This was my first time going to Rhoza, she fixed the color of my hair which was a big mess. She used a dark brown color which looks very natural and put some highlights (burgundy) so it doesn't look too dark! She did an excellent job matching my skin tone with the colors she selected, I'm very pleased with the results, my husband said this is the best hair color he's ever seen on me! I tried Rhoza out when she offered to service my hair at no charge because she wanted to thank me for my kindness at her students' school. She did an outstanding job. I was just going to get a (split-end) treatment, but she asked if I would let her play with my color, and I said ok. The result was gorgeous, and I left looking so much hotter than with the drab colors I'd had when I walked in! I've gone back a couple times since, and it just gets better & better. Rhoza is a master at cuts and styles! You should definitely make an appointment with her. I've written hair stylist reviews before and generally rave about them, however, Rhoza gets 6 stars and I wish I there was an option for that! I am a mid-30's guy who is glad that I have hair to cut, and I keep a mid-length style. It's hard to find the right balance between clean-cut east-coast assimilation and west coast individuality, but Rhoza masterfully achieves that with my hair. I'm so thankful I found her. Rhoza brings established experience and keen insight into each cut and style, resulting in a look and cut way better than you were expecting. Sometimes it is hard to communicate they style you want, but Rhoza applies her talent and insight into delivering a cut that both works with your hair and with your personality. I completely trust Rhoza with my hair and it's nice not to be anxious or wonder how things will look. I never used to get compliments or have people notice my hair, but since finding Rhoza and having her cut my hair, I get compliments all the time! I scheduled a haircut and lowlight/highlight with Rhoza when I couldn't get an appointment with my regular hair stylist. First, we went over colors and she matched the color of my roots as I wanted to remain fairly dark with a few highlights so it wasn't so noticeable when it started to grow out. Secondly, I told her I wanted some layers but I didn't want my hair cut too much. She ended up cutting my hair above my chin when it was way past my shoulders and tried to justify it by saying it wasn't laying right. She then proceeded to tell me I would love it later (still waiting two weeks on). There are hardly any layers and it doesn't lay right now when it did before. As far as the color, when she started taking off the foils she proceeded to call me blondie when that was the furthest thing I wanted. I said why is it blonde when I wanted something that would match my natural color and she proceeded to say it would. I'm not sure if she's color blind or was just messing with me but needless to say every time I look in the mirror I regret with every fiber of my being scheduling this appointment.
