. We are an entirely vegetarian meal with no alcohol and paid $400 for a party of six...and we were sharing (yes, you read that correctly). $13 for a side of Mexican rice. $18 for essentially a side mashed potatoes. $16 for grilled vegetables. And the portions were SMALL. We were sharing across four adults and three kids and everyone only ended up getting a tiny amount. It was really difficult believing we were receiving any real value...it felt like the Don and figured out how to have unsuspecting guests pay double! It to say this isn't a legit high-end Mexican restaurant, it is. But I would more realistically describe it as a high-end steak house with wrap-around Mexican dishes (which explains why the side prices were so extreme). Kids quesadillas with steak were $17 a piece with no sides other than potato chips (a little odd given the context). Anyway, I'll end it where I began...food was good, servers were great...but just not worth the price. If the bill had been half or the portions were larger, it would have felt like we were actually getting value for our money.

I ordered take out and sat at the bar while I waited for my entree.Ordered two drinks while I waited, got the one at the top of the menu and a skinny margarita and they tasted exactly the same ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ they got the job done and were fine. Food: I got the enchiladas three ways with steak. You can take the regular three sauces or choose just one if you'd like. Green sauce is the best, white sauce is pretty good, and the red mole is fine but I wish I would have swapped it out with the spicy almost (orange) sauce that comes with the seafood enchiladas. That sauce looks so good! My partner did not like the red sauce at all, again I thought it was fine just not amazing like the other two. Beans and rice are good, nothing special. Nothing wrong with the chips and salsa just run of the mill. Other thoughts: I wish I had just ate my food at the bar instead of ordering take out. Bar seats are comfortable, views of a tv for anyone sitting at the bar, and it's just a nice comfortable atmosphere in there. The hostess and bar tenders I interacted with provided great service.

They're your typical trendy taco place, with their own selection of merchandise and crazy/cheesy jokes strewn about on t-shirts and signage. They have an ample bar space, but it looked like only one patron was interested in that; the rest of us were there to eat. You order your food at the counter and get a buzzer to come back and pick it up. The staff is friendly enough, but you don't really interact with them much since it's all pretty much self service after you go to the counter. The drink station has cane sugar based sodas; it's a bit heavy on the foam, but otherwise good. We opted for the birria pizza, a couple of cups of pozole, and a side of elote. Everything was solid. The elote was good, not great, but the pozole really hit the spot given how cold it was outside. The birria pizza is what blew me away, though. This was easily one of the most unique, but tasty, things I've ever had. It's not really a pizza, more like a topped quesadilla, but they did a great job of it. I'd not only come back here next time I'm in Fort Worth, I'd be interested in opening a location in Houston if I had the money to franchise it.
