It's been a long time since I've been to this restaurant sadly due to Covid and my ever changing taste buds. Today I found myself with a little free time which might I add is very rare these days and found myself remembering the good ol days when I used to hit up this spot. My mouth began to salivate as soon as the memory of burger grease dripping down as I took that first bite. Ah it feels just like yesterday. Walking in I noticed the menu appeared to be much more expansive. They now offer wings and mozzarella sticks! Let's not forget to address the elephant in the room.. the Jawbreaker burger! A whopping 5 Pattie's between two buns. Wow! That's just too hard not to pass up. I love a great challenge. I said I wasn't gonna do it but I'll be damned as my debit card slid across the keypad I knew I was in trouble. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it inside the food court due to the fact I had to be at work within 20 minutes after ordering. When the buzzer when off I could already feel myself heavy breathing as I walked up to the counter to pick up my food. The gentleman handed me my bag and I took one whiff I knew I made a terrible but delicious mistake. I got to work and unraveled the beast of a burger and there it was... Five patties stuffed between lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and special sauce tightly squeezed between two measly buns! I took my first bite attempting to embrace the burger in its entirety to find myself unable to do it in one go. I only made it to the third patty. The meat was juicy and savory. My only disappointment was the lack of cheese. It was the only thing missing from this glorious beast. I bet if it came with cheese I probably would've enjoyed far more. Small chain fast food chain in a food court style place. Fries are great. Burgers are the smash burger/fast food style, but pretty high quality. Toppings weren't bad either. Staff was very pleasant and tried to make everything right that went wrong. One thing to note: the online menu is way off. I couldn't figure out how to order the combo meals. The kids meals don't come with a toy. They forgot the drink. One kids meal was missing, but the staff did call to tell me as soon as they realized. Website said orders ready in 10 minutes, but it will probably take longer. They also threw in a free chocolate cake. I was kind of surprised to find Revel in this seemlinglu empty indoor foodcourt building. It was a huge space with lots of TV screen to sit and watch and spend however much time you want. But given COVID, I suspected this place suffered from lack of crowd sadly fr timing of when COVID happened..which leave the whole building space.quiet.and generally empty. Nevertheless, the employees were friendly and wonderful and wait was quite short. The burger was quite fresh, especially with the still juicy grilled burger and fresh lettuce/tomato slices. I just wished though that they have more options for food (other than fried, chicken sandwich and burger). For one, I was sort of looking for a milkshake to go with a burger..but I didn't see any. It is located in the old Sports Authority just South of cosco on Montano. 1 There are several places inside this soon to be hopping food in entertainment venue once we get past this pandemic. I ordered a Burger and onion Rings. 1st let me say The Onion rings are the nice flowered and deep fried to a golden Brown kind. Not those crunchy frozen corn things. I got a hamburger to go from Revel Burger. The employees were friendly, kind, professional and with fast service. The restaurant is located inside a large food court area with several different restaurant establishments and bars. There are also large TVs to watch sports in the center bar area. It's very large inside with lots of room to spread out. The employees are also wearing masks and there are hand sanitizer stations all around inside to comply with Covid practices. The hamburger was quite tasty, with fresh ingredients, and I would get it again!!! There is also a station with napkins, catsup and mustard packets as well. The plating was nice and looked good to eat, but the meat was a lower class, I would say 85% lean or less. A few bits of cartilage in the meat. You can taste the difference when you eat 96% or sirloin for a patty which I usually do. Fries were nice and crispy that I enjoyed. I will not eat that burger again. And my wife got a salad. The "grilled cheese" was a singular slice of unmelted cheddar cheese between a hamburger bun. The salad was the most bland lettuce with just dressing and nothing else to make it flavorful or give it texture. I guess we just expected more from an eating establishment. I would have sampled further, but I had the family at home and ordered our food to-go. The chicken sandwich was seasoned well and juicy (grilled chicken can often be dried). The family all chose the burger with green chile and must have loved it because it was gone in a flash! The sweet potato and batter dipped fries were delicious, but definitely a smaller than normal portion of fries (we love fries). This place is very cool! Revel is part of an upscale indoor food court, and it offers excellent burgers. They also offer chicken sandwiches and salads, along with sides and drinks. Everything was very clean, and three service was friendly. Besides Revel, there's a taco place, a pizza place, a coffee bar, and rude boy cookies. In the center is a nice looking bar, but it isn't open right now due to covid. I definitely want to return and try a chicken sandwich. Be prepared and come hungry because the portions are very large! Revel Burger - decided to give this place a try after several good reviews through Yelp. This joint is located inside of REVEL where there are a few more food joints and a dueling piano bar. This place barely opened right before covid hit, so I was happy to see that Revel burger was open while there were a few other places that were closed down within REVEL. Pizza 9 was the only other place open at the time of my visit. There is a large cafeteria style eating space, but due to covid we had to take it to go. I ordered a green chile cheeseburger with all of the toppings (x2) and some beer battered fries and was told the wait would take about 15 minutes to prepare. Approximately 15 minutes later, my takeout box was ready to go. I really liked the cardboard box that it was presented in. Felt like the closest thing to a plate. There was a generous portion of fries that were tasty. I then took our burgers down to enjoy lunch in the car with my husband outside his workplace. We both happily downed our thick greasy, dripping burgers. Service was nice and friendly at Revel Burger. There is a large restroom with several stalls and that place was spic and span clean. Not the best and not the worst burger I've had. Prices are a bit high for what you get. They only sell a basic burger which comes with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and special sauce and anything additional cost $1-3 depending on the item. Fries and drinks are also not included or any meals are offered this is all an extra cost. We noticed the buns also looked pretty big and we had issues eating the burger as everything slides out after the first bite. It was very messy. When we sat with our order number we were served our meal and asked for napkins and ketchup for our fries. We were told we had to get up and get it ourselves at the order counter. Lamest Of The Lame! Plus, it's in a weird cavernous venue that reeks of old cooking oil with zero people. 100% in-house ground chuck? There was so much secret sauce, you couldn't even tell where the micro meat patty was. Didn't even smell like fresh grilled hamburger? No fountain drinks as advertised it was a can of soda and we dropped $30 for a meal we could have purchased at any fast food chain that actually tasted good at half the price. Very salty too. It's depressing, but very essential. I share my experience that the we had. The only redeeming quality is that revel burger sponsored with an organization on giving Tuesday that we at least felt some peace with by giving 30% of our tab to the charity. They started just before covid-19 closure. The facility is clean and staff was terrific. I will definitely go back and support them. First off let me say how surprised I am that although I visit the Costco on Renaissance at least once a month this is the first time I've discovered Revel Burger just a hop over from the Costco! I love that the menu is simple and offers the most basic American foods I expect to see at a burger joint. Hamburger, chicken sandwich, salads, fries and onion rings. The real and perfectly seasoned beef was absolutely delicious and satisfied my desire for a fresh juicy burger. I added a side of onion rings and a Mediterranean salad to round out the meal. I decided i had to give this place a try especially after they kept sending promotions to me ads in the mail. The overall complex is really cool with nice indoor and outdoor dining spaces. I was super excited to see that the burger place had the impossible burger on the menu, so I absolutely had to go out to support them. I try to support every place that does vegetarian options like this and at least give them one try. I will definitely be going back. They didn't over cook the burger which made me ecstatic, because so many places seem to think if you don't cook plant-based meat to a leather-like texture it will kill you....or something. Revel burger is in a food court type building with a bar in the middle which has big screen TVs around the bar. It's a very cool setting and would be nice to enjoy a cocktail while eating; however, the bar is closed because of COVID. We wish we would have discovered the Revel food court before COVID. It's a brilliant idea from the era when we could still eat, drink, and be merry in vast company. As it was, we had to have our temperature checked and leave our contact information to walk into the food court where we ordered to-go because we still aren't comfortable with the idea of sitting inside a restaurant or food court to eat, regardless of what the safety order of the day is. We appreciated the serious effort taken to space tables, check temperatures, and keep the people brave enough to come in for dining safe. We also appreciated how well the burger and chicken sandwich we ordered kept for the drive home where we actually ate them. To accompany or sandwiches we got the beer-battered fries and the sweet potato fries. The beer-battered fries were super crisp on the outside and creamy soft in the center. Same for the planks of sweet potato. The burger and chicken sandwich were quality cooking, fresh-cooked to order. These are all reasons that we will be happy to return for the take-out, and if it's ever safe to do so again, we would definitely remember Revel for a party. read more
