I came on a rainy Tuesday evening. I was seated in a quaint corner next to the bar as I was dining alone. Upon being seated, right away I really enjoyed the tall stool. It had a low back and soft cushion so it was very comfortable for me as a tall person. When I came in around 5:25 pm, it was quiet but by an hour later everyone must have gotten off work and the bar top was packed. My waitress was Lucy. She was soft spoken and nice. For my cocktail, I went with the Blackberry Breeze. Super delicious. Couldn't really taste the St Germaine but the blackberry was prominent along with the vodka. I felt the burn immediately upon the first drink. I loved it. I had been to another Reunion location but was excited to try another entree. I was torn between five items. After talking it over with Lucy, I went with her recommendation and ended up selecting the Chicken Pot Pie. It had mushrooms at the very top which Lucy told me about. I love mushrooms so I think this is what tipped me over to get this. The first nibble I could really taste the mushroom flavor. It was incredible. The sauce was thick and rich similar to a gravy. It was hotter than sh1t so be careful. Even after blowing on it, it was still piping hot and I burned my tongue. The chicken is in bite size pieces making it easy to scarf down. The crust is flaky on top and soft and mushy on the bottom just how I like it. I think my only critique is that it could have used some more veggies inside. I could see eating the sauce over some fries similar to poutine without the cheese curds. The portion was a good size. Probably the best pot pie I have ever had. The roasted vegetables on the side were cold. But I dipped them into the pot pie sauce and the problem was solved. I was so happy to see that the daily soup was French onion. It was fantastic. The broth was rich and flavorful. The pull from the cheese was perfect. So great on a cold and rainy night. I could probably eat it daily during the winter. The warm towels that are brought to your table at the end of your meal is a very nice touch. The music in the background was lower tempo alternative and pop. Loud enough that you could sway to it but not too loud that you couldn't hear the person talking to you. If this place was in San Diego, I would probably eat there weekly. read more

Much needed follow update on the experiences here - this is a phenomenal spot that i'm grateful to have so close to home. It's become an essential spot to bring friends to impress at a reasonable budget! Food (5/5) - At this point we've tasted a decent amount of the menu, and while there are some absolute favorites I will say the quality and flavors around the menu always a hit. (A+ prime rib dip for example) The cocktails are made well, great happy hour options, and the menu is very expansive for everyone to enjoy. Service (5/5) - The service here has been top notch for us. I love Reunion Kitchen in Anaheim and I've been going since they opened in 2013. This location has great food and amazing service. I keep hoping that the Corona location will improve but unfortunately it never does. There is high turnover over, poor management lousy service and inconsistent food. Came here for Mother's Day Saturday with no reservation. Wait time was about 1-1.5 hours which was expected. Got seated outside and it's very nice views outside. Our server was good, understood it was busy so we had to ask for water refills a couple times. Our food options were all great. Towards the end of the meal they turned on that mist outside that is turned on when it gets hot out and so it was pretty strong to the point where it feels like it was going on our food. I should've asked if they could turn it off, it wasn't hot maybe 74. One thing I noticed here that I also noticed at the reunion kitchen in brea, was we got 5 entrees with fries and not 1 ketchup was accompanied with it. We asked for ketchup and they brought out 3 so we were sharing it. At brea location similar thing happened with no ketchup for their tots for brunch. We arrived at 3:50pm with a group of 7, there were three young women working the host desk. 2 of them informed me that they couldn't take our party inside because they had reservations arriving at 5:30 but we could sit outside. It was 90f outside and we had 2 toddlers so I declined and asked again if we could be sat inside. I looked at the dining room and it was empty. They informed me they could sit us in a small booth but they would come out to our table and ask us to leave at 5:30. I have never been told by any restaurant that I needed to hurry up and eat my dinner if I wanted to dine at their establishment. The rudeness and superiority these hosts displayed is wild. The food was outstanding -- I had the grilled salmon served over rice with sautéed vegetables in a creamy, flavorful sauce. My friend enjoyed the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and veggies -- tender, rich, and full of flavor. Our server was pleasant and professional, just a bit reserved at first, but she became more engaging as the meal went on. She brought me a slice of carrot cake for my birthday, and when I mentioned I couldn't have it because of my walnut allergy, she kindly replaced it with a slice of chocolate cake instead. Both cakes were a nice touch, though they were a little cold and probably would've been even better at room temperature. After our meal, they brought out warm rolled towels, which was such a nice, relaxing touch. The atmosphere was modern and inviting -- I especially loved the gorgeous chandelier with its dramatic black chains and glowing glass orbs! The space felt elegant but cozy, with an open kitchen and stylish seating. The patio outside had string lights and a beautiful view near the water. Always enjoy coming here for a consistent experience. Highly recommend the bacon wrapped jalapeños and sticky ribs for appetizers and Rosemary's chicken is my go to for entree. We were going to a concert at Dos Lagos (Tracy Bird) and decided to eat first. Well, we found the great establishment right next to the venue! I ordered the Tuna Melt sandwich with fries and a glass of Chardonnay. The food was excellent, although I will try something else next visit as the menu was extensive! Brandon was our server and he was totally on point! Extremely proficient on the Specials for that night and checked to see if we needed anything multiple times during our stay. My husband ordered the short ribs and when they brought his plate out and sat it down and the rest of our food after we were sitting there for a moment and I'd already taken a bite of his short ribs. They came by and said oh that's not your plate. They then brought him another plate of short ribs, half the size? The beet salad had way too much dressing only had 6 fcandied pecans and the beats were not cut bite-size pieces. They were very large like if they cut them in quarter sizes. If I'm gonna pay for a salad I would like you to at least cut my beets up so I can eat them evenly with my salad. The watermelon, avocado wontons, not impressed. The calamari was the star. It was very tender and very good their tartar sauce, which is house made was delicious. Don't think we'll be back here. It is a very large place so if you're looking for somewhere to have a large group, this is your place if you're looking for mediocre food. read more

And everyone was raving about the deviled eggs so I tried them they weren't anything special. Just okay. After browsing Yelp, we came across this restaurant, and it turned out to be a great choice. The interior was dark yet cozy, creating a comfortable ambiance. The service was excellent--our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. I had the oatmeal brûlée topped with berries, which elevated oatmeal to a whole new level! My husband ordered steak, eggs, and hash browns, and he was happy with his meal--the steak was cooked exactly how he wanted it. I also enjoyed a coffee with Bailey's, which was a perfect treat. I've never been here but always heard about it. Shout out to Leilani who suggested it for a dinner spot after our UYE this past Saturday! Only 2 of us were able to go, but Ann V. and I had a great time! We were seated immediately when we walked in around 5 pm. It was perfect timing as the dinner rush had not come in yet. Harley was our server and he did an amazing job. Super friendly, very informative and kept on top of checking in with us. We didn't indulge too much, and only had 2 appetizers to share. The Avocado Wontons and the Loaded Deviled Eggs were enough to fill us up. Each dish was bursting with flavor and the presentation was a showstopper! I especially liked how the Deviled Eggs were piled high, and the Avocado Wontons were HUGE! We were going to order something else if we were still hangered, but we were satisfied. Harley suggested we take a look at the dessert menu and eventually sold us on the Warm Butter Cake! They currently have a Pumpkin Butter Cake, but we opted for the original. We did not regret it at all. It was definitely the perfect ending to our meal. Our table had a nice view of the patio and the lake outside. We kept seeing different dishes pass us by, and we both agreed we will be coming back here for sure, and the next time we do, we'll be starving so that we can enJOY a full entrée!! I went here for the first time while attending the Al Jerard convert. It was a very busy place and Kymberly my server did a very fine job making sure I was well taken care of. I had a patty melt and French onion soup both of which was delicious. My only real complaint is that they had music blaring instead of just background music if I had somebody with me to talk with, we would have a hard time hearing each other so many places do that these days and it's really unnecessary. The food is always great. However, over the years we've seen the portions get smaller and smaller but the prices way higher. I also had a glass cup explode on me while I was trying to drink from it. The servers were so kind and apologetic since they mention this has happened before but the manager could care less to take accountability.. even asked me what I did for it to explode.
