This place is very nice on the inside. It was very clean and had a nice ambiance. Service was a little slow in the beginning especially since they were not that busy. For starters they give you homemade garlic bread. It was very good! We split the butternut squash soup it was good however when I think of soup I want it fresh and hot. It was warm and could have been better. They have a decent menu with different options to choose from. The lobster ravioli was fantastic. Lobster was really fresh and the sauce was really good. Our favorite Italian food in the area, hands down. Whenever we have something to celebrate or catering to order, we always choose Revere. The food is excellent, the service never disappoints, and the restaurant always seems very clean. On our most recent order of catering when we had friends from the area over, they remarked that it was the best Italian they'd ever had and were upset to not have heard of Revere sooner. Went here for the Mother's Day brunch for six adults and spent $400...three alcoholic drinks and tip was automatically included but that didn't stop them from adding an additional tip line and adding my 4 year old daughter as an adult even though she should have been free. They sat us next to a sliding barn door that would t stay open, wonderful. The Bloody Mary didn't come with celery and was disgusting. The food was warm (at best) and flavorless if not cold on other dishes. Everything was over cooked and dried out. I'm honestly not sure why this place has four stars. The dessert was eh and the coffee was terrible. I actually review them from time to time as a reminder of my experience. I'm revising my initial review to five stars based off of my phone call earlier, today. I actually got a call from the owner, Andrew and was really surprised. He refunded my card for the cost of the Bloody Mary's, went through my order and explained everything to me. I'm not perfect and I should t expect perfection in return. I'm blown away by the call. Andrew wasn't angry and handled it with the professionalism that was necessary to have me reconsider my initial thoughts. Andrew asked if I'm local and when I said yes he sent me a gift card, asked that we give them another try and when we come back (which we will), asked that I ask for him so he can come by and introduce himself. I know things have gone sideways a bit during and after the pandemic but it's refreshing to see that good business practices are still in place. Had dinner with family about a week ago on a busy Saturday night. A lively atmosphere with a neighborhood/family feel. A lot of families and couples. My arugula salad and chicken cacciatore were really good (always comparing this dish to my Grandmother's, of course). Everyone seemed to love their pasta and steak dishes. Our server was terrific - friendly, timely, on top of it - and patient. I wish I had taken pics, but you know how families get - everyone's ADD really shines! lol read more

18 people served quickly and everyone -- from 10 countries -- complimented the food. Our Instagram chef said the saltimbocca was excellent. The branzino filet with risotto was delicious. The starter of herb parmesan artisan bread was warm, soft, crusty and plentiful. We agreed the bang bang shrimp were perfect and the escarole bean appetizer was surprisingly flavorful. highly recommend! this place is super cute and the staff is great. my boyfriend and i went for happy hour and we're presently surprised. while waiting for our food we got some bread that was pre seasoned and buttered. the look scared me but the taste secured another serving of it. to start we got the caprese flatbread and it was amazing- super flavorful and perfect to split between 2 people. for entrées we got the $10 meatball happy hour special as well as a penne vodka to split. the penne was hot, saucy, and perfect with some cheese and red pepper flakes. i didn't like the meatballs too much but my boyfriend definitely enjoyed them. for dessert we got the peanut butter explosion and it was to die for. our server shannon was perfect and made the experience that much better. the other worker Simon was extremely helpful and attentive. will definitely be returning in the future and suggest anyone to give it a try! read more

We went for lunch to celebrate my Birthday on Monday, February 20, 2023 drinks were great! I had a Margarita! We shared 4 appetizers & they were great! Meatballs, Bang Bang Shrimp, calamari all delicious! The main course was great I had Vodka Rigatoni & Chicken Marsala. We shared 2 desserts & we had Cappuccinos. I must admit to being slightly disappointed. I had heard wonderful things about Revere. Started off oddly when we were placed at a table two feet from the only other party in the room. I just don't understand it. We could hear their entire conversation and they ours I'm sure. I get that that is unavoidable when the room is filled, but it wasn't. Our waiter never introduced himself. His service was average at best. By the end of the meal, two women servers stepped in to fill some gaps (water and dessert). Having said that, the food was very good. The bread was delicious. The salads were fresh. Our entrees were big and tasty. We had plenty to bring home. The shared tiramisu was ok. Not the best I've had. Seemed a bit odd that it was served in a bowl rather than as a slice of cake like I'm used to. Came with a generous bit of whipped cream which was delicious. Not saying we won't be back but won't be in a hurry to go back especially with so many amazing restaurants in our area. read more

Ate here last night. The special was a pricey ($42) lobster franchise. Love lobster so I ordered it. Almost inedible. Rubbery, heavy coating, floating in a too lemony sauce. Way to ruin a perfectly good lobster. The bread was very peppery and the salad so full of balsamic I choked on it. They up charged my husband $2 for the Caesar side salad and another $4 for anchovies. Never again. read more

Established 1865. Totally renovated and reinvented 2019. I fell in love with the new owner, Andrew, who proudly shared his story with us after our amazing meal. We were first time visitors but felt like regulars after a relaxing dinner that involved generous drinks, healthy portions and an envroimnet where we could acually hear each other talk. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Live music played in the background while we enjoyed great food served by Jess who was knowledgeable about the preparations of every item on the menu (we had a GF diner in our mist). The veal chop and strip steak were the table favorites as we passed around our plates discovering new flavors. Order the pork belly appetizer....I may dream about it tonight. All of the pasta was perfectly al dente. The salads that came with our entrees were crunchy, cold and fresh. Eggplant is my yardstick for all Italian Resturant's. This one didn't disappoint. I have passed this place so many times and FINALLY went to dinner this past weekend. One thing about Revere is it proves to never judge a book by its cover. From the highway it seems like more of a dive, but once we pulled into the lot I could see that it was a lot more packed than I would have imagined. Complimentary valet greets you at the entrance and there is a tent full of outdoor seating options. We ate inside and stopped at the bar for a drink while we waited for our table and I was impressed with how nice this place is on the inside - string lights around the bar area, two separate dining rooms, beautiful wooden plank walls. The food was amazing - there was not one dish we didn't like. We started with the cherry pepper glaze calamari and meatball insalata and enjoyed the complimentary bread. It's seriously so delicious. I was hoping to try the veal chop Parmesan for dinner, however they were out of veal by the time our 8pm reservation rolled around which was disappointing, but from what I can see from those who did get the veal it looked fantastic. I opted for the pork chop saltimbocca with a side of vodka rigatoni while my fiancé had the vodka chicken Parmesan. We were both very satisfied with our dishes and ended up packing half of our leftovers to enjoy for dinner the following night since we were definitely ready to unbutton our jeans at this point. Best Shrimp Scampi I've ever had. My husband and I went on Friday around 5:30 and were greeted with smiles all around. We were sat right away and brought water and bread within minutes. The bread is fresh baked and sliced into huge pieces with garlic and pepper. I honestly could have made a meal out of the bread alone. The Mozzarella alla Vodka appetizer came recommended and it did not disappoint. Their homemade vodka sauce is amazing. It's so light and flavorful and is swimming with hunks of Prosciutto. The pieces of mozzarella were huge and lightly breaded. So, so good. I plan to go back sometime for lunch just so I can order all the appetizers as a meal. Shrimp Scampi is my favorite dish of all time. I order it every time we go to an Italian restaurant. Coming from an Italian family, I don't always go in with high expectations. This was hands down the best Shrimp Scampi I have ever had. The shrimp were huge and cooked to perfection and the sauce had a perfect balance of lemon and garlic. It was served over linguine and every bite was amazing. You can see tons of fresh pieces of garlic throughout the entire plate. I ate every last bite. My husband got the Chicken Parm as always and loved it. It came with so much chicken (3 huge pieces) that he couldn't even finish half of it. The chicken was thinly sliced and perfectly breaded and the marinara sauce was amazinggg. You can tell the Chef comes right from Italy. Each meal was served with a salad which is rare these days. The salads were so big we took half of them home for lunch the next day. My Sangria was also top notch. We opted for dessert to go because we were so full from the amount of food we got. We ordered the Cheesecake and the Tiramisu. Honestly...they were both heaven. I couldn't even tell which I liked better, i just kept going back and forth between the two of them. The tiramisu was so light and fluffy and not saturated in espresso like most tiramisus are. The cheesecake...also light and fluffy and topped with a rich chocolate ganache. Most desserts at Italian restaurants come pre-made and frozen. You can tell that everything here is made in house and super fresh. From the moment we walked in to the time we left we were impressed. The staff were all super friendly and seemed genuinely happy. Our waitress was very attentive but not suffocating, we were never left waiting for any food and plates were cleared without you even noticing. The prices were very fair especially for the amount of food you get. We left completely stuffed with leftovers. We will definitely be back soon. read more

I dined here with friends recently while visiting the area. I was warned to save lots of room in my tummy for dinner because we would chow down like no other that night. Revere is a favorite of my friends and now I know why. Joe (the owner) was an amazing host and took complete care of us. I asked Joe for roasted garlic...which isn't on the menu...and viola! We had a black skillet of roasted garlic cloves suspended in olive oil. I dipped and smeared it on everything. We were served family-style with one course after another. To be completely honest, we had more food that I can recall! But I will say this, ALL of it was some of the best Italian food I've had in a very very long time. I could taste Joe's Grandmother's love in every bite. Each morsel rich in family tradition. Part of the great dining experience was the live entertainment in the bar area. This young one-man band was amazing! He's able to impersonate singers from Sinatra to Barry White. When you visit Revere, please leave your diets at home and say hello to Joe! I can't believe I haven't written about BACON DUSTED CALAMARI! Yes, it's as awesome as it sounds. Revere is in this odd part of town, kind of on route 29, but not. I don't particularly like to come eat INSIDE because it's all dark and gloomy no matter what type of 90 degree weather sunshine is outside. The place gives you the feeling that there is some kind of illegal mob business going on in the table next to you; which I guess adds to it's charm because next thing you know you are whispering to your date. Now the food - I've been here a handful of times and have never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I prefer to come during the week for lunch as they have a $10 lunch menu that rocks. But everything from the penne vodka (creamy to perfection), to the roasted revere chicken (big enough to easily feed two) is absolutely delicious. What I never, ever skip out on here is the appetizer - bacon dusted calamari. It's their own take on it, so it's kind of sweet, salty and bacony - absolutely perfect. I haven't had anything like that anywhere else. I am taking one star out because it always seems like there is only one server on at all times so if there are a few tables in there, it takes awhile. Then the bartender is not very knowledgeable on drinks besides wines, but I guess this is that kind of place where you order wine and not a bay breeze. Definitely get here and look as shady as possible....trust me, you will fit in and next thing you know you will leave with a greasy Italian mobster accent. read more

I'm struggling with the review, because overall dinner last night was a very positive experience. We loved the service. We loved the cheese bread & salads (be sure to get the dressing on the side, since my companion's salad was drowning). I had delicious grilled salmon, mashed potatoes & veggies. My friend ordered veal marsala that was way way heavy with cracked peppercorns, and she is not a fan of spicy foods. We each had ice tea, and halfway through the meal we were offered refills to the rather small glasses of tea. My friend had coffee & we shared a delicious tiramisu. When the check came, we were charged for 4 ice teas @ $2 each. I found that really poor business, and said so when the embarrassed waitress came for our payment. She said that there are no free refills except coffee at Revere, and I got the feeling this is something she deals with all the time. Despite the good food and service, I took a star for that refill policy. Maybe I'm being petty, but I'd rather them charge $2.50 or even $3 and give me refills. read more

We love starting the night with a drink at the bar made by Mike-- he makes the BEST Long Islands!
