So glad we finally have one in the area. I visited Sunday for brunch and per usual they did not disappoint. We ordered a bunch of food to just try multiple things out - the buratta and fruit plate to start, the french omelette, ribeye sandwich, truffle fries and kale salad. I'd 1000% order everything again. They don't offer any hard liquor but they have and extensive wine list and wine cocktails are amazing that we tried. The vibe is on point. My cousin and I visited RH Rooftop Restaurant on a Sunday evening to enjoy a day out together. From the moment I stepped inside, the 60,000 square foot design gallery, the ambiance amused me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The lady gave very detailed instructions on how to get to the rooftop bar on the third floor. My reservation was at 4:00. I arrived 10-15 minutes early. I looked around the gorgeous furniture store, while heading up to the third floor. I took the stairs, so I could enjoy the entire view. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles and promptly seated me, even though my guest was not there yet. I started with the grilled shrimp and classic caesar, both of which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The salad was a delightful mixture balance. The six nice size shrimps with lemon, butter, garlic, and Calabrian chili was cooked perfect! For the main course, I got the whole grilled branzino. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy skin and tender flesh. No bones! I ordered the charred grilled broccolini, it came out a little cold. My server nicely took it back and bought me some hot broccolini. I was not impressed with the broccolini. The service throughout the evening was attentive without being intrusive, and my server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. Overall, The RH Rooftop Restaurant in Northhills, offering great food in an upscale setting. It was just okay. Ambience was nice. Sophisticated. Not much in the way of any Christmas decorations. Music was meh. The Service was just okay. She was polite, I ordered a glass of wine which never came - when I reminded her it was clear she had forgotten, but since I was already eating the main course I declined having the wine. The food started well nunt ended disappointingly. The artichoke appetizer was the highlight and delicious. Entree was King Salmon ($38 - no side) While it LOOKED nice with a beautiful lacquer it was fishy. My stepmom ordered a salad with the same salmon. Fishy :( I ordered truffle fries to go with it since no side came with the salad. Good but not great. 2 Cappucino's...no alcohol - regular water drink. $145 plus tip. Really it was a beautiful space with meh food. WIll not go back, will not recommend. The food looks good. Except for the artichoke it tastes just okay. For $145 for 2 people for lunch with no alcohol - no thanks. Those are Disney prices, and at least there they make great cocktails and have fresh fish and great service. Had birthday dinner and it was great. Our server was fantastic and was very helpful with my daughter's gluten allergy. We had grilled shrimp and the filet and both were delicious as well as the strawberries & cream dessert and raspberry sorbet. read more

First of all- I will say that our server, and management were fantastic. The food was delicious. Things seemed to be running behind for us (meals taking too long) and we were apologized to and offered a complimentary round of drinks which was very sweet. The manager checked in often (her name was Dylan) and she truly cared about us having a good time. At the end, I had asked to split the payment between two of my cards with specific amounts. This right here is why I'm leaving a 1 star. The server accidentally overcharged me, the restaurant fixed it on the receipt, however, a hold for just over a couple hundred dollars was placed on my card... for DAYS. Dylan told us that it should fall off of our card relatively quickly, and it did not. I called my credit card company and they said it should've already updated. Ok, annoying, but whatever. The NEXT DAY, I had TONS of fraudulent activity on my credit card! I had to call my creditor and they immediately handled it and issued me an entirely new account. We are on vacation, visiting from up north. Needless to say when we come back to North Carolina we will absolutely not be returning. read more

When we first entered the building, we were greeted with opulence and a friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Upon reaching the restaurant level, we immediately enjoyed the room- spacious and comfortable while also exhibiting a fancy, responsible feeling. We were brought to our table, laid with couches, and given drinks rapidly by an attentive and amicable waiter. The set-up was well thought out and genuinely enjoyable to eat in, especially with affable and quick service. The lobster roll, charcuterie, burger, shaved rib-eye sandwich, fries, and charred broccoli were delectable. The ending dessert was customized to our liking, and while the cost was hefty, it was paid for with the atmosphere, service, and food. However the girl, supposedly the hostess, at the restaurant , seemed really cold when I told her I had no reservation, almost like we did not belong there. Food was okay. Nothing overtly flavorful. I might come back for the chicken sando, but other than that, I probably will not be back. Nothing against this place, but for the price it just wasn't worth it. The salmon was super bland, undercooked against my specifications, and the charred broccolini was just okay, some of it was overtly charred to the point of being inedible. The potato puree was nice and creamy though. The chicken was pretty good, but I've had better tasting rotisserie chicken. It's a beautiful space, we were seated near the fountain indoor, and it was super romantic which I enjoyed. Service was average as far as wait staff go. The restaurant is pretty, although a bit noisy, and there is a nice outdoor space for before-dinner drinks. The service is good; the waiters are grown ups. The big problem is that the food is bad. Our artichoke starter was half artichokes frizzled to death and half bland potatoes, all over-salted. Our main courses were dull and salted to the point of being inedible. The service and the ambiance was good. However, their food is more expensive than a fine dining establishment. A bacon burger with fries is $41 which is outrageous. The burger was not good either! Went with a group of 6 for what was supposed to be dinner. The restaurant itself is stunning- 10/10 for atmosphere. However, we were seated at a couch with what was basically a coffee table to eat off of which was not practical at all. We decided to just order drinks and a couple apps and go somewhere else for an actual meal- we didn't want to pay $100 for a meal to have to eat hunched over a coffee table. Ok so the place is VERY nice inside especially at night! Beautiful lights and set up ...definitely a nice place & love the little fountain in the middle. They have a lot of tables for 2 set up by the fountain which is nice but not as nice when the floor is getting wet and you're getting little splashes on your feet. I'd recommend having someone dry the floor regularly to avoid possible slip and fall situations. The service was nice. Everyone was kind, friendly, & respectful. The food though it's edible, but it's not really good. It's not flavorful and very underwhelming especially for the price. This place is too pricey for the food to not be good. I spent almost $200 between 2 people and neither of us were impressed with the food. We had salmon, steak, truffle fries, & lobster roll bites with caviar. The fries were great! The bites were decent but when they say bite that's exactly what they meant lol ..a tiny bite! Everything else was meh. I'd recommend this place solely for the vibes.. just skip the food. It looks like there's an option to buy wine and chill on the outside rooftop area. If I went back it would only be for that. read more

We visited in the New Year. The food was burned, and I mean burned. Shrimps-burned; Rib eye #1-burned; Rib eye #2-burned. Only the potato purée and the drinks were not. The waiter didn't even follow up after she brought the food. How can you bring food to a table like that. Plus, even though we had reservations we needed to wait approximately 15 mins. The place was not full and there were like half the tables empty. Not coming back. Just go across the street to True Food Kitchen, and get a nice piece of beef, and nice salmon for half the price; better taste and better service. read more

We just had the best experience at RH Raleigh. Similar to all the other locations that we've been to, the atmosphere was stunning. Over the top gorgeous. The food was incredible - especially the Shrimp and Burrata Appetizers. Our server, Jenny, could not have been sweeter. She was the perfect blend of attentive but without rushing us or hovering at all. Overall, fantastic experience. I will going back this weekend. My fiance and I went here(Raleigh, NC location) for my birthday and while the scenery was beautiful, the food was mediocre and the service was horrible!!! The waitress was very unprofessional and doesn't know what customer service is. Her mannerism came off as if my fiance and or myself had never been or maybe didn't know what to expect from an upscale restaurant or didn't belong there in which case I've been to several and never experienced this kind of service from a waitress or waiter, not even from a regular steakhouse like Longhorn. My steak came out room temperature and when I brought it to her attention she took it back and brought it back out and said they rewarmed it for you smh. To top off the evening, I received their complimentary birthday dessert which is a cookie, in a brown paper bag while I watched her give another table theirs on a plate with a candle and sing happy birthday to them and assist them with photos. She then explained she brought the cookie out in a bag because "Ya man acted like ya'll were in a hurry." I was appalled by her verbiage and customer service skills especially at a restaurant of this caliber. The manager came over and was explained to what happened and so did the waitress after being told multiple times the manager was handling it. He offered an apology. Needless to say I am very disgusted with the service we received especially after spending $200 and on my birthday. Beautiful restaurant. Disgusting and distasteful experience and waitress.
