Gf and a friend came here for a facial and was pushed to spend $1000 on a package. They were pressured and were warned that the next time they came, they would not receive the deal. Before they started, they were encouraged to go naked "because there are no guys allowed here". Then later they were asked when they had bfs, then said to bring them for a future service. They were constantly pressured to purchase the $100 package and were asked "why would you want to spend $50 on the massage when it's free with the $1000 package"? I saw the add on yelp for a hydrafacial and was very excited since it was a promotion for $90. They greeted me very nicely and I was taken into an office to evaluate my skin before the facial. I had a hydrafacial done before and I imagined it was going to be the same type of evaluation. She quickly said they had 4 different types of product lines. I imagined this was for the prepping of the hydrafacial. She said my skin was very dehydrated, of course that's why I was there, and that I needed hydration. I agreed, I said I want the hydrating hydrafacial. She said it would be additional and showed me a vial, that was not a hydrafacial logo. She took me to the facial room and removed my makeup.. Later she started cleaning my face and steam etc.. Massaged my face, shoulders, etc. After she was done cleaning my face she started doing manual extractions! I told her wait aren't you going to use the machine, she said I'm taking out the big ones. Okay .... She then used the wand, finally to do "extractions" but I'm pretty sure it was the exfoliation phase.. After she said I don't have many blackheads.. She then used the metal devices That have the light. And the portion of the hydrafacial was OVER! I liked the facial but I went for a HYDRAFACIAL! I was happy about the price but would of loved to upgrade so that my whole session was performed with the machine. My skin was hydrated and clean but I wish they would of been honest about what treatment I was getting. Although it was a nice facial I would not go back because they are deceiving. Also very pushy in terms of the sale. I was with them for an additional 30 minutes. I did tell the aesthetician that the Hydrafacial she performed was not like the one I had before. I have been there twice so far... Definitely a fan of Hydrafacial and LPG. The Hydrafacial machine clears my pore from blackheads also reduces it size and the LPG machine instantly gives a lift and reshape my face from swelling or water retain. I haven't been this relaxed, well ever. The whole day I felt I was floating on clouds. This place is AMAZING and the total experience leaves me excited for my next visit. In order for me to judge this place fairly since I liked it so much the first time and thought maybe cause it was because of the 'yelp deal' I decided to try a second visit. The hydrafacial is unreal. I've had facials before but this place makes me feel 'celeb status'. The environment is so clean and relaxing and the people here are so friendly. I love how much time they spend on my face. Gracie (who did my face both times) not only judges my skin on how it looks, but she feels every inch of it to properly determine what it needs. It seems she customized her process based on how my face was during that time. Which is awesome as she cares for the outcome and for the client. I forgot to mention the reason I was looking for a facial is my face started breaking out like crazy. I normally would breakout with one or two blemish every month or so. However, it would disappear fast. Somehow that changed and my face started to breakout all over. I believe it was due to stress. As the blemishes where healing they would leave dark marks and new ones would show up in a different spot. I decided I was due for a facial. Well a month and half later and two facials completed my face is almost looking back to normal. I have a couple blemish dark marks that still have to lighten up but I'm really happy with my face again. This is my new favorite place. If I could afford to see them everyday I totally would. I got the hydra facial, which is cool cuz they don't use a needle to pop your pimples. so it's less invasive and painful! The spa is new and very clean. The decor is super nice. The blankets you lay on are super soft and comfy. you just want to fall asleep on it. When you arrive they give you a tube top terry cloth to change into. This is a great lie business.  I purchased a $2,000 service package from the manager, Ping. She gave me her cell phone number and offered me to call her at  any time if I would need her assistance.  Nice??? It seemed a great deal to me. However,  I encountered difficulties for making the first service appointment.  I called business phone 2 times, no answer; then called Ping's mobile phone.  She answered but she said she was off and asked her to continue to call the office line; I called the office another 2 times. No answer;  then I called Ping again to hope she could call someone's cell phone at shop to get my appointment scheduled. However, she didn't answered my phone. Apparently, she didn't want to help as she offered me before. I was so frustrated.  After having received the payment for the service package, they would not care about the customer, even it was so difficult to make an appointment. read more

Worst place I've been to! Their machines are old, refurbished and counterfeit from China. They still manual extract your blackheads when you're doing Hydra facial. They try ever way to cut corner, and think customers won't notice. Not to mention the price they quote for members are much higher than non members, and they won't change anything/ honor the wrong price they quoted you, even if it is their fault. They claim they are medical aesthetic, but you've never seen nurses or doctors there. Everytime when you ask to see the machines, they said it is in used (the machine don't exist they lie). If you schedule with a medical procedure, they'll ask an actual legit clinic to transfer the machine over with a medical assistant. But does not necessarily mean this is a medical aesthetic clinic. They just post their medical aesthetic sign to attract more vulnerable customers to come in and scam them. They always mess up your appointments, and they said it is customers' fault! It is a great experience. The place is nicely decorated and the staff is experienced. They did a really good job. I am surprised a place like this exist in Temple City. Price wise, they are not cheap but definitely the entire experience is a good value. I had the hydra facial and while it was good, it was comparable to the lower price facials found all over San Gabriel. I think the key here is the environment and the friendly staff. I purchased the $90 yelp deal and chose the hydrafacial, plus hand treatment. My experience was pleasant. Six days after my facial treatment, my facial skin still shows signs of improvement. They are proffesional and friendly. They are also equiped with more advanced equipments, and high-end products. I'd recommend yelp readers to chose the hydrafacial, plus the LED light treatment in lieu of the hand treatment--as it did not do anything for me. Or, you can chose the luxury package, w/c already has the light treatment included. I am contemplating whether I should purchased the hydrafacial package deal ($900/10x). It is expensive, but it does gives you that "luxury" pampery feel. The reason for the 4* instead of 5* because I wasn't really "wow" by it, but that's only due to my personal life experience. I definately would come back, and will come back. Life is short, if you don't know how to treat yourself well, then who would? read more

What a find! This little gem is beyond my normal driving distance, but totally worth it. I had the best facial ...ever, at about 1/2 to 1/3 the price of facials in other zip codes. I'm a recent hydrafacial fan and this one was the best I've had. The aesthetician knows skin and was able to take one look at mine and see that it was sensitive and slightly dehydrated (totally on point given the dominant coffee/wine food groups in my diet), then customized my facial accordingly. They use high end products and her technique is good and thorough. She took her time and I felt totally pampered the entire time. The spa has this beautiful and peaceful zen decor. They did not push product, though given how my skin felt and looked I will be incorporating the line into my home routine. I probably would not go back if it was just the best deal around because I'm really picky and don't mind paying for competence, professionalism and quality- but because this place has all of the above I'll be back often. I did their hydra facial service, the machine thoroughly cleansed my face and they put layers of good stuff on my face that made my face felt very good, in the process, they massaged my face, neck and arms, feels wonderful and relax, the music was soft and gentle and at the end, they gave you a cup of nice tea after the service which was just what I needed at the moment, very thoughtful. The place is for people to enjoy and relax. A superb experience, I plan go on a regular basis, it's a total treat to myself in my busy schedule. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase the $90 coupon from Yelp. My hydra facial was done by Amy. She was extremely nice. I was a bit skeptical, thinking that the hydra facial wouldn't be as good as traditional extractions. I was wrong! The facial was fantastic. My face was clean and more even toned. I enjoyed Revival RX in the past. However, I felt that the new staff provide poor customer service. One of the staff member, Katherine, tried to sell a portable Japanese sauna to me. She said it cost like $1,000 and others are ordering it. I checked online and the price for the Japanese sauna on Amazon is less than $200.00. Additionally, she was very pushy in selling more packages to me when I told her that I'm not going to buy additional ones. When I try to make appointments, staff always tell me that the appointments that I want is booked. This tremendously slowed down my progress in losing weight as I use their LPG machine. Sometimes, they even tell me to do the hot stone first then LPG. YUCK! I don't want to be all sweaty and do the LPG machine! Half of the time I couldn't understand Bing (receptionist) as her English is so bad. I wouldn't recommend this place because the staff are shady! read more

I've been to my share of spas, but this little hidden gem takes the cake. I took my mom here for a hydrafacial and hand treatment, and they far exceeded our expectations! First of all, the hydrafacial procedure itself is legit. After three consecutive treatments (spaced a week apart), my skin is noticeably more hydrated, which has reduced the appearance of my fine lines around the eyes. This is the first and only procedure that has had such an effect on me (have not yet had Botox or fillers, but I have spent my fair share on retinol creams, etc). Second of all, the technicians really go above and beyond to pamper you, including the shoulder massage and customized products for your skin type -- my technician even shaped my eyebrows (just a cleanup, nothing dramatic)! I saw my dermatologist the following week, and he even remarked that my skin looked much better. Great value for your money. read more
